miserable weather.. that is all!

Bandit & Maddie started the morn in a playful frolic.. followed by a long walk joined by Megan & Harley. we made stops to sniff and made sure we left our mark! brothers.. Sinclair, Rex & Ferris went for a family stroll, happy as can be in each others company.
Pepper was social on his midday stroll, while Bailey was less than impressed with canine company along his way.
Belle, Ben, Jasper, Cookie & Otto headed to lambton park for their walk. when we arrived, we had the trails to ourselves but before no time, the grounds looked like dog hill! the pack didn't complain one bit.. they all involved themselves in a chase or two!
Miss Dyte was reluctant to head out this afternoon, she preferred her snuggle with mum.. we did manage to get out for a nice walk to take care of business.
Odin, Jake, Dixie and Muskoka were off to west deane park for quite the nature walk this afternoon.. our travels included streams, leaves & tree-lined trails. Odin, Dixie & Muskoka trekked through the water while Jake grabbed hold of many sticks along the way!
back at camp, the play wars were on! Bandit vs Mad-E with the Taylor trio joining in the battle, while Megs mediated the games! we enjoyed the afternoon sun that finally came out!

whoa wind!

Ferris, Rex, Sinclair, Maddie & Harley were lazy this morning after their fun filled weekend up north. we strolled to the bank where they got treats & pets from all directions.
Muskoka, Maddie, Molly, Belle, Lila & Dutch headed to the park, happy to see many wagging tails to play with. Muskoka was every person friend.. she sat down on their feet, looking for love ... which she got! Maddie & Belle ran around the park seeking fun, while Dutch was very friendly with many. Lila attracted the large, playful pups.. just her kind!
happy 8th birthday to Pepper! a sunny stroll was just what the dr prescribed! we took our time, enjoying the beautiful day :)
Bailey & I almost blew away with the wild wind lakeside.. I had to pick him up a time or two, before the wind did!
Gwen was still sleeping during her potty break.. it took a few minute before the fresh air woke her up!
Jake, Dixie, Megan and Hunter went to Marie Curtis Park. Jake played fetch, while Megs chased back & forth after him. Dixie stayed close, sitting at my feet while Hunter wandered as a lone dog.
Bandit arrived at camp full of mischief & energy.. ready for camp fun!

winter arrived up north!

we got to the cottage.. and there was snow, and plenty of it!! the dogs were beyond ecstatic to tear around in the freshly fallen snow. they made many tracks through the snow, rolling around making snow dog-angels!
our weekend was filled with snowy frolics, cozy cuddles by the fireplace & a showing of 'marley & me' ... what a way to spend a weekend! :)

from rain, to hail, to snow.. make up your mind!!

Hunter & I trooped out the downpour this morning, disappointed to see that the forecasted snow hadn't appeared! hoping for a winter like day, we made the most of our rainy trek.
Muskoka, Megan, Maddie, Belle, Dutch & Oscar went to the sorauren park, happy to see others trooping out the rain, turned to hail, turned to snow! the pups weren't phased by the moment changing weather conditions, like I was, at all!!! they still went about their rounds of play as usual.
Pepper took it easy and went for a midday stroll to stretch & take care of business.
Otto & Lila went to Connorvale park to have a frolic and chase. the two were delighted to see the afternoon sun that came to join us on our walk.
Ferris, Rex and Sinclair arrived at camp, ready to head up north with Harley & Maddie. we got packed up & were cottage bound.. hoping for a white & snowy weekend!!

rain, rain.. go away!!!

Harley led the pack that was made up of Keisha, Maddie, Maya & Bandit.. the mood was calm & collected as we strolled through the neighbourhood turning heads at how well behaved we were :)
Muskoka, Odin, Jake, Dixie, Otto welcomed Oscar back after his 'vacation' .. a brand new man ;o) we tore around west deane park, along the trails and making new ones of our own.
Afrodyte found the one patch of snow left n the street and rolled her whole body around, covering herself in cold!
Megs, Princess, Ben, Jasper, Belle, Pepper & Cookie were joined by another pup gang at lampton park. it was great to see familiar faces on a dreary rain day. the groups integrated & became quite the pack.
the campers headed out for some late day fun.. full of frolics & friends! rain, rain.. go away!!!

