just in time... :)

blind melon says it best 'no rain!' :) we got lucky & missed the forecasted rain! Hunter joined the campers for a romp @ Marie Curtis park this morning. it was a nice change of scenery for Hunter, and he followed his nose to explore.
Dutch, Pepper, Lila, Jake, Dixie, Belle & Ben were full of 'monday' energy & did laps at Humber Bay. between the tennis & rubber balls and sticks, there was plenty of fun to keep us chasing!
Dyte didn't go too far today.. but she made sure to stop for the neighbours to give her a pat :)
the lovely ladies.. Princess, Molly, Maddie, Megan & Muskoka, went to Marie Curtis to get out their Monday sillys. they each tore around in circles, happily inviting all the pup visitors!
Harley, Simon, Emery, Drift, Oscar & Nassau hit the streets for a pre-dinner romp.. working up quite the appetite!
yay! we missed the rain, as it misted just as we arrived back to camp!

Milo & Juno arrived with wagging tails to join Megan, Sky & Harley at camp for the day! we headed out to Marie Curtis for a romp.. the pups were playful & enjoyed exploring. before heading home, Megan joined Muskoka, Princess and Maddie for a energetic, yet peaceful walk at lambton woods, near the humber trails. after a frolic, we hung out under the trees, taking in the fresh air & sunshine :) Oscar went for a lap around the block for a midday stretch & potty break. Belle, Dutch, Lila, Otto & Pepper had the company of Dexter, playful boxer, down at the lake. Each took a turn romping around with him. Hunter went for a brisk evening walk.. we kept at a good pace, helping to keep us toasty warm! Milo & Juno were ready to run.. we had a few good rounds of chase & fetch.

burrs all around

the burrs got us all this morning through west deane park. Muskoka was quite the burr-nese when we wrapped up.. her tail attached to me & Sky. we picked ours out while Odin rolled around in the grass to remove his own wee ones. Oscar stayed burr-free & was happy for his short coat.

Dutch & Max tugged over the same giant stick, while Ben chased Belle around, after every twig, stick or log she picked up. Pepper, master of the 'stare down' ... used his techniques with Megan for playful frolics.

the ladies.. Cookie, Lila, Madison, Molly & Princess.. headed to the lake to trail around the paths at Humber Bay Shores Park East. we took a detour along the shore & raced around in the rain! happy pups :)

Hunter & I got the brunt of the rainfall.. we were wet walkers!

A Dog's Way packs walked through West Deane Park, Humber Bay Shores Park West and in & around neighbourhood streets today.. keep an eye out for the 'blue crew' on your adventures!

oh, what a beauty monday! :)

the sun was bright, warming us all on this mid-december day! Sky was dropped off early at camp for a week o' fun.. she headed out with Hunter, Connor & Harley for a sunny, morning romp. a perfect walk to start the day! after that, the pack.. Pepper, Lila, Oscar, Dutch, Ben & Belle were off to high park to meet new friends & explore the trails. midday, Dyte got some fresh ait & puttered down the street, stopping at her fave spots along the way. the ladies were then out this afternoon.. Megan, Muskoka, Maddie, Molly & Princess trekked through lambton woods & james gardens.. taking over all the trails, and even making some new ones of their own. there were lots of pups & their people that stopped to say 'hello' on our travels.

frigid friday, winter is on its way..

Cookie, Cocoa & Harley were excited for their day of pup company & walks. we headed to the lake.. Dutch, Lila, Oscar, Otto & Pepper trekked through a cool & brisk walk, taking it easy on a friday. Dyte got down to business right away & led the way home to curl up, warm in her bed. Ben, Madison, Megan, Muskoka, Princess & Hunter kept moving, keeping warm during their afternoon romp.

there's the sun! :)

the sun woke us all up this morning :) next, arrived Abby.. another ray of sunshine! she greeted Harley, Megan & Maeva with a wagging tail.. we left the cat behind, and headed to Marie Curtis for an early morning romp, pre park. afterwards, we jumped in the car heading out on our first run. Muskoka, Princess, Ben, Max and Otto had Maya, a new friend of the pack, to keep them company at the park. the pups trailed along, exploring & socializing with one another.
Dyte marked her way along the street, strutting her stuff as she moved.
Oscar, Odin, Cookie, Pepper & Abby took over the park with long distance runs & bouts of fetch! the dogs had a riot, enjoying every minute of it! we had a ton of fun :)
Pepper & Cookie were happy to hang out at camp for a wee while this afternoon, taking it easy & laying low. Nassau was happy to head out as light became dark, and the wind whirled around us.. she was even happier after that for dinner time :)

handsome help

Papa B joined the pack, lending a helping hand... the pups very much enjoyed his company :)
when we arrived, we had the park to ourselves.. it was a good thing, because we were quite a vocal crowd. Pepper, Jake, Ben & Megan woofed & howled in playful banter. Jake found the biggest log in the park & insisted that it be thrown. that was a challenge, but one that Papa B did effortlessly.. and Jake was thrilled! Pepper, Ben & Megan followed the friendly frolicks of Cookie & Oscar as they raced through the trees, around corners & up rocks. Otto & Dixie stayed close to me.. Otto taking breaks to chase Pepper & Dixie adding to the chase with the others. the pups all played well together & had a ton of fun!
Muskoka, Odin & Harley enjoyed a leisurely stroll to the park.. where Odin did his 'run & roll' with a squeaker ball, playing fetch til his hearts content! Harley wandered & explored while Muskoka chased the nearby sticks, finding part of a tree that she just didn't want to leave behind. the pups were poopered when we left, and had worked up an appetite for dinner... mmmmm

mellow monday

Ben had all the ladies to himself at high park today.. Madison, Muskoka, Megan, Molly & Princess. what a nice surprise.. we were happily greeted by Cookie & her mum, who joined us for some play time on dog hill. Cookie was only interested in the squirrels, which got Maddie & Princess in play mode, chasing at her heels. Megan, Molly & Muskoka lingered closeby while Ben made himself known at the park. there was a mellow calm over the remainder of the walk, as we explored new nooks & crannies. 
Bailey got dressed up for the rain, keeping him dry for his lazy afternoon. Dyte didn't mind the rain, she walked right through the puddles down the street.
the park was ours.. the lake was motionless & the air was mellow. Cliff & Oscar went hard, playfully dancing with one another.. they both turned to Lila for some low down play. despite her size disadvantage, Lila took on the boys & continued to go back for more. Pepper got involved too.. he followed the frolicks of Cliff & Oscar, joining in when the play got real fun! Dutch watched from afar, enjoying his solitude. after a muddy romp, we all hung out lakeside to rinse our paws & chill out.
Harley joined Hunter for his very rainy stroll. Harley was less than impressed, but trooped out the rain to be alongside his mom <3 Hunter kept moving along, with his nose trailing close to the ground.

who dealt it???

while heading to the park, the dog mobile was filled with a foul smell.. who dealt it??? my bets on Ben.. when I asked, he was full of wagging tails and a curious smirk. hmmm!? Megan & Jasper didn't waste anytime getting into the lake.. both popped back up on shore, very content with themselves! Princess & Pepper tore around in circles after the others, while Cookie did circles around all of us.

Dyte dug her walk.. taking her time around the block. she stopped to sniff between her pitter-patters.

Odin & Muskoka got into a flirty frolick, which ended in me hog-tied & tumbled over. I was then pup piled with loads of wet ones =D Abby & Oscar had all the dogs at the park playing, coming to check in time & time again.. Otto stayed at my heel, content to be close & getting cuddles when near.

it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas..

Hunter, Muskoka, Sporty & Harley headed out to explore new territories.. we took new roads & paths, stopping to sniff out fave spots. The snow started to come down.. Dutch, Cliff, Ben, Max, Oscar, Odin & Megan were charged & ready to go. They all tore around at humber bay through puddles, making mucky treks after yesterdays rainfall. Dyte wandered up & down the street.. she took her sweet time, enjoying her midday outing. I knew the muddy paths from our earlier walk at the lake, so Cookie, Lila, Madison, Molly, Princess & Pepper trailed through tall grasses & explored new areas, keeping paws as clean as possible. it was worth a try!

singing in the rain!

the rain didn't let up once today! and, we had the park to ourselves on both walks!!
the pups went wild in the rain.. splashing through puddles, racing around including each member of the pack in the chase. the groups were cohesive & we had a ton of fun, with rain day play :)
Dyte was less than impressed & made it a quick one! I didn't blame the diva!
Harley & Sporty went for rainy run.. it came down hard, but that didn't stop us!

taken it easy

we took it easy & enjoyed our walks.. Oscar ventured to meet new friends, not stopping once during our walk. Dutch & Muskoka stayed closeby, loving constant cuddles. Molly, Megan, Maddie & Princess chased in circles, enjoying when new pals came to joined in.

the sun was out and the air was brisk down at the lake this morning with Ferris, Rex, Sinclair & Harley. we ran around the grounds, keeping us warm & active. Bailey enjoyed his one-on-one walk before heading home after a couple of days at camp.
Belle, Dutch, Oscar, Otto and Pepper sprung from the car with excitement when we arrived at the humber bay shores park for their walk. the sun was shining over the lake.. it was picturesque & the pack took in nature's beauty as we played.
Samson, pup pal from another pack, joined lady friends Madison, Megan and Princess for a trek through the trails at James Gardens. we found a perfect spot to run through the leaves & trees.. the pups were happy as can be! and so was I  :)
Muskoka sauntered down the street taking care of business close to home. she had a break from the pack and took it easy, enjoying having me all to herself!
Hunter & I kept it short on our evening outing.. it was a peaceful walk taking us into the weekend.

it's unofficially winter

Hunter was pleased to see old friends Ferris, Rex, Sinclair & Harley.. they had come to join him for his morning walk. he yawned & stretched, then was ready to go!
as the pack arrived at the lake, we were greeted by other packs & familiar faces on their way out.. all the pups had a friendly frolick, then headed into the park to take over the grounds. Princess was playful with Lila, starting a good chase that Belle was happy to join in. Ben led a circle race that got Megan, Molly & Maddie's attention. the crew tore around the park racing & chasing around with one another. it was great to see all the pups so interactive with each other.
our time at garnetwoods was filled with fun & frolicks! Oscar found other puppies his age.. they ran & played happily together. Cliff & Cookie were like brother & sister on the field.. they 'ruff'ed around with each other, in a playful banter. Muskoka guided me to who she wanted to see & smell.. I took her lead. Odin was quite content fetching the ball throughout the park.. he rolled around over top it, happy as can be! Dutch took it easy, resting at spots with the nearest ball.. it was a great surprise when he puttered pass a kong! Pepper was social with friends at the park, woofing to initiate play with them.
Nassau trotted on our brisk evening walk, and enjoyed a surprise visit to camp a dog's way :)

laying in the leaves

Ferris, Rex & Sinclair were surrounded by leaves at camp this morning.. Sinclair & Rex jumped through them while Ferris found a comfy spot on a pile.
Cookie, Otto, Odin, Jake, Dixie & Oscar were excited to get to the lake. the sun was shining, making for a perfect walk! Cookie took off running far & wide, while Otto & Dixie didn't stray from my side. they pranced beside me, trailing through. Odin & Jake took turns sharing their tennis balls with others at the park. many were interested in a game of chase & fetch.. let's just say, the A Dog's Way pack came out on top :) Oscar found a viszla puppy friend, Amber from another crew, and the two were inseperable. to end our walk off, we hung out by the lake, dipping our paws to refresh!
Princess, Muskoka, Megan, Jasper, Ben & Belle were joined by some of their favourite friends from familiar packs. we all travelled through the humber bay shores as a cohesive pack, enjoying each others company.
Nassau was happy for her late day walk.. enjoying a stretch, potty & bite!
back at camp, the troops headed out for a brisk walk while the sun set.. great walk to end the day!

