the pups were a boisterous bunch at High Park. We had 3 tennis balls in action to keep all the dogs moving and warm...Otto, Belle and Dutch were most interested. Otto was very excited about fetch today, he got most throws but kindly gave up the ball to another pup if approached. Belle used the ball to entice Georgia and Sammy to play, it worked well. Dutch was happy carrying around his ball, even happier when he had two in his mouth. Rocky left the fetch up to the others and trekked along the trails with his lovable grin.
Cuddles, George and Bella were perfect angels today! The trio walked side by side down the paths along the Humber River.
Jake and Harley just returned from the park pooped after an intense game of fetch. Jake was paired up with the chuck-it while Harley took ownership of a stick about twice his size. By the end, Jake's breath was opaque and his tongue was hanging out of the side of his mouth.

another cold winter day,
Ben, Molly, Sammy, Belle, Rocky and Milo enjoyed the change of scenery on their lakeside stroll. The sun was shining and the pups explored all the new smells.
Georgia chased her tail and picked up sticks along her walk. Bailey was ready to head inside after facing the cold wind off the lake. Bapsi was happy to roll in the newly fallen snow.
Jake and Brady had a fierce game of fetch. We had two balls going to keep them both busy. Buddy and Sammy kept close, making sure to steer out of Jake and Brady's path. Harry joined in the chase, but easily was distracted.

brrr, says the wind.
We took the chuck-it along with us to High Park. The whole pack joined in a game of fetch, all of them either chasing the ball or one another. Brady was quick, having the lead for the majority of the game. When Belle caught the ball, her goal was to keep it and have all the other pups to chase after her. Sammy and Molly were in for this game! Ben was on his game as well, although once fetched, he quickly got disinterested and dropped it making an eagerly waiting pooch very happy. The round of fetch ended once Dutch got the ball...he kept it safe in his chomps for the remainder of the walk.
The cold air didn't stop Georgia, Bailey or Bapsi from enjoying their afternoon potty outing.
Cuddles, George and Bella got bundled up for their riverside stroll. They were vocal, making sure to get noticed when passingby other pups.

winter's back
Harry, Ben, Sammy, Belle and Rocky headed to High Park for their early afternoon outing. Our walk got off to a very playful start, the pups were excited to see all the other pooches when we arrived. After a good romp, we followed along through the trails and onto Spring Road.
Our visit to the Creek was entertained by an active game of fetch. Brady, Jake and Abby started it off and were later accompanied by Lucy, Koby and Daisy to name a few. Buddy, Sammy and Otto watched from the side lines. The end of the fetch session happened when we lost all three balls we came with. Not sure how it was possible with all the eager participants.

rainy day
Bapsi got suited up in her raincoat to brave the morning showers.
The rain stopped just in time for our group walk in High Park...the trails were a muddy mess! Sammy and Belle riled each other up as soon as they hit dog hill and didn't stop until we were heading out. Ben kept his nose to the ground and followed the many dog scents in the park. Dutch joined in on a game of fetch once we returned back to dog hill, he gave the other pup a 'run for his ball'.
Georgia was fascinated by her fellow furry creatures...lots of birds and squirrels were out today.
Molly, Jake, Navigator and Harley enjoyed their neighbourhood stroll. They all walked side by side and took turns smelling the trees as we passed by.
Cuddles, George and Bella headed out to explore and wander their local territory. They were quite the pack when encountering other pups.

mr. sun :)
What a beautiful day to head into the weekend, starting with a muddy hike through High Park. Georgia made sure herself, Sammy, Belle and Rocky weren't the only ones covered in mud. I left the park with mud prints from head to toe. Dutch and Otto followed close beside me taking in the bright sunshine and warmer, winter air.
Buddy and Sammy enjoyed their playdate with Harley, Molly, Prada and Bear. All the pups explored taking breaks to chase each other around.

