Baxter, Sammy, Molly, Ben, Belle and Dutch headed to High Park to scope out the scene. Each sniffed out the new smells that arose since their last visit. There were lots of other pooches at the park and the A Dog's Way pack were social with all.
Jake and Brady went all out with a double game of fetch at the Creek, even splashed into it after their own balls....both were tuckered on our way out. Scamper was covered in grass after a roll around in the field. Prada and Harley stuck close to each other and scouted the perimeters of the park.

mid-day stretch

Ben, Belle, Baxter, Sammy, Otto and Harry headed to the creek for a mid-day stretch. Ben, Belle and Sammy followed each other as they ran taking turns for the lead. Ben barked up a storm talking to the other pups while Sammy involved every dog in passing. Belle and Baxter swam into the creek after sticks....Baxter kept loosing them down stream, but had a blast searching to find one. Harry clumsily bounced back and forth on the beach and along as we walked, he stopped to lean on every person passing by. Otto was most interested in fetching after a tennis ball, but took breaks to sniff out the new pups on the scene.

what a riot!

The pups went wild today at the Creek. All the dogs went full force as soon as they hit the dirt past the gate. They did laps on shore and splashed around in the water. Our walk was full of energy!!   :)

great weeks end

Ben, Georgia, Otto, Sammy, Belle and Baxter headed to the creek for a sunny walk. We trekked through the fields making stops for water fun. Ben, Georgia, Sammy and Belle dip laps on shore...Belle taking breaks to swim laps while the others including Baxter splashed around. Otto and Baxter were happy to sniff around the area...Otto was playful and enjoyed tossing the ball around.

rockin' robins

Hunter and Casey led the packs, making a stop to sniff at every chance.
Harry was happy as a horse...very playful! Buddy was examining the tall plants while Sammy was in her glory rolling around in the dry grass. Dutch was very interested in Sammy, he kept trying to get her to play. Ben was happy to see Coco when she arrived at the park, they chased each other in circles. Rocky enjoyed dipping his paws into the edge of the creek.
Sammy, Belle and Milo took the lakeside route where they were ecstatic to see the ducks, geese and swans...each would have loved to join them for a swim.

fun in the sun

The A Dog's Way pack greeted Baxter with open paws, a great addition to our pack. At the creek, all the pups took a dip. Belle, Sammy and Jake ran through the water and after each other. Molly got her feet wet and then jumped into the chase. Baxter was happy to explore new grounds and enjoyed swimming into the creek after a stick. Scamper stayed beach based, but cooled off her paws at the edge of the creek.
Ben, Rocky, Dutch and Harley loved their hot and sunny afternoon, adventure walk. There was lots to discover and explore. wonderful walk....the tongues hanging out the sides of their mouths said it all   :)

rainy days

Hunter and Casey got caught in the morning rain, both pups didn't seem to mind. At the park, Sammy, Belle and Ben chased each back and forth along the creek. Harry jumped in at points but would rather not try to keep up. Otto stayed away from the racing but joined the other pups once they were localized at the rock beach. Dutch, Rocky and Harley just got in from an neighbourhood romp...the rain seemed to start as we got back, just in time   :)

just missed the rain

Abby, Sammy, Molly, Ben and Belle headed to High Park for their first walk of the week. All were bouncing around with energy. Abby and Belle made sure to take a dip in the water, and of course a roll in dirt for Belle. Sammy joined in the lab craziness and the three tore around inseparable. Molly and Ben took part on their time..chasing and 'woofing' behind, keeping the others in order.
Georgia was quite the lady on our walk, being very polite with other pups out for a stroll in the neighbourhood.

Jack Darling

Sammy, Fergie, Tavira, Dutch, Sasha and Max headed to Jack Darling for an afternoon romp. All the pups loved exploring the new grounds. Each met new friends and frolicked around.

sunny week's end

The gang headed to High Park for an active walk. Georgia and Belle chased each other around until their tongues were hanging out the sides of their mouths. Rocky, Otto, Buddy and Sammy stayed closeby stopping to take a sniff at their fave spots.
Hero, Sammy, Tavira, Fergie, Max and Dutch enjoyed their afternoon full of sunshine and play. The pups headed out for a stretch, fresh air and lots of company. They ended their week off on a great paw and are now tuckered.

warm walks

Brady, Belle, Ben, Rocky and Milo took a sunny stroll through High Park. They explored new trails and turned heads while in passing.
Buddy, Sammy, Harry, Hunter and Casey headed to the creek to enjoy the warm afternoon sun. Sammy was very independent today and loved rolling around in the grass. Buddy enjoyed making his rounds sidekick-free. Harry trotted along visiting every person at the park. Hunter bounded across the fields full of energy, while Casey stuck to the perimeter following her beagle nose.

my job rocks!

At High Park, the pups got lots of attention from the march break goers. Brady, Belle and Otto took the fast road to fetch. Brady gave it his all, racing for each throw. Ben excitedly followed Brady, hoping for some of his focused attention. Each time Belle got the ball, she took off running...happy as can be! Otto went along for the chase, excited to fetch the rebounds. Harry galloped about the park bouncing around demanding attention. Rocky trotted along getting attention from afar.