who's that girl? la la la la la la la la la la la

Harley, Chanel & Prada were up before the sun and headed out for an early mornin' run to work up an appetite. we all had a bite before welcoming Ferris, Rex & Sinclair to camp.. and then hit the road to the nearest dog park. the pups ran at full speed enjoying all of the space at Marie Curtis to themselves. it was a peaceful start to our day :)
Hunter wandered through the neighbourhood, taking his time to sniff out his fave spots.
Belle, Ben, Cliff, Megan, Molly & Princess enjoyed a walk full of sticks & frolicks! each had their own game of fun, tossing around a stick or chasing around each other.
Afrodyte didn't go too far.. she wanted to stay close to home, beside mom's side.
Lila, Muskoka, Pepper & Oscar explored Marie Curtis park, where there were new friends to meet & play with. the pack almost didn't recognize Lila, with her new 'do.. she looked like a completely different dog but proved her identity with her usual playfulness & sas. Oscar was happy to see his little friend.. he laid low on the ground so he could be at Lila's level. Pepper tried to get Howard, a park friend's attention with woofs, which showed to be unsuccessful. Muskoka stayed close watching the others, excited when they tore by for a check-in.

today we remember...

the pups & I took a moment of silence to remember on the 11th day of the 11th month in the 11th year. we put out special thoughts at 11:11 too.

too much fun!

Harley, Connor, Prada & Chanel took me for a run this morning! the squirrels were our driving force.. no probs keeping momentum :)

Cookie, Princess, Madison, Molly, Megan & Muskoka took their adventures to the lake. Cookie & Priness found many friends to frolick with at the park, while Madison, Molly, Megan & Muskoka stayed close to me strolling about. the pups enjoyed tasty treats, the perfect touch for their outing.

Bailey & Dyte took care of business on their midday break.. both got lots of cuddles which made us all happy =D

Cookie asked to tag along with her friends at high park because she wasn't ready to go home yet.. she joined Cliff, Belle, Ben, Odin & Oscar for dog hill fun! we stopped in, for a race around before exploring new paths.

Nassau didn't mind the rain one bit, she even took extra time to find that perfect potty spot!

Hunter had company from Harley, Connor, Prada & Chanel for his dark & stormy stroll. the rain let up for us but we still splashed through the puddles, dancing in the rain!

a case of the crazies

at Camp A Dog's Way, we started our morning with a run.. Harley, Prada, Chanel & Connor made their way through the streets with wagging tails & hanging tongues!
Otto, Belle, Ben, Megan, Princess & Cookie headed to the lake, arriving to a park full of pups. in just a short while, we had the park all to ourselves! the pups were spoiled with fetch, treats & even an extra long lakeside stroll along the waters edge.
Dyte didn't want to spend much time on her walk.. so we hung out on the front porch for cuddles & belly rubs :)
Muskoka, Oscar, Odin, Jake & Dixie went to Marie Curtis park for their afternoon adventures. Oscar made friends quickly & spent his time frolicking with other visiting pups.. there was no looking back! Odin & Jake were fetch obsessed, each having their own tennis ball to chase. Jake got bored with the ball and brought me a stick to throw instead.. Dixie liked this game, she chased Jake back & forth as he ran for the toss. Muskoka was eager to play with surrounding pups but took it easy close by my side.. at points, she rested on my feet, helping to keep them warm :)
when I arrived back at camp, the pups had a case of the crazies!!! we turned right back out to the nearest park to get them all out! there were lots of new pups to meet & the pups worked up an appetite.
Nassau was excited when I arrived at the end of the day.. she was ready for a walk & dinner! we crossed paths with pups & people, stopping to say hello to her faves

all about the dogz

Hunter heard me coming & raced up the stairs to greet me for our walk. we went offleash through the fields where he followed his beagle nose, sniffing out adventures!
at the parks...
Dutch took it easy, chillin' in the shade under the trees.
while Ben, Cliff, Belle & Princess tore around in circles & figure eights after one another.
and Megan, Molly & Maddie stayed close, making sure to get all the lovin' they could!
back at camp, Odin & Oscar stopped in for a visit before their walk. the pups had a good frolick & enjoyed the warmer, november temps!

what a great day of walks! Harley, Wedge & Lucky headed out for a lap around the neighbourhood stopping for sniffs at the 'hot spot' trees & posts.
today, we had to say farewell to one of our fave fun pups, Brady. he will be flying out to vancouver this weekend to find new adventures & furry friends by the ocean. I arrived at Brady's to start our trek with some one-on-one time. Brady & I walked through the streets, picking up Otto & Lila along the way. we took a parkette over for some sunny rounds of fetch.. Brady dominated the game, showing his skills & speed to the other wee ones. Otto & Lila were happy to keep Brady company along his final treks with A Dog's Way. Brady & I took a few to say our goodbyes with cuddles & kisses. we will all miss Brady very much but look forward to hearing about his exciting new adventures afar.
Belle, Cliff, Madison, Max, Megan & Princess frolicked & fetched under the sunny skies at dog hill in high park. we made our way through the trails, enjoying the beautiful day!
Muskoka, Hunter, Wedge, Lucky & Harley joined each other for a late day stroll.. the pups took it easy & leisurely strutted through the streets.

a new day

Watson was happy to have ladies, Megan & Abby, join him on his walk. he sniffed them out before walking side by side with them. Ben, Belle, Cookie, Lila, Otto & Princess stormed down the path heading the humber bay shores park. we ran into pack mate, Oscar & fave dog park friend, Picaso.. all the pups had a wonderful time playing with each other & the people around. Muskoka & Odin headed to camp a dog's way before heading out with Harley, Wedge & Lucky to trek nearby the etobicoke creek.

trails full of surprises!

Harley & I hit the streets for a run early this am. we jumped into the car after that to pick up Odin, Jake, Dixie, Muskoka & Megan. we headed to the lambton wood trails.. on our way in, Odin jumped in the bush surprised to see a deer.. she jumped out onto the trail in front of us, surprised to see Odin as well. great surprises to start the walk! we found ravines & streams through our trek, stopping for some offleash frolicks.
Bailey took in the fresh air & sunshine on his lakeside stroll.
Ben, Jasper, Princess, Lila, Otto & Cookie were happy to see that the sunshine came out to join us by the lake. our pack was full of energy & there were loads of pups at the park to play with. they all took turn do-si-do'ing around with each other.
Belle & Hendricks picked up Nassau on the way to the boardwalk.. the trio fanned out alongside & were great company for our walk :)

high park weekend fun!

Harley, Simon, Connor, Lily, Miko & Cliff went wild at high park all weekend! Simon, Connor & Cliff were typical boys, ruffing around through the trails. Harley, Miko & Lily watched from the side lines, leisurely strolling.

today was a mess!! each dog had their fair share of mucky paws & I was covered in their prints by the end of the day :) just one of the pack!

today started with sunshine.. Ursus, Eiger, Simon & Harley were eager to set paw on their morning walk. the pups spanned out along my side, taking over each sidewalk.
Muskoka, Odin, Jake & Dixie walked along the lake, delighted to find out the new offleash area at Marie Curtis is open. we took a spin through, Odin & Jake taking turns playing fetch while Dixie & Muskoka 'ruffed' around nearby.
Dyte sniffed her way through her midday stroll.. she was happy to get a belly rub afterwards.
we had the humber bay shores park all to ourselves.. Cookie, Lila, Ben, Jasper, Otto & Princess tore around, playing with the pack & each wandering on their own. Lila wanted to play with Otto, he wasn't having any if it.. Cookie & Ben were all for play with Lila. Jasper took breaks for dips in the lake while Princess followed behind the pack.
Hendricks, Belle & Cliff jogged to high park, enjoying offleash time through the trails. the trio was full of energy & bounded through their walk. we took the zoo route out of high park.. Hendricks wasn't phased by the unfamiliar animals, while Belle was frightened by the bisons & Cliff barked at them as we passed.

hiking for hours

the A Dog's Way pack headed to the bruce trails for an afternoon full of adventures.. jumping through leaves & splashing through puddles. the pups slept for the rest of the day once we got back to camp.

the pack bundled up this am & Motown, Harley, Simon, Sky & Ben headed out for a brisk walk & jog, keeping warm! Hunter had the coffee brewed, waiting for me.. he had to be awoken from his late morning slumber. Oscar was born ready to run.. it just took a little focus to get him started. we jogged around neighbourhood, taking breaks to stop & smell the roses! he's officially a big boy now...he lifted his leg to pee, we celebrated!! Dyte ended her outing with a full body scratch.. she was a happy girl! Brady, Otto, Lila & Maddie had a change of scenery on their Bloor St area stroll while Belle, Hendrix, Cliff & Dutch walked along the parkdale sidewalks for some offleash fun at Sorauren park.