perfect pups
Hunter and Casey were ready to go when I arrived. Through the field, the beagles barely took their noses off the ground.
Ben, Sammy, Belle, Rocky and Milo trekked along Spring Road to High Park. All the pups enjoyed the fresh air as they romped through the park making new friends.
Georgia pranced along proudly stopping to do her business in her favourite spot.
To finish the day off...Harry, Buddy and Sammy joined Molly, Prada and Bear at the creek for a rendevous. Buddy set the pace for the pack leading us along the trails. Harry stumbled upon a smelly mess to roll around in. When he joined the pack with his new fragrance, all pups and people steered out of his way. Bear, the puppy he is, tried to initiate play with Sammy but Sammy wouldn't have any part of it. Bear moved onto the other pups...Prada was game! Molly made sure to find all the left over patches of snow to roll around in, she stayed away from Harry's 'special' spot.

not so muddy day
When I arrived this morning, Bapsi was curled up very comfy in a laundry basket. She didn't even want to get up for her walk...I can't say I blame her :)
At High Park, the mud firmed up to ice. During our walk, Ben had bursts of energy that fueled his sprints. Jake calmly minded the park, trying to pick up sticks along the way despite his buster collar obstacle. Scamps was full of spunk, she scampered around strutting her stuff. Sammy and Belle ran side by side engaging in very playful pack behaviours. Dutch was stopped by the usual suspects and enjoyed his scratches.
Harley, Molly, Prada and Bear are getting ready to be bundled and buckled up to head to the creek for a sunny saunter.

lots o' energy
Sammy was ecstatic to head out to the creek with two of his favourite gal pal's, Abby and Belle. The trio whipped around the park making new adventures each step they took. Abby and Belle frequently attached themselves together with each of them at either end of a stick *a picture perfect moment, I didn't have my camera for*. Harry was interested in a game he likes to call 'grab a mitt and go'. Although unsuccessful, he was rather determined and persistent. Rocky was kept nearby, but made sure to stop at every scent and tree along the way. Otto trailed behind the pack keeping a distant eye on all of the action.
Georgia, Bailey and Bapsi all greeted me at the door with their tails wagging.
Molly, Harley, Prada and Bear headed down for an afternoon stroll to walk along the Etobicoke Creek to Marie Curtis Park. All the pups explored the new surroundings and met other pooches along the way.

messy days.
The pack and I had a very peaceful and relaxing walk through High Park. The trails were covered in mud and ice, but the pups didn't seem to mind....it just made for messy pooches. Sammy took off on a squirrel hunt, but he had no luck. Molly was excited to find lots of sticks throughout the park. She tossed one around until she got bored of it. At that point, Dutch picked it up and carried it around until the next one dropped. Ben was happy to explore the grounds staying close to the pack. He took the scenic route along the water when we walked along Spring Road. Harley was happy with the warmer weather, he followed closeby making friends with all the pups along the way.
Georgia was full of beans. She was vocal saying 'hello', to passing by dogs and mailmen.

end of the week
Georgia, Belle and Sammy went wild at High Park today. The three of them chased in circles, jumping all over each other. Otto, Dutch and Rocky sat today out and watched from afar. The pups had a great walk to head into the weekend.

warming up
Hunter and Casey were very content with the warmer weather. Our neighbourhood trek was a discovery of new scents under the melting snow.
The pack led me to High Park! Ben was very happy to see his friends from It's A Dog's Life. Himself and Belle joined in on their game of fetch. The game ended when Belle decided she wanted to carry around the ball instead. Rocky kept close behind the pack as they raced back and forth. Milo trailed closeby the water smelling every scent along the way.
Gerogia is a peach! She was very excited for her stretch and walk around the neighbourhood.
The afternoon walk at the creek was a great way to end the day. Brady didn't take his eye off the tennis ball the whole time. Buddy tried to chase the ball, but Brady was too quick. Buddy stuck to the sticks I threw for him. Sammy was happy with the warmer weather as well. She trotted alongside, staying out of the packs running path. Harry followed Sammy closely as he investigated every sound and smell around the park. They took running breaks to chase each other around. Molly got all muddy with the melting snow and couldn't be happier!!!

