drizzly day

Harry, Belle. Otto, Lily, Darby and Emma entered the Etobicoke Creek full of energy. The pups went their separate ways to take care of 'business'. Muskoka met a friend in the field and romped around with him. She was happy to have the company. Hunter & Dante went for a long walk through their 'hood. They enjoyed the warmer weather!

trio of trouble

Sasha, Darby, Lily, Harry, Abby and Harley headed for a neighbourhood stroll making a errand stop to the bank. They all received lots of attention and got a special treat while visiting. Muskoka chased Abby around the fields, exhausting herself getting ready for a nap. We had an eventful and extra long walk at High Park. The trio of yellow labs.. Belle, Abby and Joey tore around the park getting into many 'adventures'. The triplets were stopped by many along the trails. Argus and Dutch joined the trio with bursts of energy ready for a chase. After almost 4 hours at the park, the pups sprawled out on the ride home.

Argus, Joey, Otto, Cookie, Darby and Lily made their own journeys through the creek. Each took turns playing with each other while walking through the trails.

post-holiday bellies

Joey and Dutch joined Cookie, Lily, Sasha and Darby at High Park. We had the company of another pack and met lots of new dogs on our way. We took our time through the trails full with our post-holiday bellies.

Merry Christmas!!

Cookie, Harry, Ursus, Eiger, Lily, Sasha and Harley headed up north to wander and venture in acres of land covered in snow. All were very happy!! The pups enjoyed the special treats and new toys that Santa had left... all making sure to stay on the 'nice' list.

Otto, Joey, Belle, Ben, Cookie & Lily headed to the Creek for an extra long romp. The pups each had adventures of their own and not one wanted to leave.
Hunter & Dante took their time during our leisurely stroll. The sun began to peak from the overcast skies.

Our pack consisted of pups of all sizes, from the tiny paws to big paws... all in the same!

Santa Dixie

Belle, Rocky, Ben & Argus went for an extra trek through the creek. The scenery was picturesque and the pups were as happy as can be. At rock beach, I sat on the rocks to be close for pup cuddles. Muskoka found a fresh trail to lap up snow. Joey, Otto, Harry, Jake and Dixie visited with Zok, Cookie, Lily and Harley before heading for out for their walk. The afternoon was calm and all pups were on their best behaviour. Dixie was festive in her santas best friend oufit.. she lit up the group! Hunter & Dante went for a long loop through their hood.

Pablo, Salvador, Abby, Cookie, Lily & Harley went for an active romp through the creek. We took our time and visited all trails throughout. Muskoka chased around Abby through the field.. the two were full of play. Argus, Molly, Ben, Belle, Dutch and Abby took to the trails at High Park. Our walk was filled with lots of fun and frolicks. Bapsi headed to the groomers, for a new Christmas 'do.

and then there was one..

Pablo, Salvador and Harley toughed out the colder weather and enjoyed an active walk through the Etobicoke Creek. Tula & Cookie became great playmates after a morning full of playful romps and a 'meet & greet' at the park. Otto, Argus, Belle, Rocky and Dutch went to High Park for a peaceful walk through the trails and along Spring Road. Despite our efforts, Dutch finished the walk with one booty left on. One even became the object of chase for Belle and Argus. Otto & Rocky stayed closeby... Otto as my shadow and Rocky by my side.

there's the sun!

Argus, Molly, Ben, Belle & Dutch trekked through the snow at High Park. Argus, Ben & Belle were a trio of chase. Molly joined in at her leisure. Everyone knows Dutch! He is well known at all our local parks. Today, he sported his new boots.. even managed to keep 2 on for the whole walk.
Muskoka ran through the snow with her mouth wide open. Her legs are longer & stronger than ever and are keeping her moving.
Joey, Harry, Jake, Dixie, Cookie and Cadbury took a tour through the creek. We met another energy-filled pack and the pups tore around. Joey & Cookie stayed close to one another, turning to each other for a romp here and there. Harry leaned on the humans that we passed by at the park. Jake found a log that he insisted someone throw and carried it through the park for our whole walk. I thought he was going to bring it home. Dixie went from group to group bouncing around as she visited.

snow day!!

What a winter wonderland today was! Cookie & Cadbury began the day by frolicking in the freshly fallen snow. Harley was content to stay inside and watch them from his cozy spot.
Hunter, Casey, Dante & Gwen headed out for a 'business break' and to stretch their legs. Gwen & Casey headed inside early waiting for cuddle time with me. Hunter & Dante stayed to scout the yard, making sure to smell every corner. We all went inside and snuggled together to warm up. Even Hunter the cat, came for a cuddle.
Cookie & Cadbury took their wild energy and entertained Argus, Ben, Belle & Rocky at the creek. The pups tore around in the piles of snow, as the sheets of snowflakes fell around us. The group welcomed Belle back with open paws from her vacay. Ben & Argus chased her around.. Belle fell to the ground loving all the attention.
The snow was falling heavily, so we took our time from walk to walk. Muskoka couldn't be happier with all the snow! She lapped it up, making a trail ahead of her as she walked. She was full of energy and walked at a quick pace through the fields.
Bailey wasn't quite impressed with the falling snow, but he made his rounds stopping at his favourite trees along the way. Bapsi and Duncan were sweaters deep in snow. Their two bellies made tracks as they walked. Each dove face first into the white blanketed ground.
Harry, Joey, Otto, Jake & Dixie headed to Camp A Dog's Way for a romp in the yard. They all got out their sillies and took care of business before heading for a walk at a nearby park. Dixie was very playful trying to make friends with Otto.. Otto set her straight with his 'play rules'. Joey and Cookie were great playmates. They danced around in the snow. Jake played an intense game of fetch, while Harry watched for birds & squirrels.

brrrr...cold day!!

The weather was bitter today but didn't seem to stop Abby, Dutch, Ben, Molly, Argus, Muskoka, Cookie or Cadbury. The pups were full of energy and played freely, happy as can be. Harley and Bailey did not care for the cold weather at all. Both were happy when they returned home to a warm, comfy spot.

Attention pups!

This morning.. Harley, Cookie and Cadbury headed down to the Beach to enjoy a change of scenery. After our walk, we visited the Distellery District to attend Lowe's Toronto Christmas Market. The pooches were on their best behaviour and turned heads the whole time.

'the dog day is over'

Cookie arrived at Camp A Dog's Way and greeted Prada & Harley with an early morning play. At the Creek.. Joey, Harry, Otto, Buddy and Sammy made their way through the trails. Joey made sure to meet every dog in the park. Harry looked for attention from each passerbyer. Otto got playful when a round of chase grazed by him. He jumped in for the fun! Buddy did his own things while Sammy stayed close to him rolling around in the brush.
Argus, Ben and Rocky jumped in the car joining Cookie, Prada and Harley for a trip to High Park. We tagged along with another pack and each pup found their favourite playmate.

Sweater Weather

Hunter, Casey, Dante, Gwen & Hunter the cat gathered around taking turns for lots of cuddles and attention. It was a great way to kick off the day.
Prada arrived dressed to impress. Her new pink plaid jacket was a hit at the park. Harley, Pablo & Salvador dressed up warmly too before heading to the creek. The tiny pup crew made their way through the creek moving along to keep warm.
Muskoka rolled around in the snow and grass, taking breaks between her full energy spurts.
Harry, Dutch, Molly, Argus & Ben jumped out of the car in all directions looking for their first pee spot. The pups frolicked around with each other while on the move. Each pooch found a twig along our travels, taking it in their mouth to play.
Bapsi & I agreed...our lake walk was bitter!

breezy day

Harley bundled up in layers ready to spend the day with mum & pups.
Argus, Rocky & Ben headed down a new trail near west deane park. Ben's nose was glued to the ground tracing the scents. The gang joined Muskoka for her outing...she sniffed them out following closely behind. She was after Argus's ears trying to get him to play. Rocky kept his distance from puppy.
Watson sported his super retro jacket while Duncan showed off his new cut.
Joey, Otto, Harry, Jake & Dixie headed to the lake. Dixie was excited to meet all of Jake's friends and was on her bestest behaviour. Jake played fetch while the others ran about getting out their crazies. Great fun!!
Hunter & Dante were excited for their walk but stayed calm while we spent time with Casey & Gwen. Brrr...we bundled up well and braved the evening chill.

Winter has arrived...

This morning brought a winter wonderland for the pups. At the Creek... Abby, Pablo and Harley celebrated Salvador's birthday with him. The A Dog's Way pack left a special tasty treat and cupcake plushy toy for Salvador to indulge in. Pablo took the 'dog walker express' at times, to warm up during our walk. Abby was finding all the sticks at the park, encouraging the others to grab an end.
Muskoka had her first real experience with snow this morning, she thought it was the greatest thing ever! Along our walk, she lapped up the snow as she bounced through the field.
Cookie, Molly, Argus, Ben, Dutch and Abby were a happy, cohesive pack through High Park. The energy amongst the group walk was just perfect.. the sun even peaked out in time for us. Cookie and Abby frolicked through the air excitedly playing with one another. Molly went from the groomers to the park today, showing off her freshly cut 'do and still managed to stay clean. Argus picked out the snowballs from his paws along our trek. Dutch took breaks to lie down on the blanketed ground of snow. The perfect pups were full of life and we couldn't have had a better walk.
Bapsi and Watson stayed away from the salt while heading out to dog trail nearby. Bapsi dove face first into the snow while Watson explored the many scents.

furry friends

Pablo, Salvador, Otto, Brady and Harley took their travels to the creek. Brady was full of energy looking for a game of fetch.. he rolled over and was spinning at my feet, encouraging more play. Otto and Harley walked around sniffing out the other pups at the park. Pablo and Salvador tiptoed around the trails, taking special care avoiding muddy paws.
Bailey took me down a different path, changing up our route by the lake. Watson wagged his tail when he saw Bapsi greeting him at the door. Both took it easy while out.
Dutch, Rocky and Argus took their treks to the lake. The afternoon was bright and the scenery was picturesque! The pups and I enjoyed the sights and had a great walk.