Camp A Dog's Way said so long to Wedge, Lucky & Cookie.. hello to Motown, Sky & Ben.. and g'day to Abby! our morning was off to a playful start when Abby arrived on the scene.. she rallied up her fellow troops Motown, Sky, Cookie & Harley for a walk. Oscar, Odin, Lila, Otto, Pepper & Abby followed the Humber Bay Shore Park East trails along the lake. we splashed through the puddles as the pups explored the exciting new scene. Dyte had an extra long lunch outing, taking time walking through her neighbourhood. Hendrix, Belle, Cliff, Jasper, Cookie & Abby were blown away by the lake. the boardwalk was all ours other than a few people, who cleared the way for us. Jake, Dixie, Muskoka & Ben could hardly wait to get walking.. the pups were full of wagging tails!

the waves are rockin'

Hunter was joined by Wedge, Lucky, Harley & Cookie for his morning stroll.. he was happy to have the company of fur-iends. Madison, Lila, Cookie, Molly, Brady & Pepper watched the crashing waves as we walked into the humber bay park. we stayed away from the shore, making sure all the pups remained on dry land. the pack circled the park.. Brady played fetch, while Maddie chased him. Cookie did laps around the group, while Pepper, Lila & Molly stayed close & were playful with passing pooches. dyte missed the rain.. but Oscar, Muskoka & Odin weren't so lucky, we didn't mind too much! Muskoka stayed close, looking for a pat every chance I glanced her way. Odin perfected his 'slide & roll' through the tall grasses in the fields. Oscar, the puppy, admired Odin & Muskoka, big dogs!
Ben, Hendrix, Cliff, Belle & Dutch trekked through high park.. each making new trails of their own. the park was quiet & we enjoyed the sights & sound of nature.

off to a great start...

after Harley's mornin' run.. he strolled around with Cookie, Wedge & Lucky.
Watson & Bailey enjoyed a leisurely lakeside lap of their own. Watson kept a tight hold on his treat as we walked, while Bailey left his at home for an after-walk snack. the ol' guys took in the fresh air & sunshine. Dyte took her time sniffing out the plants & trees through the streets.. as she pattered her wee feet!
at the park.. Muskoka charmed her way into everyones lap for a pat. Odin & Jake were toy obsessed & spent their time chasing fun. Dixie, Lila & Pepper took turns playing with each other.. staying close by my side, where Otto walked faithfully. Oscar the boxer pup spread his 'puppy love' to all his pack members.. they accepted his kid manners :)
the pack was a wild bunch at high park. Jasper, Cookie, Ben, Belle, Hendrix & Cliff thundered through the trails, tearing around every corner. the pups barely stopped to look back!
Nassau was polite when passing the neighbourhood pooches. she let loose today & playfully frolicked in the fields. Pepper was lakeside for his early evening stretch. the air was crisp off the water.
Harley wrapped up his day the way he started.. with a brisk run! happy pup =)

falling leaves

Harley & I headed out first thing this am for a sunny run! he was happy as can be to have 'mommy & me' time. we picked up his pals.. Keisha, Cookie, Wedge & Lucky for a leisurely neighbourhood romp.
Muskoka, Pepper, Lila, Oscar, Molly, Maddie & Brady headed to garnetwoods park.. the pack were very playful with one another. Brady was the top dog in fetch, Maddie chased close behind but didn't get to the ball first once. Pepper & Oscar were very excited to see friendly, Lila. the three trotted around the park taking turns playing with each other. Molly & Muskoka stayed closeby, making sure to be part of ALL the action.
Belle, Ben & Dutch saw the lakeside sights, even downtowns skyline during our afternoon outing. we trekked through the king west & roncesvalles neighbourhoods, passing by all the hot s'paw'ts!
Hunter was waiting patiently at the door when I arrived. he was full of energy.. so he walked & jogged alongside, through his 'hood!

the pups & I piled into the dog mobile and headed to the bruce trails. we each enjoyed an adventure, exploring through our travels. we welcomed Roxy back to the pack.. Rex, Sinclair & Ben raced around in circles with Roxy, every time we stopped. Ferris, Muskoka, Keisha, Harley stayed close while Dutch lagged behind. towards the end of our journey, the group walked single file behind me. what a great thanksgiving hike!!

rain, rain, go away!

Harley, Muskoka, Ferris, Rex & Sinclair headed out early to explore the neighbourhoods sights, sounds & smells. Pepper was happy to see old friends Ben, Dutch & Ben and meeting new ones, Hendrix & Cliff. we walked lakeside, taking dips in the water & laps around the park. Dyte made it a quick one, excited to get back on the couch to watch hockey. Oscar, Lila, Molly, Maddie, Princess & Brady were happy to hit the lake. each pup took part in a chase with another, and/or fetch after the chuckit. Hunter took a late night leisurely stroll, sniffing out his fave spots.

monday crazies

Harley, Connor & Lily chased eached other around the park on our early morning romp, helping Harley & Connor gear up for the run to come. Cookie & Bailey headed out lakeside for an early day stroll.. the sun was shining off the lake. Lila, Molly, Princess, Maddie, Brady & Muskoka headed to Garnetwoods for an active romp & social time with the other pups & their people. the pups chilled under the trees relaxing in the shade, taking breaks from fetch & circles in the park. Afrodyte took time on her midday stretch, sniffing out the neighbourhood every inch she walked. Oscar, new comer boxer puppy, joined Ben, Hendricks, Belle & Dutch at the lake for a walk. Oscar was ecstatic meeting his new pack & happy to run into his gal puppy pal, Lola. Between swiming, chasing & fetching.. the monday crazies kept the pups up to speed with one another. Nassau headed out for a breath of fresh air & took care of business. Hunter was waiting patiently for me when I arrived for his walk.. we wandered the neighbourhood, taking a new scenic route!

Keeper's memorial hike

the crew packed up bright & early to attend Keeper's memorial hike.. we got decked out in hiking gear, ready for an adventure! the scotsdale farm was lined with trails, full of plenty nooks & crannies for the pups to explore. Ben, Molly & Connor were re-united with old friends to frolick with, while Harley, Lily & Cookie met many new ones. along our travels, the pups found mud pits to splash through and tall grasses to race through. it was a perfect day for a hike!

fall fresh breeze

Abby bounded with energy into Camp A Dog's Way bright & early, ready to head out for her first walk with Harley & Zok. we explored the neighbourhood on a lesiurely stroll.
then.. at the lake, Cliff, Belle, Ben, Princess, Cookie & Jasper were full of fall fresh energy and tore around after one another in circles. all the pups were sooo happy! we circled the park, taking breaks for dips in the lake.
Abby joined Watson for a midday walk through the trails by the humber river. Dyte was happy to take care of business & to take in the fresh fall air on her midday potty break.
at garnetwoods.. Jake, Dixie, Odin, Muskoka, Lila & Otto were all up for games of fetch, either with one another or the tons of tennis balls at the park. Jake, Odin & Otto rolled around, running back & forth after balls, while Dixie & Lila chased in circles. Muskoka was interested in meeting all other pups & their people for a scratch.

well, it finally did! and just in time for Harley, Taffy & Pork Chop's pre-dinner neighbourhood stroll.
Abby arrived this morning & investigated every new smell, since she left camp. After a romp around, she headed out with Harley, Taffy & Pork Chop for a walk. Cookie, Princess, Belle, Ben, Jasper & Abby hit the trails at High Park to check out the scene. They explored the new changes at the park, travelling around as a cohesive pack. Dyte took care of business right away & took in the fresh air for the rest of her potty break. Muskoka, Odin, Otto & Lila then accompanied Abby for an afternoon outing. The rain held off as we walked along, making our path.

couldn't ask for a better day to walk! Zok, Mocha & Taffy headed out early to scout the neighbourhood. Harley, Pyro & Ben greeted Milo & Juno for their fun day at camp. they all enjoyed a long morning walk. Otto, Roxy, Lila, Belle, Jasper & Cookie flew out of the car, running towards the park. they each did what their hearts desired.. Otto & Lila stayed closely while Roxy & Cookie ran at large. Belle & Jasper made a splash in the lake. Bailey & Afrodyte took in the fresh air & sunshine during their midday break. Odin, Jake, Dixie & Muskoka took over the path along the creek at west deane park. we cooled our paws off in the water & dried our coats in the grass. when returning to camp.. Milo & Juno were full of play, ready for their company from the other campers. we continued walks, taking in the gorgeous day!

rain, rain.. stay away!

after last night's storm, there were a few pups doing the 'stay away' rain dance. Harley, Cookie & Pyro joined Ben, Jasper & Roxy for a lakeside romp. the pups were social and enjoyed meeting other pooches.
Muskoka, Odin, Jake & Dixie followed the trails along the creek, enjoying fun in & out of the water.

the rain came to a stop once we hit the offleash area in liberty village. Brady, Ben, Molly, Roxy, Dutch & Rocky sniffed around the new surroundings and took over the streets, putting smiles on the faces we passed.
Dyte & Muskoka were happy to have cuddle breaks while out for fresh air on their midday stretch.
Odin, Cliff, Cookie, Sky & Harley were full of fetch with sticks & tennis balls at the park. they each raced around, then found comfy spots to roll in the grass. we then headed out for a leisurely stroll.

Cookie, Sky & Harley headed out early day for a run.. then enjoyed frolics back at camp!
when I showed up to walk Dyte, we were matching in purple! she took her time on the walk, stopping to sniff out her favourite spots along the way.
Molly, Brady, Ben & Dutch found excitement and fun on the trails at high park. Molly hit the water first while Brady was at the top of his game with a few tosses of fetch, here & there. Ben chased Brady at times, and explored with Dutch at others.
Muskoka trekked through the fields, stopping for belly rubs & sniffs.

cottage-bound!!!! =D

Harley, Abby, Cookie & Sky packed up & headed to the cottage bright & early Saturday morning. we made it just in time for a sunny swim in the lake. we all jumped in, making a great big splash. Abby & Sky fetched while Cookie & Harley waded. we enjoyed a relaxing afternoon, kickin' back cottage-style.
the pups got fresh & clean, each having a special spaw time.
Cookie & Abby couldn't be happier to spend time with their bestie! Sky & Harley joined in the play at their leisure =)

perfectly calm & collected

Nikki, Cookie, Abby, Sky, Rocky & Harley were a good lookin' pack walking through the neighbourhoods in alderwood. they all walked well with each other, taking over the sidewalks as we passed by.
Watson was excited for his early day romp. he was full of confidence and strutted his stuff while we walked.
Ben, Belle, Roxy & Otto enjoyed the sunshine lakeside. we hit the beach taking breaks to trek through the park.
Odin & Muskoka splashed through the Etobicoke creek and laid in the grass.. just a couple of the highlights from a perfect walk!

I love dogs

Ben, Belle, Roxy & Otto welcomed Cliff to the pack for a romp at the lake. Cliff enjoyed meeting new friends while he splashed around with Ben & Belle, chased Roxy through the high grasses and checked in with Otto lakeside.
Bailey and Dyte enjoyed their midday breaks of fresh air & sunshine while Lucy enjoyed my company & handful of delicious treats...mmm
Odin, Jake, Dixie & Muskoka headed to west deane park for a walk along the trails and in the creek. it was a peaceful walk and we all enjoyed!

brand new week!

today.. Harley, Abby, Cookie, Cape & Rocky headed out first thing for a neighbourhood adventure! Abby, Cape & Rocky made many stops along the way to sniff out the pee-mail. Cookie took the lead of the pack for the best view of the squirrels. Harley was on full alert, swerving away from giant paws.
Roxy, Pepper, Molly, Princess & Brady headed to Lambton woods for an earthy walk.. the park was green & covered with plantlife. we left trails through the dirt paths. Brady played fetch while the others chased after him. we found a shady spot to chill once the pups tired.
Muskoka & Dyte enjoyed sunshine on their potty breaks while Watson & Bailey got caught in the rain. Lucy had a quick visit where she got spoiled with ham & cuddles.
Dutch, Belle & Ben headed to the offleash park but found the kids playground more appealing. they tore through, chasing each other around the children with Belle making a big splash in the wading pool! the pups were escorted away & walked along Bloor St to window gaze.

