perfect weather for walking!

The weather was perfect for a dog day of walking   :)

blue crew

Abby was dropped off for an early morning splash and chase with Cookie and Prada. Harley watched as the others tore around.
Abby, Molly, Ben, Belle and Dutch stormed into High Park with bounds of energy. Everyone saw their blue bandanas from afar.
At the creek...Cookie, Prada and Harley were happy to be reunited with Abby. The current was high, so the pups made sure to stay close to shore. Within 3 throws of the tennis ball, Brady had lost contact with it in the bushes. From there, we found a small apple and threw that in replace of the ball...Brady fetched it anyways. Baxter joined Abby for a swim, the current made for an extra workout.
Casey and Charlie went for an evening stroll. At one point, the rain poured down on us...the pups and I danced in the rain.

fun-day!

Rocky, Cookie, Harley and Prada headed out this morning for a neighbourhood stroll. Their tongues were hanging out the sides of their mouths when we returned.
The gang then headed to High Park to meet Dutch, Belle and Baxter. All the pups played at dog hill and along the trails through Spring Road.
In lieu of the gorgeous day, Angel and Molly went out for an extra long walk.
Hunter took it easy today while Casey and Charlie made their way through their 'hood.

thirsty thursday

Today was a hot one!! Harry, Baxter, Belle, Milo, Rocky and Cookie headed to the lake for their walk. They had no problem taking up the whole boardwalk and enjoyed the cool off in the lake. It took all my strength to keep myself from a swim despite the pups efforts to get me in. They were thirsty dogs, making stops for water breaks along the way.
Buddy and Sammy joined the crew for a relaxing afternoon saunter. They took it easy in the sun and shade enjoying the fresh air.
Angel and Molly strutted their stuff on their neighbourhood stroll, visiting their favourite spots.

wacky wednesday

Baxter, Molly, Ben, Belle and Dutch headed to High Park for an afternoon stroll. It was a hot one and each dog took their turn splashing around in the water.
Hunter, Casey and Charlie joined the pack at the Creek for a couple of laps. Hunter was happy to play with other pups, not knowing his limit. Casey and Charlie stayed close stopping to sniff their selected spots. Prada and Harley raced around after one another at the park while Buddy and Sammy followed behind staying away from their track.
Angel and Molly were happy it was just spitting today for their potty break. It was a great way to keep cool.

wet dogs

Bapsi, Watson and Bailey were lucky to miss the rain on their walks today. Harry, Ben, Belle and Jake weren't so lucky! The rain came down hard when we arrived at the Creek. Harry, Belle and Jake couldn't care-a-less....Ben on the other hand, would have rather stayed comfy at home. Merlin and Mister...friends from the park, joined the pack for a rain romp. The pups got going and enjoyed a chased around the park.
Despite the rain, Dixie headed out to take care of business. Angel and Molly got downpoured on during their potty break this afternoon.

crazy at the creek

Within 1 minute of arriving at the Creek, Abby, Belle and Baxter had hit the first spot to jump in the water. They came racing out shaking off around Molly, Ben and Dutch. We headed along to the first beach and then rock beach for a romp in the water or trek in the woods. The pups were full of energy and had a blast playing as a pack.
There was lots of my love to go around for the pug\beagle gang. We hung out in the yard where I took turns petting Hunter, Casey, Charlie, Dante and Gwen. They were all loving it!

perfect weeks end

Betty and Harley were ecstatic when Prada arrived for her day visit, they headed straight to the yard for a romp. Rocky, Belle and Zok joined the trio for a long neighbourhood stroll. On the way home, Betty was so exhausted she laid spread eagle in the grass any chance she could, Prada and Harley could have gone another few laps. Rocky and Belle were happy as can be!
At High Park...Otto, Sammy, Buddy, Dutch and Baxter had huge grins on their faces, all seemed very happy. Otto rolled in sand, while Sammy found the perfect spot in the grass. Buddy tried to pretend he wasn't interested in the other pups as he sniffed from a distance. Dutch trailed behind receiving many comments on how adorable he was. Baxter stayed close to the pack, stopping to sniff tails with other pooches as they passed.
Hunter, Casey and Charlie went for the short route today, the heat was a wee bit too much for them.