ball toss
Today at High Park, the pack was united and energetic. They all stayed close playing with one another. We brought along a couple of balls to keep the pups entertained while we trailed. During our walk...Belle, Dutch, Brady and Jake took turns passing the toys between themselves. Once one pup drop their ball, another would grab it and go. Even Ben was excited in the toy toss. Due to a recent injury, Jake was fashioning a buster collar so we made sure to take it easy trying to keep the toys localized. Scamps was the most energietic of all!! She led the pack every which way as she bounced along.
Gerogia, Bailey and Bapsi enjoyed their solo walks. They all took care of 'business' right away.
Molly, Sammy and Harley had fun on their afternoon neighbourhood stroll. Molly and Sammy were interested in all the new smells.

sunny day :)
The sun was out for all walks today :) During Hunter and Casey's morning stroll, the snow sparkled as we trekked through the neighbouring field.
Bapsi rolled around in the soft and fluffy snow...she was in her glory!
At High Park, Rocky led the pack with his 'thunder' run. With the sun beaming down, Otto's shadow followed close behind mine. He strutted along showing off his new jacket. Back at dog hill, Belle and Brady joined in on a game of frisbee and fetch.
Georgia was intently focused on all smells and sounds while she puttered along during her walk.
Harry, Molly, Sammy, Abby and Harley enjoyed their afternoon adventure through the Etobicoke Creek. The park was full of other pooches to play with. Sammy and Abby had Molly and Marshall following closely as they tore around. As cold as it was, Abby splashed back and forth in the creek. Molly was covered in snow by the time we were done at the park. Even Harry enjoyed rolling in the snow, he was very playful today. All the while, Harley imagined as if he was running through sandy beaches instead of snow.
Molly and Sammy are excited that they will be staying at Camp A Dog's Way for the next few days.

monday madness
Today, the pups couldn't wait to get to High Park. They sprung off at dog hill racing around getting all their sillies out...the other pooches at the park joined in. Belle was anxiously waiting by the door when I arrived. Sammy was ready to play - him and Belle playfully tackled each other along the walk. Ben, sporting his new jacket, and Molly pranced around 'woofing' at the others encouraging a chase. Dutch is loved by everyone, people always stop to ask about him. He is a big teddy bear!
Georgia was Georgia :)

it's a cold one!
The whole pack was ready to run today. They were all full of energy and spunk - they took turns chasing each other around. Gerogia and Sammy did laps around the creek, with Rocky, Ben and Belle close behind. Dutch found a ball at the park that he shared with Belle. They each carried it around, fetching it when tossed. The pups had a riot and were all tuckered on the ride home.
When Otto arrived at the park, he took off bouncing down the hill. Harley, Prada and Otto kept their little paws moving while out and about to stay warm in the bitter of winter.
just realized that I dated all invoices 2009, ooops! Next week, I'll make sure to keep up with the new year.

hey, beautiful day
I awoke Casey from her beauty sleep to head out for her morning walk. She and Hunter, with their beagle noses, explored every scent along the way.
It was an active walk to High Park...we worked up a sweat! Ben was excited to be reunited with his pack pals after his holiday, he 'woofed' and was ready for a chase. Molly was ready for action as well, happy to see her pal Ben, they ran about encouraging the others to play. As soon as Sammy R was free, he raced into the wooded area, bouncing back and forth looking for squirrels. Belle curiously hunted the oncoming pooches getting low to the ground hoping to surprise them. Milo, the handsome wanderer, stayed close to the pack making sure he had his eye on the others. Rocky ventured into the grassy areas taking in the smells along the way. Looking on from a distance, an admirer told him how cute he was. On our way out of the park, Sammy and Belle continued to 'ruff' with each other even after they were leashed up.
Today, Georgia took it easy and took care of 'business'. She is excited to head out with the pack tomorrow, can't wait to play with Sammy and the others.
Bailey rushed to the door greeting me, ready to head out. We both enjoyed a peaceful walk along the lake with the sun beaming down.
At the Etobicoke Creek...the pups were all very happy. Harry had a bit of crazy in him as he clumsily bounced back and forth urging people and pups to play. Brady brought sticks, twigs and even pieces of bark to my feet ready for fetch. He had some competition once Buddy realized the game. Buddy raced to get to each stick first and both took their turns fetching. Sammy A, Miss. Itty Bitty, started the walk at the head of the pack, leading the way. She took the 'dog walker mobile' at one point when she wanted a break and some warmth. Prada and Harley, best buds stayed close to one another as they explored the creek.