Afrodyte & Bailey trooped out the rain on their neighbourhood adventures.
we had the park to ourselves!! as the rain came down, the pups & I splashed through puddles. Otto & Jasper showed up this week with new 'dos. they both looked great!! Pepper was happy to play with his new friends while Belle, Ben, Cookie & Odin tore through the park.. all the pups, making a rainy day in the park - awesome! Muskoka preferred to have her belly rubbed, instead of going for a walk. we met half way and enjoyed both!

Abby & Harley had a day full of adventure! They were joined by Brady, Princess, Molly & Roxy for a romp at the lake. All the dogs were very playful and made friends with other pups at the park. they all came to my rescue when a wasp took a bite. At High Park.. Abby & Harley had the company of Ben, Belle & Dutch. We explored the trails and all stayed together as a pack! Emery & Drift came to camp and headed straight out for a walk with Hunter... great way to start their visit! Hunter was happy to have new friends join him.

Harley, Abby & Charlie romp & relaxed this morn before heading out for a stroll. they headed back home for a tasty treat before their snooze. Roxy, Dutch & Rocky headed to Trinity Bellwoods to walk along the trails and visit the offleash area.
Odin, Belle, Ben, Cookie & Princess headed to the lake for an afternoon dip and run. the dogs splashed around, having a blast with one another.
Hunter was happy for some one-on-one time while we walked through his neighbourhood together.

Harley & Charlie awoke to a morning run.. later joined by Nikki on their neighbourhood stroll.
Roxy, Cookie, Molly, Brady, Ben & Belle headed to the lake at humber bay park. Belle & Brady were only interested in fetch in the lake, I couldn't even get Belle out with 'treat'. Ben, Cookie, Molly & Roxy took breaks from splashing around & did laps through the park.
Pepper, Bailey & Dyte took it easy under the midday sun while out for their potty breaks.
to end the day.. Nikki, Charlie & Harley went for a swim in the Etobicoke Creek. When Nikki & Charlie left the ball water-logged, Harley was fixed on getting it. he put such a great effort but the ball was too big to grab. Nikki helped him out and brought it back to shore...he lost his interest at that point, of course!

Harley & Charlie headed out early morn for their neighbourhood stroll. The air was still a wee cool & made for a comfortable walk.
Otto, Roxy, Cookie, Belle & Jasper were delighted for their carrot snacks.. Ben preferred the peanut butter paws. We headed to the lake where the breeze kept us cool as the waves crashed at us. A perfect way to spend a steamy day  :)
Pepper, Afrodyte & Muskoka exhausted early on their midday stretch.. but the heat was enjoyed before heading back home.
Jake, Dixie, Charlie & Harley trailed through Marie Curtis taking time to catching some waves at the beach. The pups were happy with wagging tails & hanging tongues.

G'day pet owners.. the A Dog's Way pack has been enjoying the summer & many great outdoor adventures. it's time we fill you in...
Harley headed our for an early day run, great wake up! Odin, Roxy, Molly, Cookie, Ben & Dutch set out to the lake with wagging tails. leave it up to my pups to find coconut on the beach! Molly proudly came with half a coconut to show me her find. Cookie found the coconut meat and was enjoying a tasty snack until I was onto her. Roxy, Ben and Odin were full of energy and had a blast running around with each other. Dutch found a comfy spot along the waters edge.
Afrodyte was joined by Odin on her street stroll.. she was happy to meet this gentle guy :)
Lucy was excited for her midday snack.
Muskoka was eager to sniff our her neighborhood while out for her afternoon stretch. she cooled off with ice cubes when returning home.

Oh where, oh where, is that bright circle in the sky..?

Bella exhausted herself before 9am today...she raced around, playing with every toy she could. Belle & Joey tugged over sticks at the park. Odin rolled around in the dirt, getting up afterwards, oh so proud! Muskoka & Otto stayed close, eager to please.. Their big brown eyes looked at me for treats :) Cookie & Roxy had the others at the park running, Ben followed close behind woofing to keep the others on their pads. Angel, Molly, Duncan, Pepper and Dyte weren't too bothered by the light mist that fell during their potty breaks. Harley will welcome Milo & Juno at Camp A Dog's Way this afternoon!

the ladies lead the day!

Morning run's are a great way to kick start the day.. Bella & Harley raced through the neighbourhood, stopping to take care of business. All lovely ladies.. Muskoka, Princess, Maddie, Molly, Roxy, Joey & Abby pranced around Garnetwoods, following closely and staying near to one another. Ben, Belle & Dutch walked along Bloor Street making a stop at the Beresford off-leash area for #2's.

Bella, Ruby and Harley enjoyed their morning run, which kickstarted their day! Muskoka, Princess, Maddie, Molly, Cookie and Roxy raced around the lakeside park. The wind was so strong, the waves were crashing up on shore. Molly, Angel, Pepper and Dyte took in the sunshine while out for their mid-day potty breaks. Dutch, Ben, Belle, Joey and Odin had a tag along pup, Marley. She joined the pack during our walk along the trails at High Park. Our drive through the park was picturesque, covered with a beautiful landscape of cherry blossoms. The trio of A Dog's Way campers headed to keep Hunter company on his late afternoon stroll. Bella was ecstatic to find another pup who actually wanted to play!

Spring has arrived!!!

Harley & Ruby leashed up and headed out for a bright & early morning run. Abby arrived with playful frolicks in sight. Roxy, Muskoka, Jake, Dixie and Joey stormed in Garnetwoods Park getting all the other pups attention. Afrodyte, Watson and Pepper enjoyed their sunny mid-day break. Dutch, Belle, Ben, Molly, Maddie and Abby were happy to dip their toes into the lake on our way out of Humber Bay Shores Park East. All the pups were ready for a nap after an active romp. Hunter wrapped up his day with an after-dinner stroll.

We headed out bright and early for the pups to be walked. For the most part, we missed the unsettled weather midday had for us. Looking forward to a sun-shining weekend!

the SUN!!! The A Dog's Way pack was excited to see the sun, finally! It made for a day full of great pup times & walks!  :)

Another rainy day! Bah-humbug.

Otto, Rocky, Belle, Ben, Jasper and Cookie headed to the lake and had the park to themselves. They all raced around, happy to be a pack! Jake, Dixie, Odin, Joey, Cally and Muskoka walked along the Etobicoke Creek trails... We were all soaked by the end! The rain slowed for Hunter's walk in the late afternoon.

Abby, Cally, Roxy, Molly, Maddie and Muskoka started their day full of energy. All were bursting with excitement to see one another after the weekend. We headed to Garnetwoods where Cally, Abby and Roxy found toys and other pooches to play with. Molly, Maddie and Muskoka stayed closeby. Maddie showed off her new 'do... she looked like a completely different dog! Molly and Muskoka pined for my attention, so many cuddles took place. Maddie was happy to join in those!
Afrodyte was interested more in cuddles than an active walk. The sun started to come out for us! Watson and Pepper took their time enjoying the fresh air. Lucy peeked from under her fave blanket when I arrived for a visit. Watson was shy at first but warmed up, happy to see the sun after the morning rain.
Joey, Dutch, Belle, Ben, Abby and Cally headed to Colonel Smith park for an afternoon romp. Joey, Belle, Abby and Cally played musical tennis ball and all took turns with it. Belle and Joey even managed to hang onto the same tennis ball at once. Ben followed close behind, taking turns initiating play with each. Dutch liked the lil ones at the park...he stood over them, drooling.
Harley, Taffy and Cally were happy to be out just in time for the early evening sun.. we all thought, where's spring..?  :)
Cally and Taffy finished their evening off with a playful banter with each other. Both were very affectionate and played well.

Milo, Juno & Sporty arrived at Camp A Dog's Way for a visit. We picked up Otto, Muskoka & Roxy and headed to the park. All pups were very social, making their rounds with all the other pooches. Cookie, Rocky, Dutch, Belle and Ben headed High Park for an afternoon outing. The trails were filled with fun and frolicks. Great walks!

whoa! up, up and away!!

Whoa! Windy walks!!! Hunter & Dante strongly pushed through the winds that whipped around us. Belle, Cookie, Rocky, Jasper, Ben and Roxy braved it out and headed to the lake. The waves were crashing up on the rocks and misted around us. The park was muddy.. but the pups raced through, with no care of the whirly winds. Watson & Pepper kept their teeny paws grounded while walking lakeside. Otto, Muskoka, Odin and Joey dashed through the fields, taking care of business right away. After, we walked through neighbourhoods.. picking up sticks, meeting passing pups and just enjoying the walk.

All prepared for nothin'!

We were all prepared for the worst of the weather, but were lucky that the pouring rain held off until after the A Dog's Way packs were finished walks  :)

Harley has the right idea!

Hunter and Dante leisurely strolled around the neighbourhood, taking it easy with each stride. Cookie, Roxy, Jasper, Ben, Belle and Rocky watched the down pour from inside the dogmobile. The rain stopped just as we arrived to High Park...lucky us! The sun tried to peak out while Afrodyte, Pepper and Duncan headed out for their potty breaks. At Garnetwoods.. we arrived just as the rain started to come down. Joey, Jake, Dixie, Muskoka, Odin didn't seem to mind one bit.. Otto stayed close, happy to have his jacket and Harley had the right idea... he took shelter in the dog house at the park.

Ursus, Eiger, Odin & Harley headed out for an enjoyable and long walk, to start the week off on the right paw. Joey, Belle, Dutch, Muskoka, Roxy and Molly headed to High Park for their walk. Muskoka was first joined on-leash by Roxy, who was a social butterfly and wanted to play with every other pup but her pack in the park. Next came Belle, who was having too much fun in the water along Spring Road. After that, Joey went full speed through the trails and then joined the others. Molly and Dutch stuck behind watching the others, who each had a case of the 'mondays'. We got back to the car just in the nick of time.. as the rain started to come down.

Happy Easter

The boys are in full bloom and are having a great weekend! Harley, Odin, Ursus & Eiger started their day at Jack Darling park then headed to the Beach for a long stroll along the boardwalk. We hit the offleash park and lake before strutting through the streets ahead of the Easter Parade coming through. The pups enjoyed the afternoon easter festivities with the fam on the back deck. happy pups!!!

Belle joined Odin & Harley for an afternoon in High Park. Belle & Odin, happy pups.. rolled around in the dirt...I was started to think yellow lab was trying to be a little more like black lab, Odin. Fun frolicks!

a day of adventures

Cookie was on quite an adventure today, she was focused on the sounds of spring and the frolicks of squirrels. Jasper, Roxy and Ben kept close to her, excited to follow what she chased. Belle watched at the tops of hills for the others to come by.. and then she pounced. Rocky gknawed on sticks, breaking them in bits with one bite.
Joey, Otto, Muskoka, Odin and Harley were excited to go for their walk. All took care of business and strutted down the street like they owned it.