Happy Family Day!!

I've heard it all.. "you have your hands full!', "are they all yours?" & "what happens when they see a squirrel?" are just a few of the many things I hear on a day-to-day basis. I'm never surprised!
today, the pack needed a change of scenery.. we headed to the bruce trail on the niagara escarpment and enjoyed an awesome on & off leash walk amongst the hills & trails. the campers Maya, Maddie, Connor, Keisha & Harley, were joined by Muskoka. the pack was wild! Maya, Maddie, Connor & Muskoka did laps far & wide, while Keisha & Harley stayed at my heels. what a perfect way to spend today.. with my furry family! :) although, we still managed to hear the oh, so familiar comments from passerby's.

who's that blond??

Abby arrived on the scene, ready to rock n' roll! Odin jumped in the car, happy to see a blond waiting for him :) next joined, Otto, Pepper & Cookie. we headed to the lake where we met lots of fun pups to play with. Abby, Odin & Cookie did laps around the park while Otto & Pepper took it easy, strolling around with me. Bailey & Afrodyte enjoyed their midday break, full of fresh air & grey skies =| Abby led Muskoka, Princess, Belle, Ben & Jasper into lambton park. Belle & Ben tugged over sticks that we found along our travels, while Abby & Jasper were the welcoming committee to pups that were visiting the park. Muskoka & Princess had minds of their own, wandering & exploring away from the pack! Jake & Dixie were joined by Harley, and campers Maya, Megan & Keisha at Marie Curtis. fetch kept Jake, Maya & Megan entertained while Dixie & Keisha were social with their fellow park pooches. Harley looked for attention in his rain jacket, all prepared for what might come! Mocha & Taffy were ready for a pre-dinner stroll when the others arrived home.. they were happy to have each others company, as they sniffed out new hot spawts :)

Lola went for a jog this morning.. she was very interested in the geese and squirrels that surrounded us on our travels. Mocha & Taffy strolled out for a couple laps, taking care of business right away! Hunter was joined by Bandit, Maya, Megan & Harley at Marie Curtis.. he was obsessed with Bandit and followed close behind at the park. Maya & Megan chased after tennis balls that we stumbled upon on our walk. Odin, Lila, Pepper, Cookie, Belle & Dutch checked out Sorauren Park.. we caused quite a stir that got the park pups interested. our walk was filled with friends, fetch & frolics, all of us having a blast! Muskoka, Molly, Princess, Maddie & Ben went to lampton park and took the trails over. all the pups had a great energy and played well with another! the A Dog's Way pack enjoyed a fun-filled day of walks!!

oh, sunny day!

Harley headed for a mornin' run to keep me company! he was delighted to have one-on-one time :)
Motown, Megan, Maya, Mocha & Taffy took to the streets after breakfast and enjoyed a very peaceful & sunny walk! Lila, Pepper, Dutch, Belle & Ben were off to high park.. the ground was covered with slippery snow & slush but we skated our way around the trails, having a ton of fun! Ben & Dutch found new routes along familiar paths, Lila & Pepper curiously following. Belle got all the pups riled up, and enjoyed frolics with each one. in the afternoon, the ladies...Maddie, Molly, Princess & Muskoka, were off to West Deane Park.. we took our time through the trails, stopping along the way to enjoy the beautiful, sunny day :) spring is in the air!
Bandit joined the troops back at camp, for a rockin' good time!!

good walks to end a great week!

Harley & I started our day with an awesome run.. we went for an extra long lap, fueling up our energy for the day. Atticus, Motown, Megan, Maya, Jake & Dixie enjoyed their morning walk along our fave neighbourhood loop. 

Belle joined Watson for a long, morning stroll, exploring new paths & trails surrounding the humber river. 

Dutch, Lila, Madison, Otto, Pepper and Princess headed to the lake for our afternoon walk. it was a windy one, but we found relief around the park. the pack wandered familiar territory, checking out new scents along the rocky edge. 

