doggy camp rocks!

our morning was busy as we packed up for a night at the cottage, making sure we were good to go! Harley & pals Louie, Dutch, Otto & Jasper went for a leisurely stroll when we were done.
Hunter took an ol' faithful route on his morning walk.. through his friendly neighbourhood.
Muskoka, Princess, Megan, Maddie, Belle & Lila were off to the lake, happy when they arrived to see happy & familiar tails.
Dora took the dog walker express a few blocks away & enjoyed the walk back.
next, Camp A Dog's Way was cottage-bound!! so very exciting!
Connor joined Harley, Louie, Jasper, Otto & Dutch and we were on our way. before tucking in for the night, we trekked through Mara provincial park for an awesome walk! they all ventured down their own paths, enjoying the journey. it was incredible!
now, we're all snuggled by the fireplace.. kicking back & relaxing! what a life :)

living a flip flop life!

Hunter was pleasantly surprised with pup pals Bandit, Maddie, Dutch, Otto & Harley who joined him @ Marie Curtis park. the dogs were social and made friends with many others!
Belle, Ben, Odin, Lila, Cookie & Maddie were off to high park next. we found a lost pup at the entrance to dog hill.. so we added one to the pack, looking for his person. Mr. Dog was great company until we found them. the pack was patient & calm in support of our new friend.
Dora was a ray of the bright sunshine on her potty break.
Muskoka, Princess, Molly & Megan headed for the trails by the Humber river racing through & splashing in for a dip.
the day was so beautiful, Bandit, Dutch, Otto & Harley were off for an afternoon walk.. enjoying the summer-like weather, full of sunshine & flip flops!

hot hot heat! :)

this morning was quiet & the bird were chirping while Harley, Dutch & Otto enjoyed their early morning outdoors. we basked in the sun before having Louie & Abby join us. then we were off to the park.. what a morn'! there were lots of playmates and it was a perfect way to start the day!
next, we're off to pick up Odin, Oscar, Muskoka, Princess & Cookie.. meeting familiar fur-iends at Marie Curtis park. we were all very excited for the new rocks put around the park for extra fun & selective shade.. they tucked under when they needed a rest. we kept lots of cool water around to rehydrate after their play.
Dyte & Dora brought huge smiles to my face for their incredible cuteness :)
Jasper, Louie, Megan, Muskoka & Princess made their way through lambton park to the Humber river for a refreshing dip.. a perfect way to cool off on this hot day! ☀
at camp, we lazed around enjoying the warm afternoon. after dinner, we headed for an evening stroll to take in the sunset. wonderful day!!

happy first day of spring!!

the morning started off with an eerie fog that was heavy & low, despite the birds chirping & singin' for spring! Marie Curtis was blanketed with fog when Bandit, Dutch, Megan, Maddie, Otto & Harley arrived.. we couldn't see other pups at the park until we got real close. it didn't take very long for the pups to get tuckered, esp after an active morn.
Dyte & Dora enjoyed the crisp afternoon air for their midday breaks.
Belle, Ben, Muskoka, Cookie, Princess & Jasper were full of beans in anticipation to get to the park. we had a ton of fun with fetch, chasing, racing, swimming & lounging. Belle fetched the ball in & out of the water while Ben chased her around. Cookie raced back & forth, searching for prey. Jasper jumped into the lake, making a splash while Muskoka & Princess lounged around, watching everything go down.
Odin joined Jake & Dixie for a lake & creek-side stroll. we trekked through the trails taking in the warm sunshine. the pups went for many swims in the creek along our way!
back at camp.. Otto, Bandit, Maddie & Harley went for a run.. what a great way to work up an appetite for dinner!

summer before spring!?