Murphy's Law!

Odin, Harley, Cookie, Joey, Roxy and Muskoka went to Garnetwoods and had the park to themselves. All was calm and the pups took their time exploring the grounds. Tory, Belle, Ben, Dutch, Maddie and Molly were interested in the smells as well. They all sniffed out their own path. The dogs were peacefully engaged in nature today!

april showers,,,

Hunter & Dante came rolling down the stairs to hit the streets. The rain surfaced many smells to keep occupied. Cookie, Jasper, Ben, Belle, Rocky and Muskoka arrived at prime park time. The pups had lots of company to play with and chase around. Tongues were hanging out the side of their mouths on our way out.
Bailey & Duncan watched over the wide spread of colours through the lake. Watson took his time lakeside, stopping at every tree along the way. Afrodyte led the way and took me for a walk.
Otto, Joey, Jake, Dixie, Odin & Harley surrounded me as we walked, and took turns taking the lead of the pack.

monday madness

The dogs were full of fun energy and had a riot running through the paths and hills. They all were in a playful mood and happy to see their friends after the weekend.

bright and warm sun

Hunter & Dante were wide awake for their morning walk. Otto, Roxy, Rocky, Ben & Jasper ran through the valley up and down the hills. They each took part in exploring nature, a pup chase and a turn at leading the pack. On Teddy Bear's outing, he found a great big stick and looked for me to chase him. Afrodyte was very curious and stopped many times to watch people as they were. Odin, Joey, Muskoka, Cally, Harley and Prada had an afternoon romp before heading out for thei walk. The pups had big smiles on their face and just looking at them, made me happy!  :D

I wish I had 6 hands!

I wish I had more hands, 6 to be exact! While out and about with the pups, I took time with each for cuddles. All were very loving and at times, I had to go back and forth from pooch to pooch because all wanted attention at once. Always great to show up to a wagging tail....lucky me!

just keep walking, just keep walking..

Harley, Prada and Cally (the newest camper at Camp A Dog's Way) took a romp through the streets as the day began. Roxy, Rocky, Ben, Jasper, Otto & Muskoka were happy to hike through the fields at Lambton Park. The dogs were electric and brought a huge smile to my face. All were loving the new spring air and we took breaks for cuddle time. Muskoka was having too much fun and asked to tag along with me for the day.. our midday potty breaks took us to see Watson, Bailey, Duncan & Afrodyte. We then picked up the campers, Odin, Joey, Jake & Dixie... and welcomed friend, Sally to join us for a stroll alongside the Etobicoke Creek. We found a nook to romp around and splash our feet in the water. It was home time after that, Muskoka was pooped! Before heading back up the hill to the car, Muskoka laid down and wouldn't move until she rested and of course, rolled around in the grass. So.. Odin, Joey, Jake, Dixie and Cally joined her. Again, it was pup declared cuddle time and I didn't argue. Hunter, Casey, Dante & Gwen were happy for dinnertime when I arrived. All headed out for a potty break and Hunter & Dante leashed up for their walk. Cally just didn't have enough fun for the day.. so after dinner, she convinced me to take her and friends, Harley and Prada for an active jog around the neighbourhood. We stopped at the park on the way back home and the dogs patiently waited while I jumped on the swings for a cool down. What a happy day!

Holy Smokes Batman...it's hot out there!

Abby arrived ready to run.. Harley & Prada leashed up and led the race. Just beautiful out! Molly, Maddie, Muskoka and Abby took a lovely stroll through Bloor West before hitting the path at Tom Riley Park for a sniff around. The warm breeze kept us cool in the afternoon warmth :) along with the spits of rain just as we headed back to the car. Afrodyte got the full body scratch after her trek down the street. Cookie, Joey, Ben, Dutch and Abby scouted & discovered on the trails at High Park. Joey, Dutch and Ben found a very muddy puddle and splashed around like a pigs in mud! Cookie spotted just about every other critter on the trails, including every dog... Abby couldn't keep up! Harley & Prada got on their runners and went for a pre-dinner jog. The A Dog's Way pack is enjoying every minute of this great weather!  :D

An afternoon in High Park

Max, Harley and Prada headed to High Park for the afternoon. The sun was shining and there were many pups to keep us busy!

Spring is in the air!

Spring is in the air...the pups are frisky and full of spunk. All are very playful with a lil 'spring' in their walks.

another glove bites the dust!

Nikki arrived at Camp A Dog's Way and found a friend in Abby. All day long, both frolicked round & round.
We had the park again to ourselves.. Belle dug a hole that later Ben laid in to cool off. Roxy and Jasper chased each other around like brother and sister. Rocky made his way around the park, finding sticks to chew on. And, another glove bites the dust.. Belle stole another one of my gloves and got all the dogs involved in a game of chase, with breaks to tear pieces off as a tease.
The A Dog's Way afternoon was filled with lots o' labs.. and Muskoka! Odin, Joey, Nikki, Abby, Belle and Muskoka spent an afternoon full of fun and frolicks. Our walk turned many heads, one big happy pack! I was entertained beyond belief  :)

another glove bites the dust..

Harley, Abby and Rocky headed out early for an active walk. The three owned the sidewalks & streets. Roxy, Madison, Molly, Ben, Belle and Dutch went down by the lake where they tore it up. They were all involved in circles of chase and got other visiting pooches involved. Pepper & Watson met pup friends out on their potty break while Bailey had the paths to himself. Muskoka, Odin, Joey, Abby and Harley were social and playful one another. They romped around before going for a stroll through the hood. Pepper & Watson were excited for another outing and special treat.

Nothing like a run to start the day off on the right paw

Sammy, Abby and Harley headed out for an early morning run.. they kept up and loved the pace. The A Dog's Way pack headed from Garnetwoods to the Lake and then down & around the Etobicoke Creek. Our walks were filled with frolicks and fun!

The sounds of Spring...

Abby arrived this morning to Camp A Dog's Way, not just for the day but for the week! She greeted Sammy & Harley with wagging tails. Abby & Sammy romped around before heading out to pick up Roxy, Muskoka, Molly & Madison. We hiked the trails and raced through the empty fields. The pooches had the outdoors to themselves and each were very social with one another. Afrodyte, Watson, Pepper & Bailey enjoyed the midday sun peaking out from the remaining rain clouds. Otto, Joey, Cookie, Ben, Belle & Dutch took in the fresh breeze off of the lake during their outing. The pups had the park again to themselves and were very cohesive as a pack. Back at Camp A Dog's Way... Sammy, Abby & Harley were ecstatic to go for an early evening run to enjoy the rest of the day's warmer weather.

Spring had arrived folks! let's hope :)

Peaceful walk to start the day and head into the weekend. Otto, Maddie, Rocky, Dutch and Belle had the park to themselves. The birds chirped and the sun shined while each pup took it easy with breaks of play & exploration. We ended the walk off chasing Belle after she picked up my glove and started a game. 
Joey, Muskoka, Harley, Motown and Sammy took care of business at Camp A Dog's Way before heading out for a very leisurely stroll around the neighbourhood. Happy Spring this weekend!!

April Showers.. one day early

Hunter and Dante cleared the sidewalks by the school as we passed by...they strutted their stuff. Odin, Joey, Otto, Roxy and Muskoka headed to Garnetwoods for a morning romp. Odin and Joey were interested in all the new smells. When Roxy brought a game of chase closeby, Otto jumped in on the tail end. Muskoka stayed close to me, burying herself when I kneeled down with her. She was a great source of warmth! :)
Watson, Bailey and Afrodyte all took a new route on their potty breaks. They were curious to check out fresh spots.
Jasper, Ben, Belle and Rocky were full of energy at the park. Each were on an adventure of their own, sometimes inticing the others to join them.

bright bright sun

Molly, Maddie, Roxy, Ben, Belle and Dutch each took their time under the bright bright sun engaging in games of chase with one another, stick fetching and relaxing moments. Watson, Pepper and Dyte were delighted to take in the fresh air and sunshine on their midday break. Odin and Joey spent the afternoon at Camp A Dog's Way basking in the sun. Keisha, Harley, Odin and Joey headed out for a walk which offered many laughs to my amusement. Great day!

new scents around

Roxy, Jasper, Ben, Belle and Rocky headed to Lambton Woods and sniffed out the trails along the Humber River. Duncan and Bailey looked over the calm, blue lake on their outing. Watson waddled along lakeside while Afrodyte strutted her stuff down the street. Otto, Joey, Odin, Jake and Dixie headed to new grounds and were full of wagging tails exploring. The pups were all very playful and delighted when new pups arrived to play with. Hunter and Dante were excited to take some time out of their afternoon to stroll around their block.

Keisha and Harley took a tour around the neighbourhood enjoying the bright, morning sunshine.
Muskoka, Abby, Molly, Maddie, Cookie and Roxy headed to Garnetwoods for an active romp. Cookie, Abby and Roxy tore around with one another, initiating play with other dogs at the park. Molly and Maddie stayed relatively clean despite the muddy grounds they trekked through. Muskoka met a 4 month old Bernese pup that she was very happy to sniff out.
Afrodyte took care of business right away and wanted to head straight back home. After dropping Watson and Pepper back off at home from their potty break, I got in the elevator with a woman who asked me "does it smell like dog in here?" hmmm..!?!  :)
Dutch, Ben, Belle, Joey and Abby trudged through the muddy trails at High Park. The trio of labs kept close to one another with Ben keeping nearby. Dutch strayed from the group when he wanted to meet pups that passed by.

bright & early day!

Muskoka, Baxter, Maddie, Fergie, Keisha and Louie headed to Garnetwood bright & early to burn off their energy. They raced in circles and played well with one another. Otto, Daisy, Ben, Belle, Rocky and Dutch watched the trains passing by as we walked through the Lampton trails.

fresh fresh snow!!!

Otto, Muskoka, Joey and Odin made fresh tracks through the newly fallen piles of snow. They all bounced through it before heading on a sunny stroll. Belle, Jasper, Ben and Rocky checked out a new spot by the Humber River...the pups approved! Madison, Baxter, Fergie, Keisha and Harley are getting leashed up & heading to the lake to pick up Pepper for an early evening romp.

just kidding.. winter has arrived, again!

Odin, Joey and Molly picked up Muskoka and headed to her local fields. The pups were ecstatic to see fresh snow and they rolled around in it throughout their hike. The snow fueled each of them and all were full of energy. The snow blew around Dyte, Pepper and Bailey, making very white walks. Belle, Ben, Dutch and Louie went to High Park to frolick in the snow. It blew every which way around us, following as we trekked the trails.

spring is just around the corner..

Lily, Baxter, Madison, Fergie and Harley trekked along the walk taking in the fresh, morning air. Roxy, Jasper, Ben, Belle and Rocky headed to Humber Bay for an active frolick. There was other packs at the park and all the pups had fun chasing each other, picking up sticks along the way. Duncan, Watson and Afrodyte were all very curious with the scents around. They each took time to stop and stiff them out. Otto, Joey, Odin, Jake, Dixie and Muskoka walked the trails at West Deane park. When we got to an open field.. the pups raced around in huge circles. Muskoka stayed and rolled in the grass by side. Hunter and Dante greeted me excited to go for their walk.