I took time with each pup today, giving out lots of cuddles and pets. It made us all very happy!  :)

just in time, the sun jig at the park brightened the skies

Darby, Nikki & Harley went for an adventurous trek through the neighbourhood. We walked along to the beat of our own drums. Muskoka & I played chased.. she was playful as we ran through the fields. She dropped to the ground, but got bursts of energy for each round. Joey, Brady, Argus, Molly, Ben and Dutch headed to the lake for a romp. The pack exploded out of the car at full speed, most exploring these grounds for the first time. We headed off-leash with the chuck-it in hand. All the pups followed closely as we walked around taking turns with fetching. Brady was on the ball.. he made it first most of the time. Argus took advantage when he got it and played around with it before bringing it back. Ben barked just about the whole time we were out, he had lots to say. He chased Brady and Argus full force. When Dutch got the ball, it was game over! Joey strayed from the pack.. playing fetch with the other pups at the park. Molly chased the others around while eating up my attention. We did a 'sun' jig.. and watched as it peaked from behind the clouds.. just in time. Watson was tired after his walk around the lake. He sauntered back in ready for a nap.

imitation is the greatest form of flattery

Otto, Harry, Joey, Ben, Rocky and Argus took a walk through the muddy trails at the creek. I was prepared and brought rain jackets for all pups, but the rain slowed.. very comfortable to walk in without. Two more packs arrived at the park and made for an adventure for each pooch. Muskoka was very active and followed many scents. Quickly, she grows & grows each day. Bailey, Duncan and Watson each made their stops to take care of business while out for walks lakeside. The waves were crashing and the sounds were calming. It got warmer as the day progressed. Jake howled in excitement when I arrived. Dixie sat watching nearby in the yard, howling alongside. Soon, Dixie will 'little sister' her way into the pack meeting all of Jake's friends. Jake was happy to explore Hunter & Dante's neighbourhood. He smelled the new area and led the pups on a good trek. He picked up the crew at Camp A Dog's Way.. Nikki, Darby and Harley. It was picturesque at the waterfront and soothed us all for the walk ahead. We travelled along the beach and trails at Marie Curtis Park, finishing with a gander through the streets.

good mondays

Abby headed over early morn for a romp with Nikki, Darby and Lucky. They frolicked in the yard, rolling around on the deck. The blue crew picked up Pablo and Salvador on the way to the creek. The bright sun was melting away the cooler weather left over from this weekend. We stayed for an hour and a half enjoying the sunshine and warm air.. there won't be many days left like this! Abby wasn't tired just yet, so she tagged along with Harry, Ben, Dutch, Molly, Argus and Cookie to High Park. We had a dog lover friend keep us company for the walk. The A Dog's Way pack was alive and playful making their presence known to their fellow park goers. All were on their bestest behaviour and made me proud  :)

acres of fun

Belle, Prada, Lucky, Wedge, Harley and Zok headed up north for the day to explore unknown acres of land. The pups were excited approaching our destination.. they bounded out ready for a day of fun.

windy wees

Sammy & Belle and Prada & Harley romped around all morning. The petite pups.. Buddy, Sammy, Brady, Otto, Pablo and Salvador, were happy to be in each others company. Dutch took Argus & Rocky for a tour in his 'hood. Grabbed a coffee at cherry bomb, one of the best cups in t.o.. before heading for a brisk lake walk. On their potty break, Bapsi opened the flood gates while Watson's wee strayed in the wind.

"What happens when they see a squirrel..?"

I say "run squirrel, run!" People always ask me when I have the pups on-leash walks.. "What happens when they see a squirrel?" The pooches are very interested, sure.. but I stay calm and say "run squirrel, run!" The dogs enjoy watching the squirrels run about while on our walks, especially when they're off-leash.. then, it's fair game! Today, Hunter & Dante headed out for an early morning stroll. We took our time and listened to the sounds of morn. Argus, Ben, Rocky, Joey picked up Harry and trotted along to Colonel Samuel off-leash area. The pups had the park to themselves when we arrived and all had a good run. Belle joined the pack and headed to Camp A Dog's Way for the weekend. Otto, Brady, Prada and Harley were less than impressed with the cool misty weather, but kept moving and kept warm. Belle and Sammy were not phased at all. They encouraged Brady to romp around with them. Bailey, Bapsi & Duncan enjoyed their lakeside strolls.

brrr...winter is around the corner

Prada was dropped off at Camp A Dog's Way.. & was incredibly excited to see Harley, they danced and were merry. She then joined Pablo, Salvador, Sammy, Molly and Argus at the Creek. We stayed an extra long time because the sun was strong and the pups were loving socializing with all their friends at the park. Muskoka followed closely behind Molly and Argus while walking through the field. She was very interested and encouraged to walk on leash. Bailey was happy-go-lucky out and about on his route. He made sure to stop at every post and tree to mark them. Ben, Joey, Belle and Dutch headed to the Humber Bay Shores Park West off-leash park to blow off energy and then trekked along the trails beside the lake. Ben was squirrely and wanted lots of attention. Dutch met a pup at the park that he enjoyed chasing around. Joey and Belle were on poop patrol.. goose poop! I kept them away along the path. Bapsi and Watson went for a long walk each stopping at their fave spots.

14 to 0 degrees

The day started sunny and warm. Sammy, Harley, Argus, Ben, Belle and Rocky enjoyed the great weather at the creek.. we headed out early and stayed extra long to make sure. At mid-day, Muskoka and Duncan watched the clouds and cool roll in. This passing weather continued for Sammy, Joey and Harry to play. Dixie wore her cone proud, healing very well from her recent spay. I tried to keep Jake quiet while he alarmed the neighbourhood when I arrived.. Dixie was hearing it in surround sound. Jake, Otto, Sammy, Joey and Harry followed with a long walk. They were pooped after their outings. By the end of the day, it was windy and cold for Bapsi, Hunter and Dante. 

happy for warm weather and only mist

Abby stormed in this morning looking for a pup to play with. She was disappointed, but still tried.. when Harley warned her to bugger off. Pablo and Salvador joined the duo for a clean but wet walk. Muskoka followed around Abby nose to tail through the field. She was excited for the company during her outing. Cookie, Argus, Molly, Ben, Belle and Dutch made a dreary day bright! The pack was full of energy and tons of fun. Cookie was on squirrel patrol and bounded through the park with a watchful eye. Argus met a poodle friend and the two frolicked along the trails. Ben kept on Belle today, following her close behind. He was very interested in the chase. Belle took an opportunity to b-line down to the water on our way out and returned very proud of herself. Still managed to keep her clean and from rolling in the dirt. Dutch was attracted to a very lovely dane. He tried to make friends but was very pushy in his approach. Bapsi and Watson got caught in the momentary rain. It didn't stop the two from taking care of business.

end of the week

Pablo, Salvador, Otto, Cape and Harley headed to the Creek for a walk. Pablo and Salvador stayed to the outside of the trails, keeping their paws clean. Otto and Cape were social with the other pups at the park. Harley stayed far from a playful puppy looking for a chase. Cookie was happy to reunite with old friends. She joined Argus, Belle, Ben, Rocky and Dutch for a 5K trek at Humber Bay Shores Park East. Duncan took in the fresh air while taking care of business on his afternoon outing.

finally found it!

Bapsi was in such a comfy spot when I arrived, she didn't want to move.. I didn't blame her! Cape, Harley, Argus, Rocky, Belle and Ben sniffed out a new off-leash area near Mill Road. They met new friends and were ready for a leashed walk to follow. Muskoka was full of fall fun! She rolled around in the leaves as a playfully puppy. Harry, Joey, Otto, Harley and Cape were excited that I finally found the Humber Bay Shores Park West off-leash area. We headed in to take care of 'business' and burn off energy before a walk by the lake. When we arrived it was hailing.. poor Otto and Harley (they were less than impressed), but by the time we left the sun was trying to peak out from behind the clouds. Bapsi found her same comfy spot and was sleeping there when I returned for another walk.

wind tunnels all around

Joey, Belle, Dutch, Ben, Molly and Argus trekked through the trails at the creek. Joey and Belle ran side by side bounding around the pack. Ben, Molly and Argus joined the duo through the forrest in a great chase. Ben mediated the group following closely behind beagle barking while Molly and Argus came out covered in burrs. Dutch greeted each new pup with a close up 'woof''. The A Dog's Way pack was happy to play with other packs at the park. Muskoka bounced around in the leaves and picked up sticks along the way. Bailey almost got blown over while out for his walk. The wind was intense off of the lake. Pablo and Salvador greeted Cape and Harley for a neighbourhood stroll. The boys were excited to venture out and mark their territory along our walk. Bapsi was treat obsessed, with a nose for leftover treats.

windy walks

Argus, Ben, Belle and Rocky explored many trails through West Deane Park. Muskoka chased leaves blowing in the wind and was tuckered after her run home. Duncan took his time stopping to sniff every step or two along his walk. Otto, Joey, Harry, Jake, Cape and Harley headed to the creek to race off their energy. Dixie was bouncing with excitement chasing Jake around the yard before she stopped to piddle. Bapsi staggered with the wind almost blowing her off the ground. Hunter and Dante braved the drizzle and mild wind on our evening stroll.

a case of 'the mondays'

Abby, Pablo, Salvador, Cape and Harley headed to the creek bright and early. Abby, Salvador and Cape took part in a competitive yet sharing game of fetch. Each took turns getting the ball.. Salvador was more interested in the chase, running back and forth with the others. We actually managed to keep the ball for our entire outing, it is usually lost within minutes.
Abby welcomed Muskoka, a wee bernese mtn dog pup. During our visit, we walked the fields with Muskoka following closely behind Abby, watching how well she walked on leash. Muskoka did her business and was pooped after being out for a half hour.. she was ready for a nap when she returned home.
Bailey watched the clouds roll in over the lake. He happily strut his stuff, getting attention from passing by people. They told him how cute he was!
At High Park, the pack had a case of 'the mondays'. Ben, Molly, Argus, Belle, Dutch and Abby took off with full energy. Dutch tired first while the other pups bounced around the whole time. At one point, Belle and Molly went for an adventure of their own.. through the forest, down by Spring Road. Soon, Ben, Argus and Abby joined in, interested in the chase. Fun day!

We love Cesar!

All weekend long.. Harley, Cape, Abby, Hunter and Rocky were tuned in to The Dog Whisperer marathon, taking breaks to hit the street and even made a trip to Ashbridges Bay for a walk.

grey skies turned blue turned to fog..?

Hunter and Dante had a good stretch before hitting the streets. The skies were grey..
We had the Etobicoke Creek to ourselves for our walk. Pablo, Salvador, Argus, Dutch, Belle and Otto spread over the grounds exploring solo. The skies were blue and the sun was shining..
Bapsi and Watson were happy to see each other and enjoyed one anothers company on their outing. The air was filled with fog..
Rocky joined Harley and Cape at Camp A Dog's Way and is looking forward to a fun-filled weekend.

Happy Remembrance Day

The pups and I took a moment of silence to remember those who fought for our freedom, our thoughts went out to many.
Harry and Cape looked over the little pups Buddy, Sammy, Otto and Harley as we walked through the Etobicoke Creek. Harry made sure to visit with and lean on the park visitors while Cape made sure to romp over to each visiting pooch. Buddy took his time sniffing out the park while Sammy rolled through the bush, sometimes disguising herself amongst the foliage. Otto was my shadow and followed me closely each step I took.
At High Park.. Joey, Argus, Ben, Belle and Rocky took dog hill by storm. The pups were bounding with energy, very playful and social with the other pooches at the park. The pack played so hard through the trails they were exhausted on the way home. Each had found their comfy spot to lay until their stop.
Watty took care of business right away. We went for a slow walk enjoying the afternoon sunshine.

warm weather in november...lucky us!