Dutch, Maddie, Otto & Harley went for a leisurely stroll to start their day.. we took our time, enjoying the warm morning sun!
Hunter was waiting for me.. we had a great neighbourly trek, stopping at Hunter's fave spots along the way.
Muskoka, Megan, Ben, Belle, Princess, Molly & Lila were off to the lake on their afternoon romp... everyone got close to the water, Belle, Megan & Molly didn't waste anytime! Ben, Lila, Muskoka & Princess stayed along the shore watching the splashes & waiting for dry land frolics.
back at camp, we lazed outside before heading down to Marie Curtis for an early evening play session. the park was full and we met Bandit who joined the crew.

bea-uitful weekend!

our weekend at A Dog's Way camp was filled with sunny romps, relaxing cuddles & peaceful snoozes.. just ask the pooches!

spring is in the air!

this sunny morning, Cookie led Lincoln & Simon, followed closely behind by Dutch, Maddie & Harley. they were a well-behaved pack that made me smile :)
Hunter was delighted to meet Cookie for his midday stretch & walk.
Muskoka, Megan, Ben, Belle, Lila & Otto went to Marie Curtis for a sunny & warm afternoon trek. the sun beamed down on each pup's adventure.. Otto rolled around in the sand, while Lila looked on him curiously. Belle found balls around the park with Ben chasing behind. Megan basked in the sun while Muskoka made her way around the park for pets!
the pack of campers lounged on the deck, taking in the rays of sunshine! we spent an enjoyable afternoon outdoors.

the storm will wait!

this morning, Lily said 'bye' to the pack & Abby said 'hello' before the rest including Cookie, Simon, Lincoln, Dutch, Maddie & Harley, headed off to Marie Curtis. there wasn't enough going on in the park for Cookie, so she made adventures of her own! Simon & Lincoln tore around in circles after one another & were excited to find a soccer ball. Dutch chilled out, taking it easy amongst all the other pups. Maddie & Harley trailed behind me and didn't go too far.
Abby then joined Belle, Otto, Jasper & Megan at the lambton park. it was a peaceful & calm walk among the campfire smoke filled trails. the drifting smells brought on our summer love!
Dyte was a tuff gurl when a larger dog approached, letting him know who she thought was boss!
Jake & Dixie were pleasantly surprised to join their friends Odin, Muskoka, Oscar & Abby for an afternoon romp. we took advantage of the beauty day, thankful the rain hadn't joined us too! the trails were bare & made for an enjoyable stroll through west deane park.
back at camp, we chilled out with an outdoor afternoon snooze :)

lovin' my sunny, doggy life!

the sun was bright & warm as the pack woke up.. our morning was spent hanging out at camp.. we were all relaxed before heading out for a chillin walk. Cookie, Lincoln, Simon, Dutch, Lily & Harley were calm, cool & collected.. getting many praises along the way! :)
Hunter & Gwen were awake & waiting for a burst of sunshine! Hunter hit the streets & followed his nose, right to 'forbidden' piles =|
Odin, Muskoka, Molly, Ben, Belle & Lila were in the company of many other pooches at the park. all the pups did their own thing, but followed the circuit of the rest of the pack.
it was another beauty day.. awesome!

the campers headed out this morning for an active romp through the hood! Lincoln, Simon, Cookie & Harley led the pack while Dutch & Lily followed close behind.
Dora was relieved that she missed the rain showers today & enjoyed the spring-like temps.
Belle, Ben, Molly, Maddie, Lila & Muskoka went to the lake for some fun.. the rain started to come down but the pups raced around the rain drops, not bothered at all!

the snow fell heavily on Cookie, Nikki & Ben as we went for our morning run.. it was quite peaceful & serene, we had great big smiles across each of our faces.
Otto, Lila, Belle, Maddie & Muskoka walked the trails at west deane.. on our way in, the snow fell gracefully behind us and on the out, the sun beamed down on us!
Dutch was picked up for his camp visit and joined Nikki, Cookie, Ben & Harley at Marie Curtis. the wind pushed us around.. the dogs minus Harley, weren't phased one bit! on our active romp, we welcomed Simon & Lincoln to the pack. once back at camp, Lincoln & Cookie frolicked for another 2 hours straight! they couldn't get enough!

warm start to the day.. then cool & wet to end it!