Monday Crazies!!!

Abby arrived and headed out shortly after for a run with Sammy. Abby wanted to be by Sammy's side as we raced through the neighbourhood. Maddie, Lily, Baxter, Diesel, Fergie and Harley then took it to the streets where they each enjoyed exploring the neighbourhood. Muskoka, Molly, Cookie, Roxy, Sammy and Abby headed to West Deane park for a very leisurely stroll. The pups were all very excited to socialize with their friends after the weekend.. but got into the groove after their initial chaotic frolicks. Afrodyte and Pepper both enjoyed the fresh air during their potty breaks. Belle, Ben, Dutch, Joey, Abby and Sammy went lakeside for their afternoon hike. We took over the boardwalk, spanning out across it.
All of the A Dog's Way pups must've had a wee bit of crazy for breakfast this morning.. all were full of energy and spunk!

take our time

The A Dog's Way pack took their time on each outing and walk today. The weather was wonderful and we wanted to enjoy every moment. Purrrfect way to head into the weekend!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

The luck of the irish brought great weather for a day of walks! Hunter & Dante headed out first thing starting their day off on the right paw. Otto, Roxy, Diesel, Lily, Max & Harley were a cohesive pack as we walked in an orderly fashion through the streets. Muskoka took her time to sniff out her hood while Afrodyte made sure to take care of her businesses many times. Jasper, Ben, Belle, Rocky, Odin & Joey were so excited to arrive at High Park that they took me right off my feet. Once we hit Spring Road, the pups were off in all directions. When we got back to the car, they posed for a pic before their rides home where they looked forward to a snooze. Watson toured the block for his late afternoon stroll.

Harley says... "sweater weather is almost over!"

Joey, Odin and Roxy took a tour of the Humber Bay Shores Park East. The pups walked lakeside enjoying the fresh breeze off of the water. They tore up the open fields when we got to the peak.
Watson and Pepper stopped to meet passingbyer pooches while out & about. Afrodyte was less than impressed with the dreary weather but was happy when the sun peaked out.
Molly, Maddie, Ben, Belle and Dutch hit up Spring Road in hopes for a clean stretch. Molly stayed relatively clean despite her chases with the others. Maddie walked right through the muddy tracks as if she was trying to for dirty paws. Ben found another pup that he had a special liking for...the pack waited patiently while they frolicked before continuing on our travels. Belle took advantage of the milder weather and went for a dip followed by a roll in the snow. Dutch sauntered along watching the shananagans of his friends.

friendly faces

Watson was excited for an active romp.. we passed by many other pups out for walks in the neighbourhood too. Jasper, Ben, Rocky, Belle, Roxy and Otto headed to the lake for their walk time, seeing some friendly faces from the creek. Otto pranced & Rocky trudged while Roxy, Ben, Belle & Jasper tore through the muddy paths. After our walk.. with the exception of Otto, all pups went for a dip in the lake to wash off some of the stuck on mud that had accumulated during our time out at the park. Pepper excitedly greeted me for his walk and upon returning, sat at the concierge waiting for a treat...smart pup! Muskoka was joined by Odin for a romp in the field. Muskoka wanted to play, but Odin couldn't be bothered...he'd rather a roll in the grass. Odin, Prada, Lily, Diesel, Harley and Zok started their walk just as the sun came back out...it was perfect timing!

sunny skies again

Watson took some convincing to head out for our walk, but found the sunny skies overhead very welcoming. We stopped at each spot he wanted to scope out and he took care of business while on our travels. Madison, Molly, Roxy, Abby, Jake & Dixie had an enjoyable walk under the sunny skies. We took an active leashed walk and each pup were interested in their new surroundings.
Muskoka, Watson & Pepper and Afrodyte took their laps to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. The potty breaks were a perfect way to spend the midday stretch.
Cookie, Dutch, Ben, Belle & Abby stormed through High Park full of energy and spunk. My pups were recognized by all...their charismatic personalities shone even brighter than the sun  :)
This time around.. Watson was leading me out the door for his afternoon stroll.
Lily, Zok, Harley, Prada and Diesel set paw out for their walk to watch the sunset before heading back for dinner.

rainy again..

the rainy weather didn't seem to bother the pups at all but we are all looking forward to spring, hoping it arrives soon  :)

wipe out!!

Hunter & Dante didn't mind the rain one bit. We made our way through the streets, walking right through puddles. Jasper, Rocky. Ben, Belle & Roxy took a trek through Kings Mill Park. We got a wee bit lost walking along the trails but looped around and found our way back. Not before a big wipe out.. that the pups handled rather well, thank goodness! Odin, Joey, Brady, Otto, Jake & Dixie danced around in the rain and splashed around in puddles before heading back to Camp A Dog's Way for the 'royal treatment' including a towel off with a full paw to paw rub and delicious treat. Despite the dreary weather, I had much sunshine surrounding me all day long  :)

snow to rain, all in one day

Our walks went from skies filled with huge snowflakes falling as we walked through West Deane Park to rain and slush down by the lake. Through all weather conditions.. the pups loved it all!

tiptoeing through the sludge

Prada bounced in to Camp A Dog's Way very happy to see Harley. The adorable duo headed out with Zok for an active morning walk, pitter-pattering through the streets. The pack welcomed Jasper.. today, he was the center of attention. He got Rocky, Belle, Ben, Roxy and Muskoka running and playing through the park. Watson slowly sauntered around the block taking in the bright lunchtime sunshine! Jake, Dixie, Odin, Joey, Otto & Brady trekked through the patches of mud, snow and piles of sticks at the creek. Jake & Brady were occupied with a tennis ball that eventually found its way to Odin. Jake & Brady then turned to the many sticks that surrounded us. Dixie was friendly with all pups.. happy when each new pack arrived. Odin checked in with me regularily looking for a cuddle.. I loved it! Joey was stick obsessed, finding the largest ones to get the other pups interested in a game of tug over them. Otto tip-toed around the park keeping himself impeccably clean.. I tried to use him as an example for the other pups.

more time mondays

After a weekend away from their packs.. all the pups wanted 'more time' at the park. While at the creek.. Muskoka, Abby, Cookie, Molly, Roxy and Joey were ecsatic to race through the bare fields covered in snow. Abby grabbed sticks to initiate chase with the others while Roxy and Joey were social butterflies, making friends with all the dogs at the park. Cookie was mistaken for a coyote by another dog walker.. we were all surprised the bright teal bandana didn't give it away :D Muskoka was having way too much fun that she didn't want to leave the park...she kept convincing the other pups that it was still time to play! So, we did  :)
Pepper made many stops along our walk around the block, marking his territory around his hood. Duncan was a happy pup when I arrived.. excited to show me his new 'do.
Ben, Belle, Dutch, Abby and I enjoyed 'a walk in the park'. Another pack joined us for our romp and all the pups playfully dashed through the trails. We took our time taking in the sunshine & beautiful day!

Mill Rd was a hit!

Because of contruction at the Creek, we had to turn around and found the closest spot. The Mill Rd dog park was a hit! The pups were happy to discover new smells and I was happy the area was grassy with minimal mudpits  :)  the dogs raced around chasing sticks & others bandanas... and the rain held out!

when mud freezes over...

Hunter & Dante didn't take long to shake off their morning grogginess to go full force out on their walk. I was relieved that our trip to the Creek with Muskoka, Roxy, Odin, Joey and Otto was full of clean play. Muskoka kept busy chasing Roxy around in circles while Joey teased them with her great big stick. Odin explored the brush, taking in all the smells. Otto was recruited from another walker to make her first cut of the dog walkers rendition of 'The Ministry of Silly Walks'. Watson strolled along & Bailey sauntered by.. as they both walked lakeside on their potty breaks. Ben, Belle & Rocky headed along Bloor to Etienne Brule Park turning many heads along the way. Sinclair, Rex, Ferris, Zok & Harley were ecstatic to hit the streets for an afternoon outing.

Whoa! Windy walks.

Whoa, windy windy day! The creek was covered with ice & mud. Roxy, Tory, Joey, Odin & Muskoka were full of fun and raced up & down the trails. At the end of our walk.. they each had frozen, mud paws. Pepper & Watson almost blew away with the strong winds lakeside...brrr! To deter from more muddy paws.. Dutch, Belle & Ben picked up Molly & Starbucks and headed along Bloor for a stroll to the Tom Riley Park. All pups took care of business and met other dogs out for their afternoon walks. The A Dog's Way pack all managed to stay grounded through wind tunnels around us all day long.

day full o' walks

Watson was ready to walk! We travelled around his hood searching for the Lambton discovery trail. Finally, we found a forested area.. presumably part of the trails, which Watson took his time smelling every inch. Otto, Roxy, Belle, Rocky & Ben felt the very cold breeze off of the lake. The A Dog's Way pack had too good of a time that not one pup wanted to leave. Pepper was excited to meet Watson.. he went ahead while Watson sauntered behind. Jake, Dixie, Joey & Odin popped in for a romp with Harley before heading out for a sunny afternoon stroll.. they were interested in smells from all directions. Hunter alerted the neighbourhood before his walk while Dante was relieved that it wasn't too cold, so he didn't have to wear his jacket. I was excited to see Duncan after his vacation.. we took a new route for him to explore. Pepper headed out for another lap by the lake.. he was soo excited, he jumped back and forth down the hall while walking out. Ferris, Rex, Sinclair, Zok & Harley watched as the sunset on their pre-dinner stroll. All pups have called it a day and found their spots to curl up.

Ferris, Rex, Sinclair and Zok hit the streets, happily wagging their tails. Watson was relieved the rain stopped for our hike around the neighbourhood. The sun came out just in time for Abby, Muskoka, Joey and Roxy to chase the other pups out of the park, leaving it to themselves. They splashed through making fun all around. Abby & Joey found a stick that each attached to... neither wanted to let go. Roxy was the center of the chase. Muskoka followed closely behind trying to catch up. Pepper did a lap around lakeside, making sure to check out everything along the way. Cookie, Molly, Ben, Belle, Dutch and Abby were the final touch to a car full of wet dog. We spent an extra long time at the creek because the pups were having a blast! There were plenty of dogs to keep each of us all entertained. It was a great walk to end the day. The car smelled like one giant wet dog.. i loved it!

weekend getaway

Joey, Darby, Ferris, Rex, Sinclair and Zok were company for Harley and Lincoln for a weekend getaway at the cottage. The pups were ecstatic with the piles of untouched snow we arrived to. They all trekked through it, rolling around and chasing each other. After active days.. the pups curled up in front of the fireplace comfy and cozy! Perfect weekend away with the pooches  :D

Hunter & Dante started their days off on the right paw. They put a smile on my face, great walk to start my day too! The A Dog's Way packs stayed close to the lake whether at Humber Bay Shores or Colonel Samuel. The parks were rockin' after our crews arrived. Each pup had their favourite way to enjoy their time.. whether fetch, chase, drop & roll, etc.