great day.
Bapsi spent her time outside rolling every inch of herself in the snow.
Harley and Prada got all bundled up before heading to High Park. They were joined by Molly, Sammy, Belle and Dutch. Molly took a running start to burrow through the snow. She chased after the other pooches urging them all to play. Dutch found the coolest stick at the park, all the pups wanted it. He carried it around until heading back to the car. When he dropped it to take a breather, Belle snatched it away. She carried it the rest of the way to the car, we will be bringing it on our tomorrows visit to the park. Sammy stayed real close to the pack making sure he was in on all the action.
The sun came out just in time for Georgia's walk. She was still determined today to catch her tail, and she succeeded!
A perfect walk to wrap up the day. Jake, Scamper and I enjoyed a relaxing walk through Marie Curtis Park.

winter wonderland
Hunter and Casey started the day off on the right paw. They went for their neighbourhood stroll making sure to stay far away from the salt covered sidewalks. (the city needs to use pet-friendly salt)
It was a Winter Wonderland at the Etobicoke Creek, and the pups loved it !! Sammy and Abby (best buds) were ecstatic to see each other after a couple weeks break. They politely waited to get to the park before they went wild. Belle enjoyed meeting more new friends and frolicked about with Sammy, Abby and the other pooches. Brady, decked out in his fashionable jersey and jacket, was ready to play with the big dogs. He chased them all around, making sure to stop for every stick along the way. The pups had company...Diesel, Timber and Holiday joined us along our travels. Otto loves to be nearby, he's really smart staying close to the body heat. what a sweetheart! Harry scanned for warm bodies to lean up against when he wasn't trying to get Belle to chase him. He is one pooch that easily demands attention! Rocky was full of energy. He ventured through the park exploring the scents he missed since his last visit. Brady didn't want to leave the creek, he made friends with Coco and wanted to stay & play.
Georgia loves the snow. So excited she chased in circles after her tail and kicked it up as she played. While Georgia went along her walk, she lapped up the newly fallen snow.
Bailey was ready to go when I arrived with his great, blue sweater on. He got bundled up and took in the fresh air on his lakeside outing. Afterwards, he quietly settled and found a warm spot to cozy up in.

brrr....
brrr...today was a cold one! At High Park, the pack kept at a steady pace to keep themselves warm. The pups were eager to get out after the holidays to run off their well-fed bellies. Dutch was the first of the pack to roll around in the newly fallen snow. After a dog park hiatus, Belle was excited to meet all of her new pack mates for the first time especially Sammy who was full of energy and ready to play. The pair dashed about the park with the rest of the pups jumping in for a chase around. Molly was very happy to play in the snow, she dug her face and rolled around in it making herself into a snowdog. On Cliff's last day after his visit with A Dog's Way over the holidays...he made every effort to meet all the other pooches at the park, making sure he had a play-filled outing. Prada even made it out despite the cold weather. She was bundled up and kept moving to keep herself warm. Harley was happy to stay at home in the comfort of his warm bed while the other pups headed out :)
Georgia was bouncing as soon as she set foot on her potty walk. She found a stick at the start and only put it down to toss and fetch again. Georgia left it by her front door, so she could take it on her next walk.