Cape was dropped off at Camp A Dog's Way this morning.. he came bolting out of the car excited for his visit. He joined Harley, Pablo, Salvador, Molly and Argus at the Creek. Harley heard a siren at the park and howled alerting all the pups. Pablo and Salvador were full of wagging tails happy to be walking the trails. Molly and Cape went for a swim.. Molly took a quick dip while Cape spent his time trying to fish buried sticks in the water. Argus got the others riled up, trying to get them to play.
Watson and Bapsi headed out for their midday stretch while the sun shined bright. Both were happy to have each others company on their outing.
Joey, Belle, Ben, Dutch and Jake walked the paths through the Humber Bay Shores Park. The pups were curious, wanting to meet all the other pups out for their walks. There were lots of people and pooches by the lake and kept everyone on their paws.

sunny 20 K

The A Dog's Way pack walked just under 20 K enjoying the sunny day.
Hunter and Dante headed out first thing in the morning. The air was fresh and the pups scouted the scene.
Duncan and Bailey took turns out and about by the lake. Duncan didn't go too far, but took his time smelling his fave spots around. Bailey walked the path lakeside looking onto the crisp water.
Argus, Belle, Ben and Rocky couldn't be more excited to explore new grounds walking the trails alongside the Humber River. There were lots of new sights to see and scents to smell. People commented how calm and well-behaved the bunch were.
Our late afternoon stroll at the creek was a good one! Harry, Joey, Jake, Harley and Otto were filled with energy. We came across a bouncy beagle and Joey, Jake & Otto engaged in a round of chase. I was surprised to see Otto soo interested in this pup. He was very happy! Joey and Jake found a huge log in the water and tried to transport it as far as they could.. both finally gave up. Harry had to have a creek bath after finding a 'special spot'. He took well to the bath and scrub down. thanks goodness!

extra long walk day

Fergie and Harley prepared for a day o' walks. They tagged along with Ben, Pablo and Salvador at the creek. Fergie was on an adventure of her own. Pablo and Salvador stuck nearby stopping to smell their favourite spots. On our way out, Ben found a spot to roll in. After calling him to me, I found out his spot was a very smelly one... we had to head home between walks for a scrub down.
At High Park.. Belle, Molly and Argus chased each other around in circles at dog hill. Dutch smelled soooo good, all the pups noticed! Fergie and Harley hung out with me, tired from their earlier escapades.
Watson showed off his new hair cut. He was happy to have a short cut to keep away the burrs.

mucky trails

Zok, Ben and Harley took off first thing and headed out on an adventure. The paths were mucky but we didn't mind! Argus, Olive, Belle, Rocky, Dutch and Otto hit up High Park. Rocky and Otto stayed close to me while the others ventured out on a wild chase.

where's the sun..?

Harry, Joey, Argus, Olive, Belle and Rocky ran wild at the Etobicoke Creek. They met pups along the way and each enjoyed their own adventure. Ben, Buddy, Sammy, Otto, Harley and Zok took care of business as soon as they hit the grass and found their spot. The sun was trying to peak out while we were out, but stayed behind the clouds. Watty made his rounds taking his time to sniff out each spot he stopped. Hunter and Dante hit the streets just before sunset. They worked up a sweat to make room for dinner.

bright, sunny day

The sun was shining bright and the pups were happy. Bailey stopped at every tree along the way to take a sniff. Pablo and Salvador showed off their great new hair cuts and strutted their stuff on their outing with Duncan, Bapsi and Watson. Belle took off with my glove, encouraging Olive and Ben to chase her. Argus and Molly attracted the burrs while frolicking in the bush. Dutch greeted each new dog with a forward frisk. Joey made lots of new friends, making sure to say hi to each new dog. Otto went for a walk in the rain this evening.

Abby stormed into the yard, happily greeting Nikki her fave pal from the weekend. The two tore around the place just stopping for a quick drink. Otto, Zok and Harley joined the pups for a lap.
At the park.. Belle, Dutch, Ben, Olive, Molly and Argus took in the sunshine. The bunch were full of energy from the treats this weekend and ran it all off. Watson took his time on his lakeside stroll.

Happy Hallowe'en!!

The pups trick-or-treated.. some pulling tricks out while others indulged in treats. Hope the pups enjoy their treat bags filled with All Natural, made with organic ingredients also wheat & grain free treats. happy hallowe'en!

fun frolicks

Argus, Ben, Belle and Rocky jumped in the car ready to go.. Joey took a little convincing from the others.. on their way to meet Harry for a walk in his hood. We trailed through to Colonel Samuel Park and hit up the off-leash area. Rocky and Ben scanned the fences along the perimeter. Belle played ball tug-o-war with a fellow park mate, Fergus. Joey was happy to meet new friends.. she was especially attracted to the smaller pups. Argus played with a frisbee while Harry tried to make his own fun with other pooches and me.
Buddy and Sammy joined Harley and Otto for a pup playdate. The pack took care of business right away and stayed close to one another during our outing. Bailey, Bapsi and Watson were tossed around by the wind. The sun was peaking out through the dark clouds above the lake. Hunter and Dante made sure to finish their dinner before taking a cruise through the fields.
Nikki, a black lab, has settled in quite nicely her first night visiting Camp A Dog's Way. Lincoln came over to visit and the two enjoyed ruff play. Maeva, the cat, hid out downstairs while the others romped.

At the Etobicoke Creek, Argus and Molly led the gang through the trails. We hung out with another pack during our walk, the pups had many playmates. Harley, Otto, Pablo and Salvador tippytoed along the side of the muddy trails from yesterdays rain.
Ben, Belle, Dutch, Harry and Joey took a lakeside stroll over the bicycle bridge, through the desolate butterfly habitat and around Humber Bay Shores Park. The sun was warm.. the pooches and I were too after our trek.
Bapsi and Watson almost blew away with the strong winds by the lake.

another no rain day.. yet!

We were lucky the rain spared us again today. Harley was worried after watching the weather update this morning. Hunter and Dante started their trek through the neighbourhood by taking care of business. They struted their stuff in the school yard smelling every corner along the way.
At High Park.. Ben was busy digging holes at every chance he could. Harry riled the group up with his crazy antics. Joey and Belle paired together and tore around initiating chase with other pooches. Off leash, Rocky was free and excited to meet pups and their people. Jake was full of energy taking time to play with his fave dogs along the trails. Back at home, Jake confidently passed by Dixie letting her smell the scents of the pack.
Otto and Harley got lots of attention on their walk. During our stop at the bank, the pups were spoiled with treats and pets.

rain held off, thank goodness!

Besides a few spits here and there, the rain held off.. thank goodness!
Bapsi was waiting at the door all ready to head out for her walk and to release the flood.
Abby led the petite pups.. Otto, Harley, Pablo and Salvador along the lakeside trails at Humber Bay Shores Park. Argus, Molly, Ben, Belle, Dutch and Abby tore onto dog hill turning all the other pups heads. Dutch was getting a brush on dog hill but quickly got distracted, interested in another pup. On the trails.. Belle, Abby, Molly and Ben veered off for a wild chase. The pups even hit Spring Road for a dip on their adventure. Dutch and Argus were perfect pooches and stayed close.

Howl-o-ween Pup Party

The pups had a blast at the Howl-o-ween Pup Party we attended today. Navigator got into the spirit with a Hallowe'en bandana. Harley won best costume dressed as an army dude. Buddy was a pumpkin, Sammy a ladybug, Roxy a butterfly, Rudy a bat, and Otto as dogzilla. The pups showed off their tricks, bobbed for weiners and enjoyed yummy dog cake. The pack brought some home for Hershey who sat the party out. Good fun!

official end of kilometer week

Bapsi, Pablo, Salvador, Joey, Belle, Dutch, Rocky, Ben, Argus and Watson have no idea how many kilometers were walked. The pedometer found its way into the creek today, but Belle managed to save it. However, the water damage still took its toll and the device stopped tracking our distance. That marked the official end to kilometer week.
Harley and Otto are getting leashed up and ready to head out for a neighbourhood cruise. Both are looking forward to a Howl-o-ween Party they both will be attending tomorrow. Hershey is happy to sit both out  :)

Harley, Otto, Hunter, Dante, Bapsi, Bailey, Belle, Rocky, Ben, Argus, Buddy, Sammy, Joey, Baxter, Harry and Watty combined walked 15.33 kms through the neighbourhoods in Mississauga & Etobicoke, and the trails at Humber Bay Shores Park, James Gardens & Lambton Woods, and Colonel Samuel Smith Park.

The A Dog's Way pack including Bapsi, Pablo, Salvador, Belle, Dutch, Ben, Molly, Argus, Watson, Jake, Dixie, Otto, Harley and Hershey walked 10.04 km today.

Day #2

Thus far, amongst the chase abouts, race arounds and paths walked.. Harley, Otto, Bapsi, Hunter, Dante, Harry, Argus, Rocky, Belle, Ben, Joey, Jake, Watson and Hershey approximately walked 16kms. On Harley and Otto's last walk, the pedometer was lost. The last checked total was 15.89 km. I'll be heading out to replace it for tomorrow's count. stay tuned!

Kilometer Week

This week the A Dog's Way pack will be tracking our kilometers. Today.. Abby, Bapsi, Pablo, Salvador, Brady, Molly, Argus, Baxter, Ben, Belle, Dutch, Watty, Keisha, Otto and Harley collectively walked 12.1 km. Great job!

It's the little moments that make it all worth it! Over the weekend.. between all the busy pup times, I sat down in the middle of it all and loved every minute. The pooches surrounded me and I watched the interactions and little quirks of each dog.
This morning.. Harley, Keisha, Hunter, Otto and Lexi took off on a neighbourhood wander. We took in the fresh air and sunshine. Ursus, Eiger, Molly, Lexi and Harley headed to the creek for an afternoon dip. Each made their way into the water and ran in circles chasing each other afterwards.

windy city!

Today, the wind off of the lake pushed Bapsi, Bailey and I around. While out & about, each of the pups had their fur blown outta place.
At the Creek.. the planes were flying overhead. Brady was occupied the whole time with fetch, while Argus joined in the chase every now and then. Keisha took in the rays while Harley stayed closeby. Otto was vocal today, he saw or heard something that none of the other pups noticed. Pablo and Salvador attracted burrs when they got too close to the trails edge.
High Park was full of energy today.. Rocky had all the puppies coming to see him and submissively surrendering to be sniffed out. Baxter got very friendly with a shepherd mix at dog hill, the two frolicked about. Belle hunted.. laying low to the ground as another dog approached from far. Dutch was happy to take turns with the ball, dropping it after awhile and Belle scooping it back up.
The late day wind was enough to set Watson's 'stream' off course, it followed in the direction of the wind.

Harry, Baxter, Argus, Ben, Belle and Rocky took over the boardwalk as they walked. At one point, they had to steer off the path to avoid a film shoot. We were lucky for this walk.. the rain only started as we were returning from our outing.
Buddy, Sammy, Brady and Otto enjoyed each others pup company. Brady and Otto had a good round of fetch going as Buddy and Sammy watched. We drove around looking for one of the newest off-leash areas by the lake. We had no luck and instead headed to Humber Bay Shores to walk lakeside. The rain had slowed by the time we arrived  :)
Hunter and Dante took Harley and Keisha around their neighbourhood, sharing their fave spots to sniff out.

Perfect timing to hit the Creek. The other walkers were out and we had company. Pablo, Salvador, Brady, Molly and Argus had a great time socializing.
Driving into High Park, we spotted a white squirrel crossing the street.. how rare! Ben, Belle, Dutch, Jake, Harley and Keisha stormed into dog hill and then hit the trails.