'the squirrels are back in town...'

The pups were full of life and very active at the Etobicoke Creek. The A Dog's Way pack welcomed Tory with open paws. They showed her their hot spots and favourite trees. Chloe, Darby, Zok & Harley went to the Beach for a stroll where the squirels were in full bloom. The pups were interested and wanted to play!

sunny skies to cut the bitter

The sun was shining and it wasn't as bitter as we anticipated.. all were happy! At High Park.. Ben, Belle and Roxy went beyond the fences to chase Buju & Naboo (from another pack). The pups raced through the tree-filled forest. Rocky and Otto stayed with me, visiting pups that came close.
Watson sauntered around stopping to sniff out the most popular spots.
Joey, Odin, Jake & Dixie headed to Colonel Samuel Park for an active romp. Fetch was the name of the game, and all took part at one time or another. Odin held onto his pink ball, seldomly dropping it at my feet for a toss. He happily rolled around the snow with it in his mouth. Jake would only chase one ball that he had his eye on. When I tried another one we stumbled upon.. he wasn't interested. Joey took either so the others would chase her around. Dixie nosed the ball when it came close, but prefered to go from human to human for attention... it worked!
Hunter & Dante began our walk taking their time but after warming up, they were well on their way.

Furry Family Day!

Abby stormed in, bringing a great energy to Camp A Dog's Way. The pups had a playful romp in the freshly fallen snow before heading to High Park. Our walk was filled with adventure.. each one of the pups had something up their sleeve. Belle stole both mittens from my hand while I was trying to take a ball away that Dutch had stolen from another park pup. During the chase with Belle, she dropped one mitten for Ben to grab to continue the 'double trouble' chase. After I managed to get the first ball from Dutch's jaws of steel.. he was on his way to his next victim. In my attempts to persuade Dutch with treats, Abby was in my face ready to obey anything for one. Darby coralled the group while Chloe took this chance to play 'hard-to-get'. She dodged around each pup looking for a chase. To end the day.. Zok, Wedge, Lucky, Otto & Harley headed out for a brisk walk. We stayed close to parks and fields to keep our tiny paws away from salt. The Camp A Dog's Way crew are tuckered from an active day and have found cozy spots to curl up in.

sunny & mild.. great way to head into the long weekend! The snow is melting, making puddles and muddy spots for the pups to walk through. Muskoka charged through the messy field as happy as can be. Otto, Roxy, Belle & Rocky walked through the High Park neighbourhood, stopping to check out their fave spots. Ben & Dutch arrived at Camp A Dog's Way.. looking forward to a fun-filled pup weekend!

mild and muddy

Some pups tiptoed through the puddles, others went around while some just dashed right through them. After our walks, some were muddy, some were dry. Any way we walked, the mild temperatures were ok with everyone!

hmmm.. hail?

The pups headed out early for a peaceful romp at the creek. We trekked through to the rock beach and each pooch explored unfamiliar grounds. We worked on our 'touch' command, having great success.
Muskoka got distracted before taking care of business, having to say hi to another park in the field. Watson piddled as soon as he set foot outside. Lucy was brave and did fantastic during my visit. We found a fresh pile of snow, so Bapsi could enjoy a brush through before heading in.
Zok, Jake, Dixie & Harley were excited to head out for a warm, afternoon stroll. The sun joined us as the day came to a close.

icy treks

Scuttles was comfy on her chair when I arrived to freshen her eats. I strapped on my icers ready for a day of walks. Rocky, Jake, Dixie, Zok and Harley hit the streets early and were ready for a early day nap after that. Roxy, Ben, Belle, Odin, Joey and Otto scouted the scene at Colonel Samuel Park. We circled the grounds chasing a ball or two around before heading for a lap around the ice rink. Watson, a wee jack russell, was excited for his first walk with me. The warm sun kept us out for extra long. Dante sat his walk out but greeted Hunter when we arrived back. We'll be sure to wake him up on thursday, so he can join us.

Happy Valentine's Day!!

My day was filled with much, much pup unconditional love. I <3 my dogs!
Muskoka was ecstatic to see Abby arrive..she darted out into the yard to play. Ursus, Eiger, Gizmo, Harley and Abby took a tour around the hood after an active romp. Jake, Dixie, Odin, Joey and Roxy joined Muskoka and Abby for gallop through the creek. Bapsi was ready to take care of business..she took her time, finding the perfect spot. I had to grab her on the way in, making sure she didn't blow away. Belle, Cookie, Molly, Ben, Dutch and Abby leaped out of the car in all directions racing against the wind. We found sticks, balls and just about anything to play with. All the dogs were full of energy and enjoyed their walks.

bright and early!

We headed out bright and early to the creek. Ursus and Eiger stayed closeby, returning to my sides every so often. Sammy and Gizmo raced around the pack, while Muskoka looked for attetion from people who passed.. she was selective with the pups she played with. Jake & Dixie were both paws over paws for rolling around in the snow. Ursus & Eiger were a hit at today's pet FunFest.. they got attention from all directions. Harley was thrilled with the new frog toy we brought home.. he had saved up all his kibble to donate to the Tiny Paws rescue organization. Pooches are tired from an active day, curled up cozy by my feet.

last day of cold..?

Ursus, Eiger, Sammy & Gizmo headed out early for romp. After a morning full of play, the pups found their spot around me and walked in a orderly fashion. Dutch, Rocky, Cookie, Ben, Roxy and Otto had the lake park to themselves. We circled the grounds and dogs raced around after one another investigating scents along the way. Dutch grabbed one of mitts and held on with his jaws of steel. After quite the challenge, I won! My mitten, however, has seen better days. Rocky took full advantage and raced around at full speed. Cookie, Ben, Roxy and Otto went back and forth playing with one another. It was great to see Otto so playful with his pack pals. Muskoka arrived at Camp A Dog's Way and greeted the others with a playful romp...excited for a fun-filled weekend. Looking forward to warmer temps over the next couple of days!

brrr & burrrs

Hunter and Dante listened while I belted out tunes as we sauntered through the neighbourhood. The sun was shining, but brrr...it was cold! Roxy, Otto, Cookie, Ben and Rocky were full of spunk at High Park.. they got all the local dogs playing. Bapsi and Bailey kept warm moving with their heads up to the sunshine. Belle kept her nose to the ground as we walked around the block. Joey, Odin, Jake & Dixie were ready to run. They made their way through the trails at the creek, picking up burrs along the way. Ursus, Eiger and Sammy were covered in burrs after their romp, but enjoyed a brush out once we returned home.

Ursus, Eiger, Sammy, Nikki, Roxy and Muskoka hit the trails with bounds of energy. Ursus & Eiger tired quickly after their morning full of romps. Sammy kept the others running... Nikki and Roxy chased him around, off the trails. Muskoka looked for lots of love from all the other pup owners.

Bapsi had three pees, a poop and a good roll in the snow. Belle took a lap around, taking a break from play.
Odin, Joey, Cookie, Molly, Ben and Dutch headed to the lake for an active walk. We circled the grounds with Dutch as my shadow. Odin practiced the slide & roll technique through the snow, while Molly preferred the drop & roll way, even did a somersault in the process. Cookie ran from corner to corner, having Joey and Ben tag along for the fun.

Hunter and Dante were less than impressed with the salt on the sidewalks. We headed over the schoolyard field and met another pup out for his walk. Hunter and Sam raced around chasing each other through the snow. Dante and I circled the area to keep warm, watching the nearby frolicks.
Roxy, Otto, Muskoka, Ben, Belle and Rocky headed to the Humber Bay Shores Park. We had it all to ourselves until towards to end of our romp. Ben and Belle stayed closeby after taking care of business. Rocky raced along the rocky edge, returning to my side when called. Muskoka explored new grounds while Roxy went at full speed. Otto took part in play returning as my shadow on his breaks.
Bapsi felt out the path for the best spots to roll around in the snow.
Our walk at the creek was filled with fun and frolicks. Odin, Joey, Jake, Dixie, Sammy and Nikki were pefect pups as they made their way through the trails and amonst the other packs. Odin and Jake were thrilled to roll in the piles of snow off the trails...they were set on becoming covered in white by the end of our trek. Dixie was a social buteerfly...she visited the other packs, stopping for a sniff and chase with her fave pooches. Sammy was a hit at the park, every dog wanted to play with him. Nikki and Joey were full of energy, initiating play with the others. Harley and Zok sat this walk out!
Ursus and Eiger were wild with excitement when I arrived to pick them up for their week at Camp A Dog's Way. They tore around with Sammy and Nikki before calling it a day.

mild transition

Nikki was dropped off bright & early at Camp A Dog's Way and was thrilled when Abby arrived. The two raced around the yard in piles of snow until they headed out to the creek with Roxy, Joey, Muskoka and Harley. They all chased each other around, happy for new joiners as we crossed paths with other pups. The large snowflakes slowly fell around us at High Park...it was picturesque! Dutch, Belle, Ben, Molly, Cookie and Abby stayed closeby on the trails and ran at large along Sprin Road, enjoying a perfect afternoon walk. I had a very warm welcome back from all my pooches. Great way to start the week off!

Snow day!!

Thank goodness for snow tires! Odin, Roxy, Molly, Ben and Belle were as happy as can be running through the freshly fallen snow. Perfect walk to send me on my way :D

cold to the bone

The wind was strong off of the lake.. but the rocks and trees shadowed Roxy, Ben, Belle and Rocky as they frolicked around. Duncan was joined by Bapsi on his afternoon stroll. Muskoka, Otto, Joey, Odin, Jake & Dixie were full of adventure and fun as we did laps around the creek. Hunter and Dante were awoken from a deep slumber to head out for their romp around the neighbourhood.

Is it summer yet?

Abby arrived with a great, big smile ready for a day of action. She riled up Harley & Maeva before heading to the creek with Odin, Joey, Roxy and Muskoka. The pups were ready to run...they went in all directions racing through the snow. At High Park.. Cookie, Molly, Ben, Belle, Dutch and Abby were full of the monday energies. The pups didn't feel the trails had enough room for them to run, so they went through a break in the fence. Ben led Abby & Molly in a game of 'pick on Belle'. Belle rolled in the snow loving every minute of it. Cookie took the chance to run wild while the others did the same in circles. Dutch and I watched from the fence until they were ready to continue our walk. Hunter and Dante took their time through the neighbourhood. We sauntered along at a comfortably slow pace!  :)

Dutch, Rocky, Belle, Ben, Roxy and Otto had all eyes on them when we arrived at dog hill. After our grand entrance, the walk was peaceful and enjoyable for all.

Otto's 6th Birthday!