lots o' pups

Betty started her morning off chasing Belle in circles around the yard. Zok and Harley chilled out on the deck watching the other two.
Baxter, Ben, Harry and Milo took a stroll down Spring Road through High Park. Baxter was on a mission of his own...he got a head start meeting all the pups along our way. Ben happily galloped along the waters edge. Harry had lots of other danes to meet today. He met three ladies...lucky him! Milo stayed close and listened very well off leash.
Otto, Buddy and Sammy came out to play with the others. They each did their own thing while enjoying the fresh air and sunshine.
Jake joined Rocky, Belle, Zok, Betty and Harley at the Etobicoke Creek for a dip to cool off. A perfect way to spend a summer afternoon.
Hunter, Casey and Charlie took it easy today making sure to take care of business while on their travels.

june showers..?

We just missed the rain for each walk. Bapsi was happy about that.
The sun came out for Milo, Belle, Harry, Molly, Ben and Dutch. We went for a walk along the boardwalk putting smiles on others faces as we passed. Milo and Dutch stopped and marked every tree or trash can they could. Belle kept trying to walk herself along the way. Harry was very interested in the geese and ducks, he wanted at them. Ben and Molly walked side by side taking in all the sights.
Zok, Harley and Belle enjoyed the rest of the afternoon and fresh air, once the final rain had fallen.

Hunter, Casey and Charlie were all waiting for me when I arrived. They went for a neighbourhood stroll, checking out the smells they missed since last time.
Bapsi took it easy while Bailey strutted his stuff during his lakeside stroll.
Jake, Harry, Otto, Belle, Ben and Rocky went for a romp in High Park. The pups had a great time. We were all matching in teal  :)
Also met Dixie, Jakes new sister. She is adorable and is excited to get out with the pack once she is big enough.

best job ever!

Kris came to join the pack on our adventures through the Etobicoke Creek...he agreed that I have the best job ever. Belle, Abby and Baxter wasted no time getting into the water. They bounced right in and shooted out shaking off the excess. Molly, Ben and Harry flew around the park from one tree to the next....very playful with the other pooches. Dutch, Zok and Harley took it easy and followed the pack as we went along.

Happy Birthday Molly!!

Molly had a great day!! She was joined by Belle, Rocky, Dutch and Hero at High Park. She jumped into the water where she was knee deep in mud. Molly then took Hero and Harley with her to the Etobicoke Creek where she cleaned up real nice. Baxter, Brady and Otto took part in Mollys birthday celebration as well. Molly and Baxter took off into the bushes together a few times...every time I called, they both came out looking suspicious  :)  Hero, Brady and Otto were fetched obsessed. One of them was sure to catch the ball when thrown onto land or in water. Molly and her friends enjoyed special treats and lots of fun to end the week.

Hunter, Casey and Charlie were ready to go this morning. All stopped at their favourite spot along the way.
Bapsi let her hair down today, no bows. Bailey watched as the swans followed our walk alongside the lake.
Milo, Rocky, Belle, Ben and Baxter headed for a stroll to the lake and back through high park. The swans and geese steered away from the pack.
Otto, Brady, Buddy, Sammy and Harley got all the toys out today. Between the balls, ropes and stuffed ones...the pups could hardly decide which to play with.

wednesday water fun

The rain was calm for Bapsi, Bailey and Watson's outings. Each enjoyed watching the big waves in the lake while they took care of business.
At the Etobicoke Creek, the pups were already wet so they had some water fun. They all headed straight into the creek for a dip and run. Brady was so funny, he looked like a frog jumping through the water. Belle and Jake jumped right in for a swim. Molly ran into the water trying to initiate play with the pack. Ben stayed close to shore where he vocally expressed his excitement. Dutch laid down at the edge of the creek, getting his feet and belly wet.