Jake, Hero and Tavira chased around fetching sticks and balls keeping them quite busy. Sammy and Fergie frolicked about in a loving pup manner. Scamps took in the fresh air and sunshine on her outing.

mild monday

the pooches stayed relatively clean today despite the rainy, weekend weather. Jake, Scamper, Molly, Ben, Belle and Dutch headed to High Park full of energy. They were all very enthusiastic and excited to walk the trails.
Hero, Sammy, Fergie, Tavira and Harley wrapped up the day with a stroll at the Creek. The pups were happy to head to the water for an afternoon swim....they loved it!!! Hero was chasing after a stick, not missing a beat. Sammy, Fergie and Lincoln raced around after one another. Tavira took time playing each of the pup games, while Harley surfed the crowd for attention. 

rain day.

The trek through High Park was a muddy one. Belle raced around bathing in the dirt, while Sammy and Georgia got the run off. The ladies, Belle and Georgia ran along Spring Road keeping Sammy in his place. Otto and Dutch chased after a tennis ball...Otto usually made contact first, if not Dutch kept the ball for himself. Rocky was interested in meeting the other pups in the park.

Hunter and Casey were eager to lead the way during this morning's walk. Sammy, Belle, Ben, Rocky and Milo headed out for a sunny romp....we all strutted along very happy! Harry was a big softy at the park, demanding everyones attention. Sammy and Buddy enjoyed the warm trek through the creek. Cape was in a very playful mood meeting new friends. Harley and Prada stayed close to one another in their efforts to peruse the fields.

march 10th 2010

Sammy and Belle let loose in the dirt and rinsed their paws off with a dip in the water. Molly and Ben were very happy pups...they stayed close to me. Dutch hung back keeping an eye on things from behind, making sure to sniff every pup that passed by.
We had the creek all to ourselves today! Harry decided he was up for this afternoon's walk, and went wild at the park. He bounced from side to side hoping for a game of tug....with my arm  :)  Jake and Cape had some friendly competition at fetch. They tore back and forth chasing a favourite orange ball. Scamper, Prada and Harley explored the area picking up every scent....all very content!

Cape, Zok and Harley took in the morning rays on their neighbourhood lap. Hunter and Casey made collective stops to sniff out their favourite trees and posts. Bapsi and Watson did their lake lap taking care of business before heading inside. Harry decided he wanted to sit out today's walk and go to the vet instead....silly boy! Sammy, Belle, Ben, Rocky and Otto headed to the park without him. Sammy and Belle raced their rounds, adding followers along the way. Ben took it easy today but was vocal, making sure the others didn't forget about him. Rocky was in a bit of a mood, so he stayed close and outta trouble. Otto steered away from the muddy mess the best he could. great walks!

swim day.

What a gorgeous day!
Cape, Abby, Harley and Zok started their day off with a rompful playdate. the pups headed to the creek for a midday run, swim, and play. Sammy, Molly, Ben, Belle, Dutch and Abby were all in their glory. Belle was happy to be offleash...she ran free! Sammy and Abby were connected in play just about the whole time, while Molly and Ben joined in on the chase at their leisure.  Dutch rinsed off his muddy paws with a dip in the creek.

friday...full of fun

all the pups are eagerly awaiting the warm, sunny weekend to hang outside with some of their favourite humans. great walks today!

good times.

sunny days, keeping those clouds away...
the morning sun was bright for Harley, Gator, Keisha and Boucle to enjoy on their active romp around the block. All were ready for a morning pup nap when they returned. Hunter and Casey kept at a fast pace and were relaxed and calm on their way home. 
Sammy, Ben, Belle and Rocky went for a perfect lakeside walk! the sun was beaming off the water and the dogs sauntered along as a cohesive pack. Pups were pooped on the ride home. Buddy, Sammy, Harry, Jake and Scamper were entertained in their afternoon playdate. Little Sammy followed her big bro, Buddy around and kept him close company alongside Harry who hung around the little pups for a k9 boost. Jake played a busy game of fetch with two balls...he was delighted! Scamps watched from the sidelines basking in the warm afternoon sun.
Cape, Harry, Gator, Keisha and Harley are leashing up to head out now for a neighbourhood stroll. What a way to end a great day!    :)

lovin' the sun

Sammy, Molly, Ben, Dutch and Belle took the not-so-muddy Spring Road through High Park. Belle was excited to see her pals after a short walk hiatus. Sammy and her walked side by side staying close to one another. Molly was vocal and playful encouraging the other pups to play. Ben and Dutch wandered behind the pack at their own pace.

Jake & Scamper joined Gator, Keisha, Boucle and Harley on a sunny afternoon hike. All the pups stopped to smell their fav spots as they took in the spring-like air.

glorious day..

Harley, Keisha and Navigator started the day with an active walk under the warm sun. Bapsi & Watson were both excited for todays spring-like weather...Bapsi was ready to go in her colourful spring sweater. The creek was a site for muddy dogs. Otto did his best to tippytoe around the park, trying to avoid puddles and mud at all costs. Sammy, Harry, Ben and Rocky tornadoed right through, barely even noticing. It was a muddy and smelly ride home....for all of us! Angel and Molly took me for a walk to Centennial Park, taking me to their favourite spots. Hunter and Casey were joined by Harley for their late afternoon stroll. Both beagles had their noses to the ground picking up all the scents.

mucky monday...

The warmer weather after the snow fall had the pups splashing around in wet snow and mud   :)  they loved every minute of it! Abby and Sammy tore it up with Molly close behind on their tails. Ben took his time, walking at his own pace. Dutch picked up discarded sticks from Abby and was happy for his find. Angel & Molly enjoyed their brisk afternoon walk. I was excited to see the pups, they felt the same!
