snow day!!

What a winter wonderland today was! Cookie & Cadbury began the day by frolicking in the freshly fallen snow. Harley was content to stay inside and watch them from his cozy spot.
Hunter, Casey, Dante & Gwen headed out for a 'business break' and to stretch their legs. Gwen & Casey headed inside early waiting for cuddle time with me. Hunter & Dante stayed to scout the yard, making sure to smell every corner. We all went inside and snuggled together to warm up. Even Hunter the cat, came for a cuddle.
Cookie & Cadbury took their wild energy and entertained Argus, Ben, Belle & Rocky at the creek. The pups tore around in the piles of snow, as the sheets of snowflakes fell around us. The group welcomed Belle back with open paws from her vacay. Ben & Argus chased her around.. Belle fell to the ground loving all the attention.
The snow was falling heavily, so we took our time from walk to walk. Muskoka couldn't be happier with all the snow! She lapped it up, making a trail ahead of her as she walked. She was full of energy and walked at a quick pace through the fields.
Bailey wasn't quite impressed with the falling snow, but he made his rounds stopping at his favourite trees along the way. Bapsi and Duncan were sweaters deep in snow. Their two bellies made tracks as they walked. Each dove face first into the white blanketed ground.
Harry, Joey, Otto, Jake & Dixie headed to Camp A Dog's Way for a romp in the yard. They all got out their sillies and took care of business before heading for a walk at a nearby park. Dixie was very playful trying to make friends with Otto.. Otto set her straight with his 'play rules'. Joey and Cookie were great playmates. They danced around in the snow. Jake played an intense game of fetch, while Harry watched for birds & squirrels.