"Otto, it's your birthday.. Happy Birthday Otto!" we all sang during our creek walk. I brought a comfy dog bed so Otto had the best seat in the house for the ride. Muskoka, Jake, Dixie, Joey and Odin joined in the celebrations. The pups enjoyed a special treat with Otto and had a blast at the park.
The snowflakes danced around Bailey, also Bapsi and Duncan, during our lakeside saunters.
Rocky, Ben and Belle enjoyed a stroll along Bloor Street, making stops at every parkette along the way. The pooches turned lots of heads, taking a sniff as we passed.
Hunter and Dante were up for an extra long walk today. Both kept at a steady pace and were ready for a snooze before dinner.

happy tails, happy trails

Couldn't have asked for a better afternoon walk.. full of happy tails and happy trails! Odin, Joey, Belle, Dutch, Ben, Molly and Muskoka were ready for adventure. Odin and Molly were set on making themselves into snowdogs by rolling around, nose diving right in. Joey, Belle and Muskoka took turns finding their fave sticks and having the others chase them around for it. At one point, Belle grabbed on to a full branch with many many sticks attached that had all the pups running, also easy for Joey and Muskoka to grab onto a piece. Ben's barks echoed across the park as he chased the others while they played. Dutch took a special liking to one of Joey's pick of sticks and grabbed on. Both walked attached down the trails for quite awhile.. neither wanted to give up!
Hunter & Dante are patiently waiting, excited for their early evening walk. On the way, heading out for my neighbourhood romp with the boys.

lots of playmates.. Welcome Odin!

Roxy, Ben, Belle and Rocky hit up the Humber Bay Shores West Park and were delighted to see many many happy pup faces belonging to other packs. The park was filled with walkers and chuck its. All the pups joined in on a romp and chase.
Duncan met up with Bapsi outside as he slowly made his way through the path, making sure not to miss sniffing out a spot.
Otto, Jake, Dixie, Muskoka and his galpal, Joey gave black lab, Odin, a warm and cold nose welcome to the A Dog's Way pack. All of the pups were full of energy and found many fun activities to engage in at the Creek. Perfect walk to put a great big smile on my face!

I love mondays!

Roxy, Joey, Muskoka and Abby were all full of energy and perfect playmates for one another. They chased each other around, grabbing sticks and toys to keep entertained. Cookie, Molly, Ben, Belle, Dutch and Abby raced through High Park. Despite the cold, we all kept warm by continuing to move all day long.

weekend walks

Jake & Dixie were ecstatic to join Gus, Lucky, Wedge and Harley for a romp. Jake had a special liking for Lucky and stayed nearby him. Dixie desperately wanted both Gus and Harley as playmates. She barked trying to get both their attentions.

Windy walk

Today, the wind was in full force.. Blowing the snow around us. The sun kept trying to peak from behind the clouds at High Park. Otto, Roxy, Belle, Dutch and Rocky happily pounced along the trails. All the pups are looking forward to their weekends with their families.
Gus, Bear and Harley romped around with each other at Camp A Dog's Way, making sure to bundle up before their walks.

peaceful & quiet

Rocky departed from Camp A Dog's Way after his overnight and picked up Roxy, Ben & Belle before heading to High Park for a peaceful walk. The park was quiet but the pups had lots of others to play with on their romp. We joined a familiar pack on the trails made up of friends of Belle & Ben's. Roxy was stimulated by her new environment.. she loved it!
Duncan & Bapsi headed in opposite directions to take care of business. Afterwards, they both rolled in the untouched snow along the path.
Joey & Muskoka tore around the Creek looking for pooches to play with. They both dashed through the fields making new friends. Buddy, Otto, Gus & Bear were happy to romp along with each other. They engaged in play at each of their leisure. Buddy & Bear joined a game of fetch while Otto investigate groups of pups as they passed.
Hunter & Dante took in the fresh afternoon air, stopping for pats from people along their way.

icy hills

The dogs sharpened their nails while I put on my icers.. we prepared for the icy slope down to the Creek. Our walk started with a chase.. trying to lasso another walkers pup that was playing 'hard to get'. The A Dog's Way pack did a great job of keeping him in the area and entertained. The pups were happy to continue on their travels once Gus, the lab, was caught and returned to his owner. We trekked through the snowy trails, stopping to investigate smells and engage in play along our way.

mild for me!!!

Mild Day! Nice relief from the bitterness. Roxy, Ben, Belle and Rocky were lake-bound. The sky was pink over the lake and made the perfect scenery for our morning stroll. We trudged through the snow on the Martin Goodman Trail. Jake & Joey chased each other, rolling around in the snow. The wee ones.. Dixie, Gus, Bear and Otto were playful and ran within the pack, friendly with one another. Muskoka went from playing with the others to romping around in nature. Hunter & Dante headed out just as the rain started. It didn't stop either, so we all danced in the puddles!

ahhh... fresh snow!!!

Abby made her trail to Camp A Dog's Way.. she joined Bear, Gus and Harley for a romp around the neightbourhood. Abby & Bear trekked through the snow while Gus & Harley were less than impressed.
Abby, Roxy, Joey and Muskoka stormed into the creek, making new trails through the freshly fallen snow. All the pups burrowed and tore through it chasing each other about, rolling around and covering themselves in it. The pooches were happy and put a smile on my face.
At High Park.. Cookie, Molly, Ben, Belle, Dutch and Abby found an escape from the packed down snowy trails and plowed through beyond the fences. Dutch picked up a ball left behind and squeaked his way along the trails. Belle and Abby tugged over sticks they found, while Ben followed the two closely taking every chance he could to grab on. Molly rolled around in the snow.. so much her jacket kept falling off. Cookie covered tons of ground on her wild chase for squirrels. The pups were as happy as can be with all the new snow.. having the time of their lives!!

new visitors to Camp A Dog's Way

Bear and Gus joined Harley for a week-o-fun. The small pups are playing well with each other and enjoying tossing around the toys with one another. Both pooches are looking forward to meeting more of the A Dog's Way pack.

fur-day

All were ready to play. It was a sunny but cool romp.. the dogs kept moving and were content and enjoyed their midday outing.

I said "brrr... it's cold out here"

Muskoka, Roxy, Buddy, Brady, Otto and Joey took over the creek. Their energy made all the pups in the park want to visit with our pack. Muskoka was in her own world.. exploring and playing with the others in the pack at her leisure. Roxy was free today.. she raced back and forth through the trails and played well with Joey and Brady. Joey showed her the ropes, guiding Roxy in the right direction. Brady went between chasing around the other pups and playing fetch. Buddy & Otto stayed near each other.. they preferred to sniff out the grounds.
Bapsi and Duncan rolled in the snow during their outing.. they seeked out the spots with light, fluffy snow leftover from yesterdays snowfall. Bailey moved quick during his walk, keeping warm as we walked by the lake.
Ben, Belle and Rocky walked a scenic route to High Park. All went full speed when we hit Spring Road, excited to meet pups that passed by.
Hunter & Dante bundled up and went out for an after dinner stroll. Both were ready to head in after checking out the scene.

snow day!!!

I bundled up well before heading out with the pack.. the pups couldn't be more excited for the freshly fallen snow. Each pooch made their own trails through the snow by chasing, fetching and taking care of business. Duncan and Bailey were both bellies deep at points during our walks.

the symphony of dog

The crisp air surrounded Roxy, Ben, Belle and Rocky during our hike through High Park. Roxy & Rocky stayed close while Ben & Belle chased each other through the forest... Ben was lightning compared to Belle. We ran into many, many other packs out and about. It was a great social time for the pups.
Duncan got straight to business when we headed out. He spent the rest of his time sniffing out his favourite spots for the rest of his walk.
Jake & Joey provided the music for the car ride to the park with a piece they called 'symphony of dog'. Joey, Otto, Jake, Dixie, Muskoka and Harley were creek-bound this afternoon. When we arrived, Joey & Jake were chasing each other in circles. I didn't question not bringing the chuck it. Muskoka was after Dixie, all she wanted to do was play.. Dixie ran from her clumsy paws. The two pups learned to play well with each other by the end of the walk. Joey was very social and entertained 2 different pooches, she burned a ton of energy through play and chase. Jake was disappointed I didn't bring my chuck it, so he engaged in play with Tia's. He was happy to chase the tennis ball, then turned to sticks once Tia had left. Joey was down for this game.. the two had a competition for better sticks. Otto was entertained by the other pups, that he couldn't hold himself back from the tail end of a chase. It kept him warm! Harley was less than impressed.. he wished he seemed disinterested when I said "walk" earlier. He continued to let us all know  :|
Hunter and Dante took a short cut home.. Hunter stuck to the grass making sure to stop for extra long pees. Dante was falling out of his jacket, he kept busting the chest open.. must be his new walk regime!

when it rains, it pours..

Bear came to Camp A Dog's Way for a day o' fun.. re-checking the digs out before his visit later this week. He was in an all-lady company at the creek. We all welcomed Roxy to the A Dog's Way pack. Abby, Muskoka, Cookie, Molly, Bear & Roxy were all very playful and energetic at the park.
Abby, Cookie & Molly were up for another romp, so they headed to High Park with Ben, Belle and Dutch. There must've been something in the snow.. because all the pups had their moment of craziness. Oh, what a fun bunch!!

Dog Walker Express

Prada & Harley set foot out on the snowy sidewalks for a neighbourhood stroll. The two picked up Ursus & Eiger along their travels to spend the day at Camp A Dog's Way. The foursome turned lots of heads while out. The pups were on their best behaviour at our bank stop. On the way home, Harley was cold and took the dog walker express the rest of the way. Prada, Ursus & Eiger remained unphased.

snow fun

Otto, Ben, Belle, Rocky and Dutch enjoyed a peaceful stroll through the quiet trails in High Park. Ben and Belle stuck close to one another, chasing each other about the snowy paths. Dutch managed to remove all his booties by the end of his walk. Otto stayed so close behind, I had to do 360's to make sure he was still with the pack. Rocky was interested in meeting the pups that came across our way. Bapsi rolled around in the fresh snow as soon as she stepped foot on the dog trail. She was very happy!

'stuck in the middle with you'

Muskoka & Joey were very playful during our creek romp today. Each picked their favourite pup from another pack to play with and chased each other around through the brush. Prada, Otto & Buddy sniffed around the park, letting the others know when their play got too close. When Harley had enough, he put the brakes on and let himself be heard.
Bailey & I watched the ducks swim around and dive into the lake. It was a nice break while we were out. 
Trouble.. errr, I mean Belle led the pack for a lakeside romp. She mushed Ben, Argus and Rocky making her own trail. All were very interested in their surroundings and took it all in.
Hunter and Dante used their typical 'selective hearing' when I belted out some of my fave songs during our walk. At one point.. there was a 'clown to the left of me (Hunter) and a joker to the right' (Dante)... at least, I was entertained  :) The snow was falling heavy on us and it was a perfect walk to end the day!