The pack & I had the park all to ourselves today! The other walkers were on their way out, when we were headed in. Harry, Baxter, Belle, Rocky, Ben and Argus were full of energy! The gang tore around the park hitting every corner. We took an extra long trail up to the rock.. the pups loved exploring the new grounds.
Watson greeted me wagging his tail, ready to scout & sniff out the scene.
Jake, Otto, Gator, Keisha, Sasha and Harley followed the path along the creek from Marie Curtis Park. It was very peaceful.. the birds were singing and leaves were falling as the pups happily pranced along. Dixie was super excited to see me, she didn't want me to leave with Jake.
Casey and Hunter saw me first, greeting me at the gate. The beagles sounded 'their' alarms letting the neighbourhood know it was walk time. Dante joined Hunter on a neighbourhood journey as the sun set.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Bapsi walked lakeside enjoying the wafts of thanksgiving turkey in the air. Back on the home front.. Ursus and Eiger helped me garden while Keisha watched on. Gator in the gazebo. After a few hours outdoors, the pups and I leashed up and headed out for a walk. Great time! Now, the dogs picked their spots to curl up and are all napping closeby.

acres to roam

When Ursus and Eiger joined the pack, we headed up north to play for the day in acres of land. The sun was shining and the pups enjoyed an afternoon of rest and relaxation. Keisha frolicked with the boys, Ursus and Eiger taking breaks in between to lie in the shade under great big trees. Sasha, Gator and Harley found comfy spots to lay down or wandered around taking in the new scents.

Cottage Day

Dixie and Jake joined Gator, Sasha, Keisha and Harley for a long stroll before heading home to await their parents arrival. Afterwards, the other pups got comfy and enjoyed a roadtrip up to the cottage. When we arrived, they happily jumped out of the car to meet Diesel, Hershey and Motown. Harley welcomed the pups with open paws to one of his favourite hangouts, the cottage. They each made their own fun.. Gator and Motown hung out in the shallow water wandering along the shore or playing with a deflated basketball. Sasha was adventurous making sure she scoped out the whole place, not missing anything. Keisha was happy to see her family and stayed close during the visit. The ride home was quiet, all pooches were quite exhausted after a long and lovely day. Happy tails!!

long weekend ahead

Gator, Harley, Dixe and Jake were full of beans this morning.. a good long walk was just what they needed. Bapsi and Bailey took different paths around the lake. Pablo, Salvador and Otto tiptoed around the caterpillars that blocked the trails. Baxter swam back and forth in the creek. Argus bounced around and even enjoyed 'my' snack after his walk. With a coffee in hand, the pups and I walked the trails through High Park. Rocky went off-leash and was on his bestest behaviour with all park friends. Belle rolled around in the dirt at dog hill while Dutch swiped a tennis ball from another dog. Ben was happy to see familiar faces at the park.. he made sure to stop and say hi. Watson made it outside the gates before his pee trail began.

a wonderful day, all around

Gator, Jake, Dixie and Harley watched the planes fly overhead during their morning stroll. Bapsi woke up to the bright morning sun! Argus, Kaya, Belle and Rocky headed for some off-leash time in the ravine. After a romp, the pups walked the trails leading to James Garden. The leaves were falling all around us. At the creek.. Buddy, Sammy, Baxter, Otto and Harry hung out close to the water and adventured through the trails. Watty took the lakeside path for a breath of fresh air. Hunter and Dante were happy while out and about. Both took care of business before heading in for the night. Casey and Gwen joined the boys for a cuddle. Lincoln tagged along with Jake, Dixie, Gator and Harley down to the etobicoke creek. There were lots of pups out to play. Lincoln and Jake played fetch while Gator and Dixie watched from the sidelines. Harley ventured on his own to smell the new turf.

no rain, yay!

Bapsi and Duncan felt the light drizzle on their coats as they wandered around the field.
Pablo, Salvador, Harry, Gator, Jake and Harley had a good run at the Creek. Pablo and Salvador stuck close to one another as they explored the trails. Harry had a bout of the crazies, then directed his energy racing around in circles. Gator found another lab, Harley to chase around. They really seemed to like each other. Jake was the social one of the group, taking time to play with all the other pups at the park. Harley kept focus on me, very receptive to every word I said.
At High Park.. Kaya, Argus, Joey, Belle, Molly and Dutch formed a tight pack walking through the park. The trails were lined with fallen leaves as the pups ran through them.
Watson enjoyed the picturesque view over the lake. The sun, clouds and water were beautiful!
Dixie led Jake, Harry, Gator and Harley around the neighbourhood. The pups are now tuckered after a long walk.

reduced muddy paws

The A Dog's Way packs took the routes, trails and paths that reduced muddy paws. Despite the day of rain, the pups managed to stay relatively clean with slightly damp coats. Some of the pups preferred to splash about in the puddles, I joined   :)

Harry, Abby, Gator and Harley headed out early for a neighbourhood stroll. People looked on at how adorable they all were. Bapsi was brief this morning, taking care of business right away.
Kaya, Argus, Molly, Abby, Pablo and Salvador headed to the creek for a morning outing. The pups came across other packs at the park and had their favourites to stop and sniff out.
Joey joined Baxter, Belle, Dutch, Olive and Ben at High Park. Joey was happy to meet new friends and made sure to socialize with all the pups at the park. Belle and Olive were constantly playing with each other.. they riled up Ben, who added a voice to the play. Dutch took the lead for many of the treks through the trails.
Watson looked over the lake as the waves crashed on shore and clouds covered behind.
Harry, Jake, Dixie, Gator and Harley wrapped up their afternoon with an adventure outbound. Each stopped to sniff a new spot.

Bapsi was interested in meeting a few passing by chihuahuas. They paid no attention and kept walking.
The lil ones.. Harley, Buddy, Sammy, Pablo, Salvador and Otto headed to the creek. The sun was shining and the pups enjoyed running around. Harley basked in the sun. Buddy veered off the trails following his nose while Sammy covered herself in burrs after continuing to roll around in the grass. She was loving it! Otto, Pablo and Salvador stayed close and loved having their new friends around.
Ben, Olive and Belle got up to their own High Park adventures through fences, down paths and around the trees. Baxter made every attempt he could to head to Spring Road for a dip. Rocky let other pups sniff him out at dog hill. Other walkers suggested that Dutch have a theme song played while he walks around the park. We're thinking about songs. to be continued...

fall has arrived

Each one of the A Dog's Way walks were filled with smiles and put everyone, including the pups and I, in a great mood. The leaves have started to cover each path we walked along today. All the pups enjoyed!

At the Creek.. the pups trekked through the muddy trails. Pablo, Salvador and Harley were especially careful veering around the mud puddles, keeping their paws as clean as possible. Molly, Argus and Baxter dove right in, happy to take a dip in the water and taking off through the trails.
At High Park.. the pups were racing after squirrels, happily chasing them up trees. Olive was Miss Social, stopping to play with every dog along the way. Harry was more wild than ever.. he felt the sand under his feet and went nutty. People stopped to watch. Belle and Ben chased each other around through the grassy areas while Dutch looked on sitting in a cushioned dirt patch.

Bapsi was the lady amongst the boys, Duncan and Watson. She didn't like the rain.. especially getting her bows wet. Duncan and Watson trooped it out and found many spots to sniff. Bailey and I got the brunt of the rain.. we were downpoured on. Poor Bailey! I made sure he was towel dried and left in a cozy sweater.
The sun came out on the ride to pick up Belle, Rocky, Ben, Olive and Argus. In lieu of the sun shining above the lake, we headed to Humber Bay Shores for a stroll. The pups were on their best behaviour and got lots of compliments.
Otto, Harry, Jake and Harley stopped in to relieve themselves at the Colonel Samuel offleash area before heading to the trails. The water was calm and the colours were picturesque. Fall has arrived! Harry got some wild in him and was showing off to a set of wildlife photographers... he showed them some wild. Otto, Jake and Harley stayed out of dane danger. Dixie was filled with excitement and wanted some backyard play. She finally took her focus off Jake and took a wee.

Welcome Argus!

A Dog's Way welcomed Argus to the pack. He joined Abby, Pablo, Salvador, Baxter and Jake at the Etobicoke Creek. After a few sniffs he was ready to go. The pups dashed through the trails and took part in fetch with the best sticks we could find in the forrest area.
At High Park.. Molly, Ben, Olive, Belle and Dutch were very friendly and excited to meet other pooches on their walks. The gang flew down the trails after one another, even Dutch picked up the pace when they got close.
Bapsi and Watson braved the rain and took care of business.

Sun Shiny Day!

It was like a hot summer day today! The pack couldn't have been more excited to go for a walk! The pups chased and raced each other all around High Park and Etobicoke Creek. Each pup was sniffing at the new smells of fall.

lakeside all day

Bapsi started the day off by the lake. She strolled around and strutted her new 'do...she looks adorable!
Next, Belle, Olive, Ben and Rocky headed to sunnyside to trek down the boardwalk. Our walk was filled with many sights.. the pups preferred the geese, ducks and swans.
Baxter, Otto, Harry, Harley and Brady headed to Humber Bay Shores and walked the trails along the lake.  We all thought... we live in a great city!
Watson took a lap lakeside before heading in.. ready for an afternoon nap.
Hunter and Dante finished the day off. They got lots of attention from the school kids as we walked the blocks.

Happy 2nd Birthday to Brady!!

Bapsi and Duncan headed in opposite directions following their noses. It was a sunny start to a great day of walks. Brady enjoyed walks all day long in lieu of his special day. He started at the Creek with Harry, Harley, Watson, Pablo and Salvador. It was quite a sight with the little pups and Harry the giant. Brady played fetch while the others made adventures of their own. Brady then joined Olive, Ben, Belle, Dutch and Molly at High Park for an afternoon trek through the trails. Brady and Olive went boston wild and had all the pups in play. On the way home, he was passed out from all his happy trails.

Harry, Otto, Belle, Olive, Ben and Rocky had a great time at High Park. The pack was full of energy and we kept moving along the trails and Spring Road.  
Dante took the place of Casey next to Hunter on the walk today. The duo kept at a good pace and took in the sunshine.

a case of the monday crazies

Bapsi and Watson enjoyed their morning stroll with the sun beaming down on us. Both encountered a young pup that wanted to play...neither wanted anything to do with him.
Abby, Harley, Pablo, Salvador, Baxter and Brady headed to the creek for the noon hour. Abby and Baxter took a quick snack break and grabbed an apple that had fallen from the tree. Brady and Harley took turns fetching.. all the pups joined in the chase once I started to throw numerous sticks. Salvador let me know when a burr had attacked him and Pablo kept at the back of the pack, out of the charging way.
Belle was the center of attention today at High Park. Ben, Olive, Abby, Molly and herself took off at full speeds up and down the path after one another. All had a case of the crazies. Dutch slowly wandered behind staying far from the chaos.

fall is in the air..