Hunter was joined by Muskoka for a leisurely stroll.. we took our time, dancing through the streets to a happy dog beat! :)

the campers were excited for their active afternoon romp with rounds of fetch & chase, leading us into a fun pup-filled weekend!

another beauty day!

the A Dog's Way pack made their arrival known at Marie Curtis.. the vocal group woofed their way in. Atticus, Motown, Jake, Dixie, Maya and Megan entered the park with full energy. Atticus tried to get each dog to play with him, while Motown & Jake tried to get ever person to toss the ball. Dixie, Maya & Megs stayed close, leaving for circles of chase nearby.
Afrodyte really enjoyed her time outside.. she made the most of her walk, looping around the neighbourhood.
Cookie, Otto, Pepper, Odin & Abby headed to the lake for an afternoon romp. Cookie did her long, legged laps while Odin & Abby raced in circles after one another, finding sticks as they played. Otto & Pepper hung out with me in the rays of sunshine! :)
Belle, Muskoka, Princess, Ben, Jasper & Abby went to Lampton Parl for their afternoon romp. we all took our time through the trails, enjoying the beautiful day! they all played together well, taking turns as the 'chased' & 'chaser'. Abby & Jasper snuck away from the group for a dip.. Belle was not impressed she didn't get the heads up when they rejoined the group with a sprinkle shake off. Princess had her nose to the ground with a scavenger hunt on her mind. Belle got all of the pups attention when she found great stick after stick. Ben patrolled the pack, acting as the official 'fun police'! Muskoka was chilling out by the end, taking it easy basking in the sun.
Muskoka & Abby kept Watson company on his sunny afternoon stroll. our walk was calm & peaceful.. a perfect way to end our day!!

Hunter was happily waiting for his late morning stroll.. he hit the top trees, marking along our way. Gwen was still sleeping when she was taken outside for her potty break.. it only took a few moments for the sunshine to wake her up!
Muskoka, Princess, Maddie, Molly and Ben tore into High Park for some well needed fun.. we trekked up & down the hills & trails, enjoying the brisk day.
Dutch, Belle, Odin, Lila, Cookie & Pepper went to Humber Bay Shores and had the park all to themselves until a couple familiar packs joined us for some playful banter.
it was a chilly day but the packs kept moving to stay toasty :)

Abby was in doggy haven at Marie Curtis, Humber Bay Shores and High Park.. she didn't miss a beat, heading to all the parks on the A Dog's Way route today. what a day! 

Nikki, Abby & Harley spent the morning frolicking around Marie Curtis Park.. Abby & Nikki rolled over each other while Harley watched from afar. 

while at the Humber Bay Shores Park, Muskoka, Princess, Megan, Jasper, Ben and Belle did loops around the park chasing each other around from every angle. 

later at High Park, Abby was happy to see more friends Cookie, Odin, Oscar, Otto & Pepper.. we trekked through the trails, exploring scents & sights all around. 

welcomed back with wagging tails & sloppy kisses :)

I was welcomed back with wagging tails and sloppy kisses! Dutch, Pepper, Belle, Ben and Megan explored the lampton park thru & thru.. we found new trails to explore, the pups were adventurous & curious! Afrodyte strutted with her newest purple flower, cute as can be, up & down the street :) Cookie, Lila, Molly, Princess & Maddie tore down the path to the lakeside park. they found all the muddy spots as they chased one another in circles. we all dipped our toes into the lake for a rinse off, as we wrapped up our walk. Muskoka, Odin, Oscar, Hunter, Nikki & Harley were full of energy on our afternoon romp at Marie Curtis. each of the pups found a fave pup to prance around with. Muskoka & Nikki were friends with all, while Hunter followed closely behind Nikki. Odin was more interested in fetch but had many of the pups interested in his game of chase. Oscar found a dane friend and ruffed around.. hugging, putting each other in headlocks & pinning the other to the ground! Harley was happy to find a few wee friends to frolic with! what a lovely day back with my furry friends :)