as soon as my eyes opened this morning, Nikki's head was in my hand. ok, ok.. no snoozes! we enjoyed a laid back morning, taking it easy 'round camp. Marley.. er, I mean Abby helped herself to my avocado that was out for breakfast.. she shared some of it with me! we then headed out for a long hike. Cookie, Ben, Nikki, Abby & Harley were happy to feel the warm breeze that swept around us.
today, Dyte husseled! I've never seen her teeny tiny paws patter so quickly! she enjoyed her 'long distant' walk.
Otto, Odin, Oscar & Abby were welcomed with open paws at Marie Curtis. Otto was joined by other wee ones, who he made sure to sniff out. Odin was happy-go-lucky playing fetch, chuck-it style! Oscar was ecstatic to see a Dane friend, who frolicked with him until we had to pull each other apart when she was leaving. Abby went from chillin' with me & sniffing out newcomers, to chasin with Odin, then off to dominate Oscar, letting Luna the Dane know who's boss.
Muskoka, Megan, Jasper and Belle were next on the roster to join Abby on an afternoon romp. Muskoka was social, meeting all pups & their peeps.. laying around in between greetings. Megan was on the lookout, paying attention to everything going on around the park. Jasper was sporting a new 'do.. extra frisky in his frolics. Belle raced around the park, chasing a tennis ball while digging holes in the sand around them.. I chased after Belle, filling them back up!
back at camp, the pups enjoyed cuddles & pets to wrap up their day!

what a beautiful day in the neighbourhood!

Harley & Maeva awoke by the rays of sunshine in the room this morning.. shortly after, both basked on the sunny deck! Ben & Nikki were tuckered, but found their new found energies come walk time. the happy canine trio were warmed with the bright morn.
Gwen took no time rising after hitting the refreshing breeze. Hunter took it easy, strolling along to a different beat!
and then there was 3 Wheatons & a Bernese.. the m crew, Molly, Megan & Maddie burst out of the car full of Wheaton quirks.. Muskoka waited the crazy out, then joined the pack for an adventure filled walk full of racing & chasing, even a paw dip in the creek.
Cookie was ecstatic to be picked up for her stay at Camp A Dog's Way! she joined the other campers, along with Dutch, Odin, Lila and Belle at Marie Curtis park. Lincoln, friend of the pack, arrived at the park to stir the fun up.
the day was beautiful and we enjoyed perfect weather for perfect walks!! :)

a change of pace

the A Dog's Way campers started the day off on the right paw with a full energy sprint. we raced through the neighbourhood with an extra jump in our step.
Otto, Cookie, Belle, Jasper & Megan enjoyed their change of scenery with new paths & trails at the beach. we made a special stop into global pet foods to pick up extra tasty salmon treats.. what a delightful surprise for the pups!
Afrodyte was eager to move through her hood.. interested in checking out the midday scene.
Muskoka, Jake & Dixie were joined by Nikki, Ben & Harley for an afternoon romp.. we arrived at Marie Curtis, a jammed pack pup park. there were loads of friends to meet & frolic with! our group was vocal and made sure we were all known.. 'wake up park dwellers, the A Dog's Way gang has arrived!' and we followed it up by tearing it up!

harley & ben's awesome adventures

after a lazy morning, Harley & Ben buckled up to head out with all the packs today. the air was crisp but the sun was out to keep us company.. we're feeling spring in the air :) the boys jumped in the dogmobile to pick up the beauties that included Muskoka, Maddie, Molly & Megan. we trailed through west deane park enjoying the sights & sounds, the trails had to offer. next the boys joined Dutch, Belle & Lila for a lakeside stroll. we spanned across the boardwalk, keeping at a brisk pace. our last pick up was Hunter.. we puttered through the streets, stopping to sniff out their fave spots. we took our time.. having nowhere else to be!

the pack was off to a leisurely start today! Hunter was waiting when I arrived for our walk. we followed an ol' faithful route that we hadn't taken for awhile.. it was a nice change!
Pepper had the company of Lila & Otto.. happy to see pack friends!
Dutch, Lila, Otto, Megan, Maddie & Muskoka took over the paths at West Deane park.. we spanned out & all enjoyed a very happy walk! the dogs were on their most presentable behaviour :)
Belle, Ben, Maddie, Ferris, Rex & Sinclair wrapped up their day with a friendly frolic at Marie Curtis park. there were tons of friends out to play and plenty of tails to sniff!