Clancy, Harley, Pablo, Salvador, Baxter and Otto headed to the Creek this morning. The heavy rainfall from yesterday made for some muddy pups. Clancy, Salvador and Baxter dug right in and were in their glory running through the trails. Harley, Pablo and Otto keep their paws dry, as best they could.
Belle, Olive, Ben, Rocky and Dutch headed to High Park this afternoon. The crisp fall was in the air. Belle, Olive and Ben went full blast to the point of almost taking me and Rocky off our feet. Rocky and Dutch put the calm on the bunch after that.

lucky us!

The rain spared us today. On the way to the creek, it was pouring! When we arrived, the rain slowed.. and throughout our walk, the rain was sparse. As the rain started back up again, the pack piled into the van and had a towel dry session. The pups enjoyed a treat and were ready for an afternoon nap after their ride home.
Hunter and Charlie enjoyed their neighbourhood walk today.. Charlie will be heading to his forever home tomorrow. Casey took it easy today.
Clancy, Watson and Harley headed from an evening stroll, stopping to sniff out their favourite trees.

new pups to the pack

Bapsi and Duncan enjoyed the sunshine, taking in the fresh breeze off of the lake.
The A Dog's Way pack welcomed Pablo and Salvador today. Belle, Olive, Ben and Dutch showed them the 'ropes' at High Park and their favourite trails to explore. Pablo and Salvador enjoyed their first walk with the pack.
Molly, Harry, Clancy and Harley followed along the trails beside the Etobicoke Creek. We walked down the path to Marie Curtis Park. The sights were beautiful and the pups were pooped on the ride home.

Today, the Etobicoke Creek was ours. The pups and I had the park to ourselves and enjoyed swims, fetch and a good run! The creek was crystal clear and reflected all the picturesque nature nearby.

Bapsi rolled in the grass. Watson was happy to meet new friends. Zok is a gentle soul. Prada let herself be heard. Harley followed suit. Abby was full of play all-day. Belle did her typical hallway carpet roll on the way out. Baxter took off running. Ben dug a hole to lie in. Olive tried to initiate play with all. Molly sunbathed. Dutch took it easy. Jake gave each ball up to the girls. Dixie was full of spunk.

EHS walk-a-thon

Harley, Prada, Zok, Monty and Navigator headed to the walk to show their support. Everybody made stops to pet the pups. Great day!

awesome walk to end the week!

The pups headed to the creek for a fun-filled outing. We ran into a disoriented field mouse that block our path as we walked. The pooches found him first and were ready for chase. I managed to get the pack by without any harm to their furry friend. The creek was clear and the relection of the nature around was breathtaking. Awesome walk to end the week!

Harry took his friends for an extra long outing to check out his new local dog park at Colonel Samuel. Lots of friends joined us and were happy to see Harry in the daytime. He was full of energy and up to no good, trying to rough play with all people. Gizmo brought his frisbees and balls keeping Belle, Olive and Brady occupied. We went non-stop with fetch the whole time. Ben chased the others around racing back and forth, happy to meet a new friend Junior. Baxter grazed and wandered the perimeters taking in every new scent. When we arrived, the park was ours.. so Rocky got a good run in until visitors came to join us. Then he happily stayed close meeting the newcomers.
Hunter, Casey and Charlie were joined by Harley and Kaya. We went for a walk through the fields where the pups raced around jumping through the grass.

keeping me laughing

Bapsi, Watson and Duncan joined each other out and about by the lake. They were all happy to have each others company. Brady and Olive were happy to finally meet. The bostons played like they do, tearing around after each other. Molly, Ben and I had a moment by the water.. they came close and cuddled next to me, happy to be loved. Belle stormed in wanting a piece, after a dip and dive into the dirt. Dutch watched us on the waters edge from a special spot in the stream.

Mocha and Taffy started their day with a neighbourly stroll through the park. Prada, Kaya and Harley took a longer lap. All made their stops to sniff out the scene.
Jake, Belle, Olive, Ben and Rocky tore into the park decked out in their fresh blue bandanas. All the other pups ran towards us to meet.

Labour Day Monday

Baxter and Ben joined Prada, Lincoln and Harley at High Park. When we arrived, the rain was upon us. By the time were leaving, the sun was out. Ben was less than impressed with the rain and snowbirds..  he could've done without. Baxter seemed unphased and trooped it out.

torrential rain pour

Otto, Baxter, Rocky, Dutch, Belle and I were at High Park at the peak of the rain storm today. We tried to find shelter under a big tree from the rain, but that did no good! The dogs and I got soaked from head to paws. Finally, when the thunder started we leashed up and made a run for the car. The weather today made for a very, very wet ride home. All we could do, was 'shake it off'.

see ya to Milo, for now

Bapsi and Watson couldn't wait to get outside to relieve themselves. Belle, Olive, Ben and Rocky joined Milo for his last walk with the pack for awhile. We spent extra time on our outing and enjoyed breathing in the refreshing breeze off the lake. The pups went for a swim to cool off. Harry, Otto, Baxter, Zok, Hero and Harley were joined by Lincoln at the Creek. The group headed to the water where Hero and Lincoln splashed around taking turns with a tennis ball. Otto and Harley hung out on the sidelines.. Otto chased another pup as he ran back and forth behind the group. Baxter wandered the bushes going in and out of the water. Harry hung out on the shore, going into the creek then into the bushes. He was happy to see Lincoln and the two took time out to 'ruff' around a bit.

what a wonderful way to spend the afternoon

Molly, Belle, Olive, Dutch, Hero and Harley headed to the creek for an afternoon swim. The creek was refreshing to splash into. Belle, Olive and Hero were interested in rocks that were being thrown into the water...it was a good constant game of fetch. Molly found a perfect spot under a big tree, while Dutch positioned himself on a rock in the creek, both perfect ways to keep cool. Harley floated around on shore.  

another hot one..

The pups and I took it easy today, making sure to seek out shade and water at every chance we could. Due to the extreme heat, we shortened our walks a wee bit to keep the pups comfortable. Belle, Olive, Ben and Rocky headed to High Park where we followed the shady trails to keep cool. At the creek.. Otto, Baxter, Harry, Jake, Harley and Hero all took a dip in the water to cool off. We stayed close to the waters edge as we travelled through the park so the pups could make frequent stops for a splash. Dixie was happy to see Jake and I return, she enjoyed a romp and pee break in the yard.

Perfect start to the work week. Bapsi and Watson enjoyed the sunshine and fresh air out on their stroll..both taking care of 'business'. Baxter, Belle, Molly, Olive, Ben and Dutch headed to the creek for an afternoon splash. It was hot hot hot and a perfect way to spend their walk.

too fun!

Bapsi was too busy rolling in the grass, that she didn't realize she continued to roll down the hill. She would get up, walk right back up the hill and do it all over again. Bapsi must've done it about 7 or 8 times... she didn't want to leave. Bailey walked lakeside and made plenty of stops to pee. By the end, he was just having fun lifting his leg.
Abby had a mid-day snack at the creek. She enjoyed an apple buffet right from the tree. Baxter prefered the all-you-can-eat salad bar. He even ventured across the creek for a fresh batch of grass. Darby joined another terrier at the park in a barking challenge, both wanted to be heard. Abby and Darby tore around, playing with one another, Otto stayed back telling them to keep away when they got too close. Otto followed me to the water, and waded in it while the others played. As we were leaving the park, Harry stopped for a final roll. After calling him to come, he clumsily ran towards the group with a silly face on. I knew he had been up to no good, I could smell him coming. The pups went for another swim so Harry could be washed off. and, Harley was there  :)
Milo, Rocky, Olive, Ben and Belle took over the boardwalk as they faned out around me. Olive kept trying to get Belle to play as we walked. Milo's favourite spot to stop & mark was the trash bins. Rocky stayed right by my side, keeping close so I could pat his head. Ben switched sides a few times. He steered away from the tackles and the back of the pack.

extra park time

Today Dutch, Molly, Olive, Belle, Ben and Abby spent lots of extra time at the Creek. The sun was shining and the weather was sweet... the pups were moving their dancing feet.

waves were a rockin'

Casey was full of energy today heading out with her pals, Hunter and Charlie. She had a special jump to her step and got the other pups interested in certain spots along the way. On Bapsi and Watson's morning walk, the waves in the lake were rockin'.. splashing at the shore as we walked along it.
Belle, Olive, Ben and Rocky stormed into High Park at top energy. Belle and Olive encouraged the other pups to play. Soon enough, there was circles of dog on the hill. Ben and Rocky were excited to be on the move. Through the trails, the pack stayed close meeting other pooches along the way. What a happy crew!
At the Creek, Otto and I had to jumped over a snake that was on the path. The snake caught us both by surprise. Wow! Harry was full of energy and went wild today. Harry and Abby, the lab looked just the same as they tore around in circles. At the rock beach, Harry, Jake and Abby were fetch obsessed. Darby preferred to stay at the waters edge and bark hoping to get the attention of the others. Jake was first to the stick in the water while Abby followed close behind and started tug-of-war while swimming back to shore. Sometimes, Jake would give it up to Abby and she would lose interest.. that's when Harry jumped in. He would grab the stick and go. He was happy to chew on it at the side lines. Most sticks ended up downstream.
Perfect day of walks   :)

gray skies

The gray skies may have been upon us today, but that didn't stop the A Dog's Way pack from spending a couple of hours at the Creek. Dutch, Baxter, Belle, Abby, Olive and Molly had a great time splashing around in the water and scouting the trails as we walked through. The pups were pooped on the ride home  :)

At the Creek..Baxter, Otto, Belle, Abby and Harley formed as a pack walking through the trails from beach to beach for a dip. At High Park... Olive, Ben, Rocky and Dutch travelled the trails stopping to smell their fave spots.

smiles all around

Hunter and Charlie loved their morning walk, each of the boys took turns stopping to pee along the way. At the Etobicoke Creek, Abby, Ben, Harley, Olive, Sammy and Otto were in dog heaven. Abby swam til her hearts content. Ben even joined her in the water to splash around. Harley was attacked by red ants, poor guy! Olive got the pups to run and chased around Ben and Abby through the playtime. Sammy missed having Buddy to follow behind. She rolled in the grass so much when she got up, she didn't know what direction to face. Otto had a great big grin from ear to ear at the rock beach. He happily stood at the waters edge and dipped his toes into the water.
Milo, Rocky, Harry, Baxter and Belle received big smiles left, right and center. Each person walking by had a favourite pup and gave them a big smile as they passed.

Ben, Abby and Harley passed out by my feet tell me they had a great day with Molly, Olive, Belle, Dutch and Harry. Pups can't wait til tomorrow...