High Park fun

Otto beat Belle to the punch, and was the first to roll in the sand at dog hill...he was loving it! Belle didn't wait too long after that to follow suit. Belle, Ben and Brady repeatedly chased Jake around a big tree at the park. The four of them had a riot playing throughout the park. They were happy to find a ball which they all took turns with. Rocky was interested in meeting other pups at the water on Spring Road.
Belle and Harley went for a jog along the lake for an evening stretch. The pups kept the pace and appeared very happy!
Hunter and Casey introduced me to their new pal, Charlie. What an adorable pup! He joined the gang for a breath of fresh air and lap around the block.

monday madness

The pups were vocal and full of energy today. People at the creek saw the pack coming from afar. We lost 2 tennis balls within 10 minutes of being at the park. Belle and Brady were very focused on the balls even after they went missing. Even Ben grabbed a ball at one point and took off with it trying to get the others to chase him. Ben and Dutch were vocal trying to initiate play, woofing at the other pooches as they passed by. The creek was moving and Abby was waterbound. Molly chased the pack along the shore while Baxter hid in the bushes investigating all the smells.

Tip #18 - Do not drink from puddles.

Baxter, Sammy, Wedge, Lucky and Harley spent the morning taking in the fresh air before heading out on their neighbourhood adventure. The smells were new for some of the pups...they followed their noses. Belle loves to pee in puddles...just a warning to her fellow pups. She was happy to run into her old pack mate, Rusty for a romp. Otto was the first one into the park...he stood his ground with the bigger dogs. Rocky splashed into the water and chomped on the plants around him. Dutch loves little dogs. He is always very forward when meeting them.
Back at the house, Buddy and Sammy joined the others in an afternoon of play and naps. Wedge scouted the yard for extra ¨nutrition¨. Lucky rolled around in the grass. Baxter chewed on any stick he could find. Sammy cut the grass for me. Buddy and Sammy found their favourite nap spot - the backside of the couch in the gazebo. They looked quite comfy!

dogs brought sunshine on a cloudy day

Hunter and Casey were ready to go for their walk this morning. Both were very lively and happy to be out. Belle, Ben, Rocky and Milo got lots of attention on their walk to the beach. The pups put a smile on others faces as they passed....and mine!
We just missed the rain for our afternoon play. Buddy and Sammy showed off their hair cuts as well today. They are ready for their summer filled with walks and especially for their visit to Camp A Dogs Way this weekend. Otto was interested in the other pups...very social today.
Baxter, Wedge, Lucky and Sammy are enjoying each others company. They take their turns playing with one another. Harley and Maeva are beggin for my attention   :)

new summer hair dos

Molly showed off her new do to the other pups. She was so proud, she even stayed out of the dirt. Belle got dirty enough for the both of them. Ben was full of energy, he raced along the water through High Park. Baxter and Dutch stayed close to the pack, stopping to sniff the smells along the way.
Bailey was decked out with his summer do too....all ready for the warm weather. He pranced out on his walk, getting lots of attention from other pups.
Jake, Sammy and Harley ended the day with a rainy walk along the creek at Marie Curtis Park. We got caught in the rain but enjoyed it as best we can...I was content with a coffee in hand   :)  The pups happily splashed around.

good day, sunshine!

Otto stayed close today at High Park, taking it easy from his recent rest. Rocky got his feet wet enjoying his cool off in the water. Belle stayed out of the dirt today! Ben got behind the group but raced towards once he spotted us. Baxter lagged behind but happily raced back with the pack once called.
Belle joined Hunter and Casey for their afternoon outing. The sun was hot, but we found the shady spots out on our walk. Belle then came for a visit with Harley, Motown and Sammy. She was thrilled! While the kiddy pool was being filled, Sammy caught the hose water with his mouth while Belle splashed around him. Motown was nearby playing ball with himself, while Harley tried to demand his attention.
Sammy and Harley went for an evening run....it was a perfect pace for the pups.
