15+ km

The A Dog's Way pack collectively walked just over 15 km today. Hunter and Casey started it off with paws-a-blazin'. Bapsi put her bows aside for many rolls in the snow. Bailey wasn't too fond of the cold wind off of the lake.
Ben, Molly, Sammy, Rocky and Milo enjoyed an active trek through High Park. There were lots of new spots to smell along the way and fresh snow to leave their tracks in.
Brady had tons of energy today.....he couldn't wait for fetch. Brady was happy to enjoy the game solo. Merlin joined the group's walk and kept Harry and Max busy playing. Sammy played 'follow the leader' with Buddy while Buddy and Harley stuck close to one another exploring.

'don't eat yellow snow'

Bapsi and Bailey each took time to enjoy the fresh, lake air today. At the creek, Jake and Brady were in competition with Dutch for fetch. Jake and Brady were in it for the game while Dutch was happy to carry it around  :)  game over once all of our tennis balls disappeared. Sammy, Max and Molly tore around after one another....they kept each other running.

new park

Hunter and Casey joined Harley and Max at the Etobicoke Creek. Hunter and Max frolicked around after each other while Casey and Harley stuck to the side of the trails where they could discover.

Today, the pack checked out the newest off-leash park at Colonel Samuel Smith Park. With the little space to run and few boundaries, Harry, Rocky, Ben, Otto, Brady and Sammy checked out the new scene, and carried on to the trails leading along the water.

mellow monday

Sammy, Molly, Ben, Dutch, Max and Harley were a wonderful pack today. Each enjoyed doing their own things while out on the trails at High Park. Sammy, Dutch and Max made sure to say 'hi' to every pooch that came in their view. Molly and Ben stayed closed, exploring the smells and pups the others reigned in. Harley acted like my shadow as a 'good' dog does   :)

Motown, Sammy and Max romped around during the morning hours, getting quite a workout. They tossed toys around, chased each other and had a blast!!! Prada and Harley watched as the others went wild...they got inspired at times and grabbed a toy to encourage a game of chase.
Georgia, Otto, Ben, Rocky and Dutch enjoyed a muddy stroll through High Park. There was lots of dogs around to sniff and play with.

not just dogs.

Hunter and Casey had lots of energy heading out for their morning walk. Both couldn't wait to get out and explore.
On our walk in High Park, we took a detour through the zoo. Milo's was a fan of the llamas while Rocky prefered the West Highland Cattle. Molly's favourite was the yaks while Ben admired the buffalo. The peacocks made some noise when they observed the pack causing a stir in the fallow deer pen. The pups stopped to watched the deers frolicking.
While at the Creek, Brady enjoyed a game of fetch to himself. He ran his heart out and actually tired on our way out...quite a surprise! Sammy kept Prada running...it was a great chase. Harry jumped in at Prada's rescue trying to deter Sammy to play with him. Lil Sammy followed Buddy closely while he explored the grounds.

snow dogs

the pack just loved the snow at High Park!! the chuck-it kept Jake, Dutch, Molly, Ben and Sammy running. Jake, Dutch and Ben were most interested in the ball, but Molly and Sammy enjoyed the sprints. Scamper had her tail wagging happily prancing around the rest of the pups.

fun pups.

Hunter & Casey walked at a fast pace, enjoying their brisk morning stroll. Bapsi and Watson did their 'business' in unison. Belle and Georgia made their rounds discovering new scents around the blocks.

At the creek, the pups were full of energy and spunk. Harry, Sammy and Ben rounded up the other pooches in the park with their game of chase. Harry clumsily pounced around while 'ruffing' with Sammy. Ben followed around minding the crew, barking at the bunch. Otto had a side game going but was more interested in watching the others and exploring closeby. Rocky was social with the people at the park, he was happy to receive pats. Zok minded his business staying out of the action but making sure to stop and smell every tree.

sun is shining...

Abby arrived full of energy for her day of fun, first enjoying a romp in the yard with Clancy and Prada. We got out a few balls and Harley joined in on the game. Zok wandered around making sure not to miss smelling a spot. Abby led Sammy, Molly, Ben and Dutch into High Park. Molly got the dogs moving as she chased after each one once let off leash. Sammy and Ben raced off finding the perfect spot to do their 'business'. Dutch made up for missed time by jogging around after other pups, sticks and balls, even stopping to roll in the snow. The pack stayed nearby one another as they dashed around happily starting the week off.
Harley, Prada, Clancy and Zok just returned from a neighbourhood stroll in which they worked up an appetite for dinner....mmmmmmmm.

happy tails

the day was off to a sunny start with Hunter & Casey's walk. Bapsi & Watson were in a great mood....I swear Bapsi was smiling. Bailey was happy to see me...he came running to meet me at the door. Georgia was on her best behaviour, she must've known her buddy Lincoln would be joining her at the park tomorrow.
Sammy, Molly, Ben, Belle, Milo and Rocky took me for their group walk today. They chose the route along the outskirt roads of High Park and across to look at the birds hanging out at the lake.
Little Sammy was the leader of the pack today. She ventured on her own and made sure to keep away from Harry's clumsy steps. Harry stepped away from the group just long enough to find his favourite 'spot'. Buddy made new friends at the park, his sister Sammy continued to check in along the walk. Harley and Prada played side by side keeping up with the rest of the pack.

it's starting to look a lot like winter

the snow brought out the best in the dogs today. Bapsi rolled in the newly fallen snow while Watson carried around his treat until he found the perfect spot to enjoy it. Bailey got out for his walk just in time for the winter wonderland....it was picturesque! Belle and I enjoyed a dip in the creek today...brrr. She loved every minute of it. Belle, Sammy and Jake joined Marshall in a playful romp. Molly, Ben, and Dutch stayed nearby and enjoyed the scenery during our active walk. Scamps explored in the bush area investigating all the smells. Harley and Prada did laps chasing each other as they took turns who led the run.

perfect pack

Bapsi and Watson enjoyed each others company on their outdoor strut.

High Park was filled with energy, fun and a playful pack when the A Dog's Way gang arrived. Belle got the troops...Sammy, Molly, Ben and Dutch, running as soon as we set foot on dog hill. She gave everyone a chase and started the walk off on a great 'paw'. The other pups in park joined in on the romp as we passed by. Dutch and Belle found a great big stick which they took turns carrying around. Molly kept Sammy running as she made frequent sprints after him. Ben was a very happy pup...he had a jolly bounce to his step. Belle made sure to enjoy a last roll in the dirt on our way out of the park.

Georgia headed to the lake where she seemed eager to play with pups in the distance. She soon forgot, preoccupied with the smells along the path.