'my stick'

At High Park, the pups made an entrance to dog hill. They galloped down the hill, greeting the other pups in the park. Otto rolled around in the sand as soon as he arrived. Belle saw her friends from another pack from afar and headed for a romp with her pal, Rusty. Olive made friends with another boston terrier and they tore around in the dirt. Rocky was happy to stay close to me, with many people in and around the park. Harry convinced people to help him with his scratches...he was happy when they did.
At the Creek..Ben, Jake, Abby and Harley hit the first beach and jumped right into the water. Jake informed me that I forgot something to throw, so he barked until we found a stick. Ben and Abby joined in for fetch and each took turns with the stick. Jake would fetch, ready for the next throw into the water. Ben would grab it and go, forcing the pups to chase him. Abby then would take an end and Ben & Abby would play tug-of-war while Jake tried to retrieve it. Harley watched on as the others circled around him.
Bapsi and Watson went for an afternoon lakeside stroll. The weather was perfect and the pups had no complaints.
Casey was waiting for me at the gate, while Hunter and Charlie came running when I arrived. The pups were happy during their walk and took care of business while out.

monday fun day

Baxter, Molly, Olive, Ben, Belle and Dutch headed to High Park for an afternoon walk. We marched along the trails, each taking turns leading the pack. We met lots of fun pups along the way and they were very friendly to each other. The pooches had fun!

weekend time..

Watching the sun try to peak from behind the clouds... it's trying to come out for the pups and I later. Looking forward to seeing Bapsi with her one bow left, Baxter who helicopter tails as we head out for the walk, Otto..sporting his new 'do, Olive being her puppyself, Belle staying out of the water, Rocky with his tongue hanging out the side of his mouth, Dutch, the big kid and Ben, with his token beagle bark.

oh, what a day!

Abby, Harley and Zok hit the streets first thing in the morning, the sidewalks were ours. Hunter, Casey and Charlie followed.. we stopped at the apple tree, the pups were interested in the fallen apples. Bapsi took an extra long route and enjoyed every minute of it. Belle, Olive, Ben, Rocky and Milo demanded attention as they walked along the boardwalk. Before heading home, we stopped at a log for a moment under a big tree where we all enjoyed the fresh, cool breeze off of the lake. They all were very happy pups. Baxter, Harry, Abby and Harley took their energy to the creek where we had a very peaceful, sunny walk including a stop at the rock beach where each pup headed in their own direction and explored.

Despite the gorgeous weather, High Park was quiet. The pups and I didn't mind one bit. Buddy, Sammy, Olive, Otto, Belle and Baxter charged through the park as if it was their own.
Jake, Harry, Zok, Abby and Harley took a stroll along the path down the Etobicoke Creek enjoying the scenery.
Hunter has returned and joined Casey and Charlie on their afternoon walk. He was delighted!

It was a peaceful walk at High Park. Molly, Olive, Ben, Belle, Dutch and Baxter took their time through the park, exploring the outdoors. Bapsi, Watson and Bailey all enjoyed the views lakeside during their strolls. Abby, Cookie, Zok, Rocky and Harley got lots of attention while out and about.

short week

The day was filled with lots of walks, fresh air and sunshine. The dogs and I enjoyed them all  :)

calm and collected

While out and about, Baxter, Ben, Belle, Olive, Rocky and Milo received many compliments on how well behaved they were. They walk on-leash well together and form a cohesive pack.
Jake, Otto, Buddy and Sammy explored their surroundings and new smells.

wild wednesday

Ben brought his people and joined the A Dog's Way pack at High Park today. He was in all of his glory with his favourite people and pups to hang out with. He chased around Aarley, Olive and Belle...mediating play. Molly jumped in at times but her favourite jump was into the water then straight to the cement for a roll. Belle stayed perfectly clean until we were heading out of the park, she covered herself in dirt from head to toe. Molly and Belle were very happy, dirty dogs! Olive stops most passing by pooches to play. Dutch got lots of attention around the park because he is too cute.
Back at Camp A Dog's Way, the pups spent their morning enjoying the fresh air breeze through the yard. Lincoln joined the pack at the Creek. Hot day for water play! Keisha, Sasha, Harry, Abby, Cookie, Aarley stayed together walking along the creek stopping for a dip every chance they could.

good long weekend..

The pups must've had a great long weekend. All were wiped! At High Park.. Ben, Olive, Belle and Rocky took it real easy but enjoyed their walk to the fullest. The Camp A Dog's Way pack headed to the Creek for the afternoon. Their romp was filled with trails, swimming and fetch.

play time

Otto, Baxter, Belle, Olive, Dutch and Rocky stayed together as a pack while walking through High Park. We all were close while visiting the trails, Spring Road and dog hill.
Back at camp, Abby, Cookie and Cape tore it up! They were full of play..the pups went nuts!! Bailey joined the pack, and the play continued. Good times!

over the last couple of days...

Bapsi has taken her time on her walks enjoying the summer air while away from the new addition.. beautiful baby, Marcus. Buddy and Sammy joined the crew early this week so they could head up north for the weekend. Harry found a new 'spot' to roll in and proudly displayed his work of art at the rock beach. Olive starts her fun when she jumps into the A Dog's Way mobile. She tries to initiate play on route. Baxter is a programmed scavenger. He makes sure to scan the area as he walks. Dutch loves off leash walks, he sets his own pace from the pack. Jake got a break from new puppy, Dixie... he swam til his hearts content and found a huge stick that he was set on bringing home with him. Jake ran into problems because the stick was too large to take through the forrest on the trail back. Belle made every effort to swim in the lake today. She was determined to get us all in for a swim. Ben took off racing each time he arrived at the park, ready for summertime fun. Rocky has come a long way with strangers. He received a pat this week from others at the park. Milo couldn't wait for his walk today. He kept trying to get started without the rest of the pack being ready. Otto acts as my shadow while on our walks. I always know he is just right behind. Lovely pups!

As I type, the pups are sprawled out around my feet. Each has a comfy spot enjoying the fresh air or sunshine. Baxter, Belle and Ben came to join the pack at Camp A Dog's Way for a few hours before heading out for their walk. The pups were entertained with balls, toys and the splash pool. They look forward to a stroll follwed by a late afternoon nap.

Otto, Baxter, Belle, Rocky and Milo took the scenic route through High Park. We walked along in the zoo during our travels. Belle's favourite were the llamas, while the yaks surprised Rocky and Baxter. Otto enjoyed watching the birds around the pens. Milo kept the pack moving and took us through random trails.

All day, the pups kept me in a great mood. Each one made their special impact on my day. How awesome!

a dog's day

Today, we spent a couple of hours at the Etobicoke Creek. It was a perfect day to hang out by the water. The pups and I were having such an enjoyable afternoon, none of us wanted to leave. Splashes, cuddles and basking...the pooches were in pet bliss.

pup fest

Today, Bapsi took her time and guided me for our walk.
Buddy, Sammy, Rocky, Belle, Ben and Olive took a walk in High Park. As soon as we arrived at the park, Ben, Belle, and Olive took off into the long grass to take care of business. Sammy felt most comfortable close to her pal, Buddy. He seemed to do his own thing, making sure to check in with her every now and again. Rocky went for a dip when we hit the water on Spring Road, he was happy to cool his paws off. After a good romp, we headed back to dog hill where Olive found another puppy to frolick with in the dirt.
Kaya, Jake, Misha, Harry, Otto and Dutch took it easy by the Creek. Jake swam til his hearts content while Misha raced in circles releasing her energy. The others watched from the sidelines making their way for a dip in the water or cool off under a tree.

Olive showed up today pretty in pink. She joined the pack at High Park where Molly, Ben, Belle and her tore around. Baxter wandered the trails, investigating all the smells.

friendly friday

Everyone stopped to chat about the pooches today. Otto, Baxter, Olive, Belle and Rocky got attention at High Park. Gator, Misha, Zok, Cookie, Dutch and Harley turned heads on the street. They made lots of friends!

good dog!

Casey took her time on the walk this morning while Charlie stopped and did his 'potty dance' each time he stopped for a #1 or #2. Hunter waited patiently for us to return so he could enjoy his full body scratch, especially his belly.

Bapsi went for a quick walk excited to get back to her breakfast. Bailey took his time using all of his senses during his walk. He smelled his favourite spots, stared into the lake and touched the nature around him.
Belle didn't want anything else but to be water-bound today by the lake. She made every attempt to get the pack into Lake Ontario. Olive held her own with the other larger pups while on the stroll. Ben, Rocky and Milo played musical orientations as we walked along the boardwalk.
Dutch was picked up for his visit at Camp A Dog's Way and joined Harrry, Otto and Baxter for their trek. The pack had many different encounters while out.
Back at the fort...Cookie, Misha, Zok and Harley geared up for their highly anticipated afternoon stroll. They worked up an appetite and indulged in their dinner.

summer fun

High Park was filled lots of summer fun for the pups...time for swimming, playing in the dirt and walk along the trails. Olive does a great job of recruiting pups as honourary pack members for the day. She just loves to play. Belle stayed out of the dirt today...she kept clean for the whole walk. Baxter, Molly, Ben and Dutch stayed close and enjoyed the trek through the park.

hot hot heat

Casey and Charlie started their days off on the right paw. They enjoyed their morning stroll and fresh air.
Watson was happy to see Bapsi for a rendevous oh the dog walk.
Rocky, Belle, Olive, Ben, Otto and Harry took their walk to Colonel Samuel Smith Park. The different scenery was a great change of pace.
Jake joined Cookie, Misha, Zok and Harley for a frolick and walk along the Etobicoke Creek.

calm before the storm

At High Park today, Baxter, Molly, Olive, Ben, Belle and Dutch fit well into the calmness of the park. Each pup had occasional spirts of energy in a peaceful and calm manner. The rain started just as we returned back to the car from our walk...we were all happy for that  :)

cottage fun

Harry, Cookie, Misha and Zok were cottage bound for the weekend. Joined by Harley and Hershey, the pups swam, basked in the sunshine, cooled off in the shade and took in the fresh air off the lake. The pack had a relaxing and refreshing weekend up north. The pooches were pooped when we got back home.

rain day

Jake, Otto, Baxter, Belle, Rocky, Dutch and I braved the rain and splashed around in puddles. By the end of our walk through High Park, the rain had stopped. The pack checked out the newly revamped trails and approved   :)
Zok, Misha and Harley took a tour through the 'hood, stopping for errands along the way.

lake day

The A Dog's Way pack aimed to stay close to the lake every chance we could. After Casey and Charlie's morning outing, we made sure all our efforts were to keep cool. Ben, Belle, Rocky and Milo headed lakeside along the boardwalk catching a breeze. We all took a dip in the lake, despite Belle's efforts to get us all in for a swim. Ben stayed right at shore, while Rocky and Milo cooled their paws off. Baxter, Harry and Otto headed down to a different spot along the lake. We made many water stops and took the time to enjoy an extra special treat. Despite the heat, the pups were happy  :)
Zok, Misha, Watson and Harley are getting geared up to check things out around the neighbourhood.

another hot one..

Lincoln, our german shepherd friend, joined our pack today at High Park. Olive was happy to meet Lincoln while the rest of the gang, Molly, Ben, Belle and Dutch, thought he was old news. Once we got to Spring Road, the pups were interested in frolicking around with each other.

woof symphony

The pups and I stayed hydrated through the warm weather today. At the creek...Ben, Jake, Olive and Belle hit the water and found the perfect stick that each of them wanted. They took turns creating a woof symphony. Harry found his 'special spot' from the other day to continue his roll around. Afterwards, the pack and I smelt him coming. Otto dipped his feet in the water as he hung out beside me. We played with the other pooches, enjoying their splashes. Rocky went offleash today...he was perfectly happy to meet other people and their pooches.
Hunter stayed in while Casey and Charlie braved the heat. They went for a lap around the neighbourhood and returned back home to Hunter.

Today was a hot one!! The A Dog's Way pack welcomed Olive, a boston terrier pup, with wagging tails. She was thrilled to meet her new friends. At High Park, she kept the others running. Ben, Belle and Molly excitedly chased her around and through the water..keeping cool. Dutch hung out in the shade and took it wasy today. Baxter kept close to the pack but wandered through the tall grassy areas.
Katie, Zok and Harley are getting geared up to head out for an early evening stroll.

Prada, Harley, Keisha, Baxter, Rocky and Dutch headed to High Park for an everyday getaway. They kicked up the sand at dog hill, socializing with fellow park pups. We headed to Spring Road where the pups took a dip in the water where they made a splash.

Bapsi enjoyed her walk by the lake. She enjoyed marking her territory along the way. Boucle was happy to have a visitor...he was all wagging tail.
The walk was incredible at High Park. All pups were on an adventure of their own and had happy faces on.
Bailey was interested in smelling the scents along his way.

blue crew

Abby was dropped off for an early morning splash and chase with Cookie and Prada. Harley watched as the others tore around.
Abby, Molly, Ben, Belle and Dutch stormed into High Park with bounds of energy. Everyone saw their blue bandanas from afar.
At the creek...Cookie, Prada and Harley were happy to be reunited with Abby. The current was high, so the pups made sure to stay close to shore. Within 3 throws of the tennis ball, Brady had lost contact with it in the bushes. From there, we found a small apple and threw that in replace of the ball...Brady fetched it anyways. Baxter joined Abby for a swim, the current made for an extra workout.
Casey and Charlie went for an evening stroll. At one point, the rain poured down on us...the pups and I danced in the rain.

fun-day!

Rocky, Cookie, Harley and Prada headed out this morning for a neighbourhood stroll. Their tongues were hanging out the sides of their mouths when we returned.
The gang then headed to High Park to meet Dutch, Belle and Baxter. All the pups played at dog hill and along the trails through Spring Road.
In lieu of the gorgeous day, Angel and Molly went out for an extra long walk.
Hunter took it easy today while Casey and Charlie made their way through their 'hood.

thirsty thursday

Today was a hot one!! Harry, Baxter, Belle, Milo, Rocky and Cookie headed to the lake for their walk. They had no problem taking up the whole boardwalk and enjoyed the cool off in the lake. It took all my strength to keep myself from a swim despite the pups efforts to get me in. They were thirsty dogs, making stops for water breaks along the way.
Buddy and Sammy joined the crew for a relaxing afternoon saunter. They took it easy in the sun and shade enjoying the fresh air.
Angel and Molly strutted their stuff on their neighbourhood stroll, visiting their favourite spots.

wacky wednesday

Baxter, Molly, Ben, Belle and Dutch headed to High Park for an afternoon stroll. It was a hot one and each dog took their turn splashing around in the water.
Hunter, Casey and Charlie joined the pack at the Creek for a couple of laps. Hunter was happy to play with other pups, not knowing his limit. Casey and Charlie stayed close stopping to sniff their selected spots. Prada and Harley raced around after one another at the park while Buddy and Sammy followed behind staying away from their track.
Angel and Molly were happy it was just spitting today for their potty break. It was a great way to keep cool.

wet dogs

Bapsi, Watson and Bailey were lucky to miss the rain on their walks today. Harry, Ben, Belle and Jake weren't so lucky! The rain came down hard when we arrived at the Creek. Harry, Belle and Jake couldn't care-a-less....Ben on the other hand, would have rather stayed comfy at home. Merlin and Mister...friends from the park, joined the pack for a rain romp. The pups got going and enjoyed a chased around the park.
Despite the rain, Dixie headed out to take care of business. Angel and Molly got downpoured on during their potty break this afternoon.

crazy at the creek

Within 1 minute of arriving at the Creek, Abby, Belle and Baxter had hit the first spot to jump in the water. They came racing out shaking off around Molly, Ben and Dutch. We headed along to the first beach and then rock beach for a romp in the water or trek in the woods. The pups were full of energy and had a blast playing as a pack.
There was lots of my love to go around for the pug\beagle gang. We hung out in the yard where I took turns petting Hunter, Casey, Charlie, Dante and Gwen. They were all loving it!

perfect weeks end

Betty and Harley were ecstatic when Prada arrived for her day visit, they headed straight to the yard for a romp. Rocky, Belle and Zok joined the trio for a long neighbourhood stroll. On the way home, Betty was so exhausted she laid spread eagle in the grass any chance she could, Prada and Harley could have gone another few laps. Rocky and Belle were happy as can be!
At High Park...Otto, Sammy, Buddy, Dutch and Baxter had huge grins on their faces, all seemed very happy. Otto rolled in sand, while Sammy found the perfect spot in the grass. Buddy tried to pretend he wasn't interested in the other pups as he sniffed from a distance. Dutch trailed behind receiving many comments on how adorable he was. Baxter stayed close to the pack, stopping to sniff tails with other pooches as they passed.
Hunter, Casey and Charlie went for the short route today, the heat was a wee bit too much for them.

lots o' pups

Betty started her morning off chasing Belle in circles around the yard. Zok and Harley chilled out on the deck watching the other two.
Baxter, Ben, Harry and Milo took a stroll down Spring Road through High Park. Baxter was on a mission of his own...he got a head start meeting all the pups along our way. Ben happily galloped along the waters edge. Harry had lots of other danes to meet today. He met three ladies...lucky him! Milo stayed close and listened very well off leash.
Otto, Buddy and Sammy came out to play with the others. They each did their own thing while enjoying the fresh air and sunshine.
Jake joined Rocky, Belle, Zok, Betty and Harley at the Etobicoke Creek for a dip to cool off. A perfect way to spend a summer afternoon.
Hunter, Casey and Charlie took it easy today making sure to take care of business while on their travels.

june showers..?

We just missed the rain for each walk. Bapsi was happy about that.
The sun came out for Milo, Belle, Harry, Molly, Ben and Dutch. We went for a walk along the boardwalk putting smiles on others faces as we passed. Milo and Dutch stopped and marked every tree or trash can they could. Belle kept trying to walk herself along the way. Harry was very interested in the geese and ducks, he wanted at them. Ben and Molly walked side by side taking in all the sights.
Zok, Harley and Belle enjoyed the rest of the afternoon and fresh air, once the final rain had fallen.

blue crew

Hunter, Casey and Charlie were all waiting for me when I arrived. They went for a neighbourhood stroll, checking out the smells they missed since last time.
Bapsi took it easy while Bailey strutted his stuff during his lakeside stroll.
Jake, Harry, Otto, Belle, Ben and Rocky went for a romp in High Park. The pups had a great time. We were all matching in teal  :)
Also met Dixie, Jakes new sister. She is adorable and is excited to get out with the pack once she is big enough.

best job ever!

Kris came to join the pack on our adventures through the Etobicoke Creek...he agreed that I have the best job ever. Belle, Abby and Baxter wasted no time getting into the water. They bounced right in and shooted out shaking off the excess. Molly, Ben and Harry flew around the park from one tree to the next....very playful with the other pooches. Dutch, Zok and Harley took it easy and followed the pack as we went along.

Happy Birthday Molly!!

Molly had a great day!! She was joined by Belle, Rocky, Dutch and Hero at High Park. She jumped into the water where she was knee deep in mud. Molly then took Hero and Harley with her to the Etobicoke Creek where she cleaned up real nice. Baxter, Brady and Otto took part in Mollys birthday celebration as well. Molly and Baxter took off into the bushes together a few times...every time I called, they both came out looking suspicious  :)  Hero, Brady and Otto were fetched obsessed. One of them was sure to catch the ball when thrown onto land or in water. Molly and her friends enjoyed special treats and lots of fun to end the week.

Hunter, Casey and Charlie were ready to go this morning. All stopped at their favourite spot along the way.
Bapsi let her hair down today, no bows. Bailey watched as the swans followed our walk alongside the lake.
Milo, Rocky, Belle, Ben and Baxter headed for a stroll to the lake and back through high park. The swans and geese steered away from the pack.
Otto, Brady, Buddy, Sammy and Harley got all the toys out today. Between the balls, ropes and stuffed ones...the pups could hardly decide which to play with.

wednesday water fun

The rain was calm for Bapsi, Bailey and Watson's outings. Each enjoyed watching the big waves in the lake while they took care of business.
At the Etobicoke Creek, the pups were already wet so they had some water fun. They all headed straight into the creek for a dip and run. Brady was so funny, he looked like a frog jumping through the water. Belle and Jake jumped right in for a swim. Molly ran into the water trying to initiate play with the pack. Ben stayed close to shore where he vocally expressed his excitement. Dutch laid down at the edge of the creek, getting his feet and belly wet.

High Park fun

Otto beat Belle to the punch, and was the first to roll in the sand at dog hill...he was loving it! Belle didn't wait too long after that to follow suit. Belle, Ben and Brady repeatedly chased Jake around a big tree at the park. The four of them had a riot playing throughout the park. They were happy to find a ball which they all took turns with. Rocky was interested in meeting other pups at the water on Spring Road.
Belle and Harley went for a jog along the lake for an evening stretch. The pups kept the pace and appeared very happy!
Hunter and Casey introduced me to their new pal, Charlie. What an adorable pup! He joined the gang for a breath of fresh air and lap around the block.

monday madness

The pups were vocal and full of energy today. People at the creek saw the pack coming from afar. We lost 2 tennis balls within 10 minutes of being at the park. Belle and Brady were very focused on the balls even after they went missing. Even Ben grabbed a ball at one point and took off with it trying to get the others to chase him. Ben and Dutch were vocal trying to initiate play, woofing at the other pooches as they passed by. The creek was moving and Abby was waterbound. Molly chased the pack along the shore while Baxter hid in the bushes investigating all the smells.

Tip #18 - Do not drink from puddles.

Baxter, Sammy, Wedge, Lucky and Harley spent the morning taking in the fresh air before heading out on their neighbourhood adventure. The smells were new for some of the pups...they followed their noses. Belle loves to pee in puddles...just a warning to her fellow pups. She was happy to run into her old pack mate, Rusty for a romp. Otto was the first one into the park...he stood his ground with the bigger dogs. Rocky splashed into the water and chomped on the plants around him. Dutch loves little dogs. He is always very forward when meeting them.
Back at the house, Buddy and Sammy joined the others in an afternoon of play and naps. Wedge scouted the yard for extra ¨nutrition¨. Lucky rolled around in the grass. Baxter chewed on any stick he could find. Sammy cut the grass for me. Buddy and Sammy found their favourite nap spot - the backside of the couch in the gazebo. They looked quite comfy!

dogs brought sunshine on a cloudy day

Hunter and Casey were ready to go for their walk this morning. Both were very lively and happy to be out. Belle, Ben, Rocky and Milo got lots of attention on their walk to the beach. The pups put a smile on others faces as they passed....and mine!
We just missed the rain for our afternoon play. Buddy and Sammy showed off their hair cuts as well today. They are ready for their summer filled with walks and especially for their visit to Camp A Dogs Way this weekend. Otto was interested in the other pups...very social today.
Baxter, Wedge, Lucky and Sammy are enjoying each others company. They take their turns playing with one another. Harley and Maeva are beggin for my attention   :)

new summer hair dos

Molly showed off her new do to the other pups. She was so proud, she even stayed out of the dirt. Belle got dirty enough for the both of them. Ben was full of energy, he raced along the water through High Park. Baxter and Dutch stayed close to the pack, stopping to sniff the smells along the way.
Bailey was decked out with his summer do too....all ready for the warm weather. He pranced out on his walk, getting lots of attention from other pups.
Jake, Sammy and Harley ended the day with a rainy walk along the creek at Marie Curtis Park. We got caught in the rain but enjoyed it as best we can...I was content with a coffee in hand   :)  The pups happily splashed around.

good day, sunshine!

Otto stayed close today at High Park, taking it easy from his recent rest. Rocky got his feet wet enjoying his cool off in the water. Belle stayed out of the dirt today! Ben got behind the group but raced towards once he spotted us. Baxter lagged behind but happily raced back with the pack once called.
Belle joined Hunter and Casey for their afternoon outing. The sun was hot, but we found the shady spots out on our walk. Belle then came for a visit with Harley, Motown and Sammy. She was thrilled! While the kiddy pool was being filled, Sammy caught the hose water with his mouth while Belle splashed around him. Motown was nearby playing ball with himself, while Harley tried to demand his attention.
Sammy and Harley went for an evening run....it was a perfect pace for the pups.

- Baxter wandered across the creek and found new folliage to graze on
- Belle and Abby swam side by side chasing after anything thrown into the water
- Molly puttered around the water, then found a cool spot under a tree
- Ben ventured around, stopping to join in a barking chase
- Dutch made sure he had no mud between his toes after his dip
- Sammy was excitedly playing with Maeva, the cat
- Harley basked in the sun on the deck...what a sun dog!

calm day at High Park

Molly, Belle, Rocky and Dutch enjoyed being out and about at High Park. The pups were happy and had a great run.

Life is good.

Hunter & Casey were still groggy when I arrived this morning for their walk. They were happy to putter in the fields while Hunter was up for it. Bapsi found a new route today, and she was happy to walk it. Buddy and Sammy joined Watson, Motown, Sammy and Harley for a play date o' fun. They raced about and took it easy in the shade when they tired. Otto happily pranced about on his outing while he took care of business. Baxter, Harry, Belle, Ben, Milo and Rocky headed out for an afternoon stroll. Despite the heat, we kept hydrated along the way with a dip in the lake and shots of water along the way. Dutch enjoyed the fresh air and sun on his break outside.

Sammy's back :)

In lieu of the spicy hot day, there was only one park to attend...the Etobicoke Creek. The pups and I were able to keep cool as we played around. I sat on a rock in the creek listening to the birds and water run past, while watching my loves splash around. Baxter, Jake and Belle swam chasing after rocks I threw into the creek. The pups kept me cool by shaking off the water right beside me. Molly, Ben and Dutch cooled off in the water but preferred their special spots in the shade. Sammy brought his energy full force into the pack...the pups were delighted!

The sun was out for Bapsi and Bailey's walk. On Bailey's outing, he passed by other pooches very interested in taking a sniff.
At High Park..Rocky, Ben, Belle, Baxter and Harry were hot dogs. We made sure to make plenty of stops in the water and again back at dog hill for a hose down. Perfect pups!  :)

Victoria Day fun

Jake, Abby, Prada and Harley were pumped to play after a perfect long weekend. They chased each other around and basked in the morning sun. At the creek, all the pups went for a dip. It was a great way to cool off after all their runs.

Happy Long Weekend

Brady joined the A Dog's Way packs all day long. He started his travels with a run through High Park. Milo, Belle and Dutch joined him. There were lots of people around, and many admiring the pups. Belle & Brady chased each other around the park. Brady was pretty quick for Belle. It kept Belle relatively clean during the walk. Milo had his best listening cap on...even when distracted, he came when called. Dutch made many stops, sometimes just to take a break and lay in the shade.
Georgia was happy to see her pup friends. Georgia, Jake and Baxter chased Brady around while he carried around the favourite toys amongst the pack. They raced around in circles repeatedly. Harley watched the others and relaxed on the side.

The weather coudn't have been better....the pups made my day  :)
Bapsi, Bailey and Otto enjoyed their breaths of fresh air. The sun was shining and the weather was sweet.
Milo, Harry, Rocky, Ben and Belle took a dip in the lake during their afternoon romp. Pups pulled me in, for me to enjoy with them. Kaya loved meeting Buddy and Sammy, she just loves small dogs. Jake splashed around in the water, meeting new friends. We found a stick that he didn't want to share. Baxter went into the forest area and explored all the smells. Fergie went on an adventure of her own. She took off into the nearby areas and always came when called.
Hunter and Casey met another beagle while out on their walk. The pup and Hunter got along very well. Casey stopped to piddle many times while on her travels.

Sunny Day, Sweepin' the Clouds Away

Watson & Bapsi piddled in unison. They took in the morning sunshine and fresh air. Bailey took his time on our lake-round walk. He made his usual two stops to do his business.
Milo, Ben, Belle, Molly and Dutch were excited on our walk to High Park. They couldn't wait to get there. Milo lollygagged behind the group as we ventured along Spring Road. Ben puttered alongside the water as we walked. Belle did her usual jump in the water and roll around in the dirt right after. Molly chased the others around, keeping them on their paws. Dutch followed behind getting spirts of energy that he used to catch up to the pack.
Brady and Jake fetched til their hearts content...in and out of the water. Brady prolonged his swims by pushing the ball further and further away as he tried to reach it. Jake played hard to get, leaving the ball a couple feet away from me. Baxter happily chased a stick in the water. He took turns fetching the balls that the other two were occupying. Kaya took turns running after the ball on land and soaked her feet in the meantime. Harley basked in the sun...loving every minute of it!

centimeter-worms

Snoopy and Sandie were dropped off for an adventure filled day with the A Dog's Way pack. They joined Kaya, Harley and Zok at the Etobicoke Creek for a brisk early morning walk. The centimeter-worms, not large enough to be called inchworms hung from the trees as we passed. An perfect way to start the day.
Bailey got lots of attention on his walk...his youthful look always has people shocked when I reveal his wise age of 14 years.
Harry, Baxter, Belle, Ben and Rocky had a hay-day at High Park. The pups were full of energy! At dog hill, the 'blue crew' made lots of new friends and had a riot racing around with them.
Hunter and Casey made their way through the neighbourhood stopping to use their beagles noses to their full potentials. On our way home, their tongues were out the sides of their mouths.

extra long walk

Abby, Baxter, Molly, Ben, Belle and Dutch headed to the creek for an extra long outing. When we arrived at the rock beach, the sticks we had collected on our way were tossed into the water or up on shore. All the pups were very interested in playing with them. Within 5 minutes, the sticks were all dispersed and only the hardcores had theirs accounted for. The pups and I didn't want to leave so we stayed an extra bit and enjoyed the beautiful day  :)

sunday sun

Kaya, Zok, Harley and Gator hung out lounging in the sun and shade under the gazebo, all morning in the yard. At the creek, Zok went cone-free and loved every minute of it. Kaya and Gator happily explored while Harley stayed close to me.

the sun came back..

Kaya, Otto, Ben, Belle, Rocky and Dutch had a very happy outing at the Etobicoke Creek. All the pups were loving the warm weather, trees to smell and water to cool off in. The pack was cohesive as we walked along the trails.

rain, rain go away..

Baxter, Harry, Belle, Rocky and Milo enjoyed sights while out on their walk. We encountered lots of quick squirrels, a swan's nest and flocks of geese. The pups were very interested as we passed by all the animals.
Buddy had a break from his shadow today and ran freely. Sammy was an independent woman and walked along on her own. Hunter was excited to meet new friends at the Creek while Casey walked along marking her territory. Otto took a liking to Buddy and another pup, Zack, while they socialized. Kaya watched over all the little pups. She was happy to keep our pack entertained.

Bapsi and Watson enjoyed each others company on their outing. Bailey was happy to walk solo.
The A Dog's Way pack met new friends at High Park, Duke and Earl. Belle and Jake were big fans of the chocolate labs. Molly, Dutch and Harley watched as they others frolicked, while they mingled with passing pups and explored the smells. Molly found a perfect stick, Belle and Jake both chased her around for it. Dutch tried to take a dip in the water, but couldn't find a spot where he could gradually step in...he watched as Belle dived in for a swim.

rain, rain stay away

Belle and Baxter were the only pups to brave the creek despite the colder temps. Buddy and Sammy stayed close to one another, and followed Harry around when we got to the rock beach. What a sight! Otto was very fond of Buddy. He ventured by his side as we walked along.
Amongst the rocks, a groundhog came to tease Rocky. Rocky watched very curiously and cried out wimpers for the small creature. Timber and Diesel tagged along for the hunt as well.
Hunter and Casey trooped it out in the rain. They had good shakes along the way.

fun-day

To start the morning off, Abby sorted through her favourite toys and balls. Molly, Ben, Belle and Dutch joined Abby for a romp in High Park. Molly got the pack riled up with her full of energy bursts when we arrived. Frick and Frack, Abby and Belle, jumped in the water together and walked along attached to the same sticks. Ben chased after the inseperable pair, woofing away. Dutch followed the group, taking his time exploring.
Buddy, Sammy and Harley frolicked in the grass, rolling around in their glory. The pups raced around expending their energy.

harley missed out

Milo went offleash in High Park and stopped to smell just about every corner. He was happy and free as he trotted along. After the park, we trekked through nature trails to the water before heading home.
Zok enjoyed his walk. He skipped along happily wagging his tail.

here comes the rain...

Just in time...the pack wrapped up their walk at the Etobicoke Creek before the rain started. The only water they felt, was the creek beneath their paws. All pups enjoyed their end of the week walks.

windy day

Today, the pups and I got blown around. Bapsi and Bailey got the brunt of it on their lakeside strolls.
Rocky, Milo, Belle, Ben and Harry wandered along the lake on our walk and took the trails through High Park on our way back. The dogs were excited when they crossed the paths of geese or swans.
Hunter and Casey were thrilled to head out when I arrived. They were very interested in meeting all the other pups on walks.

best job in the world

Jake, Baxter, Molly, Ben, Belle and Dutch headed to High Park for an extra long outing. When we arrived at dog hill, Dutch found another pups toy and held on for dear life. The other owner was impressed with his patience and dedication. Jake found a stick about 2 meters long and was so proud. He did not want to let it go, despite his unsuccessful efforts to get it passed a narrow bridge. Baxter, Molly and Belle took a detour and all jumped in the water for a quick cool off and swim. Ben was an extremely happy pack member....he had pup grin from ear to ear.
Navigator and Harley just returned from a late afternoon stroll. They both enjoyed seeing the sights and sniffing the smells along the way.
